Service was great Good location Coffee was OK. Bitter and my cup was filled quite a bit with foam :/

As a coffee coffee coffee lover, this was not my favorite. The coffee was okay. My latte probably would've been better as a hot. The iced didn't allow for much of the flavor to pull through. The hot Cafe de Olla was good flavor, but the cup was quite literally half foam. The person who took our order was nice, and the truck is located in a cute spot. Definitely an overrated place that I probably won't be coming back to.

I LOVE CENIZO! I have a great coffee setup at home, but that doesn't stop me from getting my iced horchata latte fix at least once a week. The staff are all so kind and I really appreciate the owners for investing in SE Austin like they have. They also have really creative seasonal menus (bring back the banana latte!!)

The coffees weren't as flavorful as we had hoped. I've had much better elsewhere, and both my husband and I had to ask for more flavor pumps. I ordered the seasonal horchata latte, which was bland, and my husband tried the café de olla latte which was average. Not worth the long lines in my opinion, but the service was good. That said, the location and ambiance are true to the "Keep Austin Weird" vibe, with a variety of food trucks in the park and a good amount of parking available. They also have live music, which was a nice touch. Overall, I think there are better coffee spots in Austin.

I'm such a Cenizo fan girl! Since moving to South Austin, Cenizo has become a part of my regular routine. Their coffee truck is located in a food truck park: Tree House Park. Theres a ton of neighboring food options as well, a perfect place to stop by for lunch. I'm a big fan of their matcha. I've had their matcha with lavender and oat milk, which is a staple for me! Recently they've introduced their "Summer Matcha" which is their matcha with fresh berries. It's DELICIOUS! Cenizo also has some delicious pastries available. I've tried their Cinnamon rolls which are absolutely incredible! They have a few seats right outside of the truck, and are opening a second location soon! Very happy to support this local business - it's delicious, convenient, and the team at Cenizo is incredibly friendly!

A charming coffee food truck in East Austin! We ordered a vanilla latte, a churro latte, a kolache, and a cream cheese pastry. The churro latte was absolutely delicious--not too sweet and full of flavor. I would've liked a bit more spice, but it was still great overall. Both the kolache and the pastry were tasty as well. With other food trucks nearby, it's definitely a cute spot to relax and hang out with family!

Cutest little place. Nice view, great customer service, drinks and food is pretty good. The guy working was really nice and they used fresh chamomile herbs for my tea. Thank you!!

I can't believe I haven't reviewed this spot. Located right outside our neighborhood, Cenizo is such an amazing addition to SE Austin. The owners are super sweet, have great coffee and pastry selection and even better customer service. They get to know each of their customers. This spot has plenty of room for outdoor seating, food trucks and even a cool tree house. My personal favorite is their horchata.

Our neighborhood has been loving Cenizo ever since they opened up shop. The staff is extremely friendly, the coffee is delicious, and the outdoor seating area is super comfortable. I stop by this coffee shop a few times a week and it's always an amazing experience. Thank y'all for everything that you do!

I'd rate the Don Quixote a 9.2/10. It's made with Mexican chocolate spice and reminded me of Abuelita hot chocolate. The Great Gatsby was an 8.5/10. I liked the combination of white and dark chocolate, though it was sweeter than I prefer, so I asked for some hot milk to tone down the sweetness. They have three locations, all in the downtown area. Since it was a Saturday morning, there was a long line, we waited about 20 minutes to order and another 20 minutes for our drinks. The staff was extremely nice, but the process felt a bit chaotic. They didn't take our names and simply called out the drinks when they were ready. Since our drinks weren't prepared at the same time and there were so many people, it was a little confusing figuring out which drink was ours.

Every piece in the store appears to be intentionally curated. Maaribu melds a home and gift shop with an in house café and bakery, creating an experience that's both relaxing and memorable. According to Mable, my server, Maaribu is a combination of the word Marfa (Texas town that has the Prada store) and Malibu. The brand is often described as combining Marfa's creative spirit, Malibu's laid back lifestyle, and clean Scandinavian design. The shop portion of Maaribu is beautifully styled, featuring furniture, décor, books, and gifts that have a modern flare. All the items are easy to peruse and get drawn in. The use of color is playful and engaging. Maaribu's key highlight is its café and bakery. The in house café has an assortment of coffee, wellness beverages, and dedicated gluten free baked goods. I bought a Rose honey latte, which was divine along with a multi-layer pastry. Mable said customers enjoy the quality and flavor of the pastries...scones, muffins, cookies, brownies, and egg bites are frequent favorites. Importantly, the café is reported to be fully gluten free, which makes it a standout destination for people with celiac disease or gluten sensitivities, without sacrificing taste or variety. The outdoor seating and patio area add to the charm, making Maaribu a great place to enjoy coffee and pastries on a nice Austin morning. After years in Austin, I finally discovered Maaribu--a modern, eclectic coffee shop and store. Outdoor seating makes it a perfect spot to enjoy coffee and pastries on a pleasant Austin morning. Wow...Maaribu!!!

We chose half sweetness so it didn't feel drenched in maple syrup, which made it way more enjoyable for me. The cinnamon notes and subtle spice undertone came through nicely. Not exactly my go-to since I gravitate toward floral or fruit-forward drinks, but definitely fun to try at least once. Honey Lavender - LOVED this one. Everyone agreed it was very lavender, which only made me love it more. I chose whole milk and was surprised by how smooth and creamy it tasted. My only tiny complaint is that I didn't get much coffee flavor coming through, but if you're here for the lavender, this absolutely delivers. Coconut Macadamia Latte - this hit the spot. Perfectly coconut-y with just enough macadamia peeking through. I'll admit I have a sharp tongue for coconut flavors (hello, Thai curry), so this one immediately stood out to me. The sweetness level felt just right, and honestly, I'd pick this over Starbucks any day. Pumpkin Cream Cheese Muffin - one of the best things I ate in Austin. The texture deserves praise because it somehow managed to be firm without being dry, which I usually think goes hand in hand. Not here. It was moist, flavorful, and absolutely delicious while somehow also not being overly sweet. The cream cheese and pumpkin flavors came through beautifully without feeling sugary or heavy. If you stop by, this is a must-order. But honestly, the best part of this whole place? The service, the people, the atmosphere (especially the atmosphere!), and the flavors. There's something about the space that just makes you want to stay awhile. Also... did you know you can touch the bear's butt?!? Highly recommend. It weirdly felt like a mandatory part of the experience.

Tons of outdoor and patio seating, a few tables indoors in the AC. I ordered the Flapjack, hot, with double espresso in a larger cup, with half sweetness (effectively a large with less services). Delicious saltiness and cinnamon! I really enjoyed this. I tried the honey lavender latte which they said was the least sweet of their fort favorites. The lavender flavor was very forward and there was a hint of sweetness on the back of the tongue, so very accurate. I didn't get as much coffee flavor here so maybe double espresso if that's important to you. Friends also tried the seasonal coconut macadamia latte (they said it was nice, like a sweet nutty flavor). Really solid coffee spot with great vibes, I'd come back.
