I really hate to update my review from a few years negatively, but I must. Java has switched to table service instead of ordering at the counter. This really slows the process down. I stopped by for Sunday lunch, waited in line for several minutes, was not greeted. Then I was shown to my table. The Cuban is still good; today's soup was chicken noodle. However, as a solo diner, I was abandoned after my food arrived and the waiter did not check on me. I was given the check on their tablet, with defaulted 20% tip. I tipped it, bit frankly today's service did not deserve that. I visited in person a few years ago when they were still counter service, and unfortunately encountered the same lackadaisical service as the greeter was on their personal phone instead of assisting me. Still bomb food, but at this rate, stick to go and enjoy at home. If you live close like me, it's not that much more to do to go, and I refill my own water. What a shame; I know waitstaff have the hardest gig, but it is their literal job to greet their customers, check in, and refill drinks. Java is failing in the service area now.

Wanted breakfast before work and wife wanted to go to this staple. Surprised it wasn't too busy but drive thru was busy which I thought how good can food be if made this fast. Food was absolutely delicious with freshness. The eggs were not overnight with veggies, they were all fresh green and red pick with lush mushrooms and cheddar just shredded. Avocado was perfectly ripe. Exactly how I'd want it but again shocked at portions with sausages too which also fresh and juicy. Orange juice tasted freshly squeezed too. Outdoor was best as indoor didn't feel as welcoming but thoroughly surprised and will be back. Service was also very quick and for the speed again I was surprised how fresh it was.

This place is perfect for breakfast or brunch. I had a super fresh and tasty omelet, and the portions were really generous. The staff was polite and helpful, explained everything on the menu. You can tell it's a popular spot, we got there around 10 a.m., and it was almost full, but we still found a table. The coffee was great too, smooth taste, not too much milk, just how I like it in the morning. We had such a good time. I think this might become our go-to breakfast place. Prices are fair, most breakfast dishes start around $12-13, and it's totally worth it. Big thanks to the kitchen: my omelet was honestly perfect. The space is bright and open, with plenty of seating inside and outside

we arrived 45 minutes before close, and our server sam was super kind about it. She was amazing! She had great knowledge about the menu, coffee offerings, and was very kind and personable. She and the gentleman from the kitchen who ran our food, brought my dog a treat. Everyone was insanely friendly, including the manager on shift, whose name I did not get, thank y'all for an amazing meal! The food was delicious, the prices were fair, and the service was exemplary. we sat on the patio with my dog and it was very comfortable!

Stopped by before my drive back to DFW. Cool decor and the merch was dope. Poor service to start. I placed a pickup order on Doordash. Stood at the pick up location at the bar for at least 5 minutes before anyone addressed me. They weren't super busy. Didn't get a hello/how are you doing, just "have you been helped yet?". After I told them I was waiting for a to go order, another customer came up and was pleasantly greeted right away. Very weird. Breakfast quesadilla looked promising but didn't pan out. A hefty serving, all of it super bland. The salsa was good, but besides that everything was flavorless. Some salt and pepper would've went a long way. Potatoes were cut way too big. Some of them were on the undercooked side because of this. Got an iced Carmel latte. Nothing to ride home about. Tasted weak. Wouldn't come here again.

You cannot go wrong with a classic Austin diner. It use to be that you order at the counter, but they have now switched to ordering at a table which I'm happy about. There was no wait to get a table of 2 on a Sunday morning. They have tons of great options for coffee and really delicious breakfast plates. I got the eggs Benedict with bacon and avocado and it was the perfect amount and flavor. We shared a big pancake which was moist and sweet! I love bringing folks from out of town here as it is as Austin weird as you can get.

I have loved this spot since they moved to our neighborhood. This Austin Java has such a nice feel. The staff are so friendly and helpful. You order at the counter, find a seat and they bring your food to you. They have a water station and plenty of bathrooms, they have coffee drinks, mimosas and it looks like they had a margarita special. This is a great place for brunch and they have a small outdoor seating area as well.

Friendly cashier when I placed my order, which was an iced chi tea latte with oat milk. I don't normally drink oat milk, but it is what it is. The chi was weak. I'm not sure what they made me. Chi should have some spicy like flavor. Was more like weak watered down tea, nothing chi about it. Pro's, they're open late. I think we were there until 10pm and they also service alcohol.

I did all three. I started out with a Franzbrötchen, a German style cinnamon roll, and a cortado. Both were a great start while waiting for one of the best breakfast sandwiches I've had in a while. The sandwich I chose comes with bacon, beer cheese, fluffy eggs, and Russian dressing on a beautifully toasted Bavarian croissant. I also had to try a side of their duck fat potatoes, fried golden brown with smoked duck fat, whipped confit garlic butter, and fresh thyme. This was an excellent meal with great service, and I would highly recommend checking them out if you're ever in the area.

The staff were all attentive and nice; the table decor was obviously DIY crafted but it was still cute and creative! The flavor was severely lacking in all of our entrees. The portions were also really small, like, almost Lunchables-sized. My friend ordered Kiki's cake and it was pretty dry. There was not a non-chocolate option, as someone who hates it, which was fine. I was going to give my friend the other dessert but they were able to sub it for a pastry from the counter. The drinks, however, were very well done. I would love to see those as regular staples on the menu. Even though the calcirita was incredibly smoky, like, "coal in your lungs"-type sensation, it was at least still on theme. I would suggest doing cocktail that can be temporarily lit on fire or it comes in a glass dome with a "smoke-like" effect instead if repeating the theme. I will consider coming back one more time for their regular menu but I don't know that it was worth driving down again soon.
