When you ask if this is something that should be done, they double down that it is necessary for your tires. So of course you believe them and agree to the service. Only to find out after talking to others what a scam this is especially in Redding where the car is continuously out of alignment. I'm now out $119 plus tax only after I found a coupon in their own website to discount it $20. Why didn't they start with we are having a special on this service or not offer at full price? Then when I picked up the car, they told me the check engine light is now on and I should have this checked out?! Hello?! I'm I not at the service center?! But of course they can't check that out because I would need to schedule an appointment for them to do a diagnostic at an additional fee before they could determine what the service will be. No more will I go or trust my Rav 4 to Lithia Toyota service center.
