Use to take my truck to Auto Lab. Never again. Worst repair shop around. Trust is a rare commodity these days. Would get service and then a quote for other items. Estimate thousands. Had another shop check it out. "Not sure what this mean, but no, these parts are fine?". Had an oil leak. Auto Lab brought up after servicing the truck. Stated oil pan gasket needs replacement ($$$$$). Took to another shop. Nope. That shop commented. looks like someone loosened every bolt. Was tightened. Zero leaks. hmmmmm. Replaced my trans. Lasted exactly 3.5 weeks. went out again. They would not stand behind it. Wanted to put another in. hmmm. Why so that will go out in 4 weeks. Expensive lessons unfortunately. Will never return to Auto Lab. We work to hard for our money today to throw it out the window expecting Quality Honest work. I typically do not submit reviews. But this time it has to be submitted. In the quote from a well know movie. "Run Forest Run". This former Customer would not let Auto Lab service my weed eater. Stay away. Unless you have a lot of cash to throw away. G read more

We took our car there to get a diagnosis, and the communication was terrible. They basically mumbled behind a computer. We didn't really understand if they were actually looking up the part to see if it was available or when they were gonna have a chance to look at it or really anything at all, and we waited for hours to get the diagnosis. Brought my truck in to get the rear-end looked at. I set an appointment up for Monday at 8am I couldn't pick the truck up until 3pm on Tuesday. 2 whole days just to look at the truck. Then I get the diagnoses and they told me over the phone they are guessing it's this one part but not sure unless they tear into it. Gave me an estimate for double if not triple any other shop I've called and Auto-Lab said it could get even higher than that. I politely declined the estimate and said I wanted to pick my truck up so the guy on the phone said ok 130 dollars and it'll be ready in 5 minutes. I send someone up there to pay and get the keys and he calls me 15 minutes later saying oh sorry I forgot we have to put fluid back in it so that'll bring the price up to 215 dollars and we won't have it ready for another 1-2 hours. So I had to cancel the person that was going up there for me and pay 215 dollars for a guess. I was told originally it was only going to be 130 to diagnose the rear end. I get they have to put fluid back in it but why wasn't that price included when I called and asked how much it would be to diagnose my rear differential? Anyway do not recommend at all I paid 215 dollars for almost zero information and I've heard many other complaints about after talking around about my experience. Do yourself a favor and go to a real shop. read more

made appointment for an alignment based on google search with 69.99 price. screenshot the ad. when i arrived the arrogant slug manager told me to google it again because he didn't believe me. I did it again to show him. he said "oh we don't control the website and it's wrong". the price was much higher. horrible customer service and no people skills. He didn't even offer to do anything I smelled like sh@@ in the lobby. I just took my business down the street. I would not recommend. read more

We have been getting our oil changed here for two years. It seemed like a great place. THEN, we took it in for a change in a Saturday morning and the guy said "it will be about 45 min." We came back 90 min later to find they hadn't touched the car. They "rushed" it in & called 20 min. Later to say it was done. Fast forward two weeks. Car sounds odd. Really odd. We check the oil, there is barely any showing up. My husband calls the manager at Auto lab to ask and he instantly said "you have a huge leak then, because we would never not put oil in your car. Bring it in and we will look at it." Of course we did not. We took it to our dealer who confirmed: A.) there wasn't a leak. B.) we very nearly lost our engine. C.) Auto lab is shady and dishonest, because even if an employee had screwed up- the manger handled it poorly. read more

The absolute worst and most dishonest place you could ever take your vehicle. When I took my 99 F250 superduty with the 7.3 powerstroke to them I told them that I was ready to rebuild my motor if necessary. On four separate occasions I asked them to check into my oil pressure gauge because once the motor was hot the gauge was fluttering they told me they did but never put a manual gauge on it and 4000.00 dollars later and 700 miles my motor blew. I called them to ask them what can be done about it and the owner Andy laughed about it and refused to make it right. I called their corporate office and they said that what I was asking was fair but because they are a franchise they couldn't force them to do the right thing. Beware of these crooks. We took my vehicle for a Front End Alignment appointment at Auto-Lab. We were on-time and they promptly took it in. I switched seats so I could watch them take it in and work on it... They took the vehicle in and raised it up, 2 minutes later they lowered it. The mechanic said we needed Tie-Rod-Ends & Lower Ball-Joints first. My Husband asked the price, and was told it would cost over $650. He then says we must pay $47 for a vehicle inspection they performed. Wait, What? They just charged us $47 because they could not work on our car! My advice to the person reading this: If you are on a fixed income or make minimum wage, DO NOT go here. I saved up my money to get a front-end-alignment but paid for nothing! The employees/mechanics seemed very nice. This is obviously a management directed problem. read more

Took my daughters Equinox in for an exhaust inspection and coolant flush. After my daughter got home with no heat, I looked in the system and the coolant looked like it was rusty water. When I called back to explain, the guy said I would have to flush the system 5 times to get it clean. I did the work myself at home and it only took once to get it clean and the heat back. Never trust this location. They will lie to you about what your car needs. read more

Getting my car repaired is probably the worst possible thing I can think of. I cry. A lot. I was married most of my life and car problems terrify me because I've never had to deal with them before. The guys at Auto-Lab have ALWAYS come through for me, always gone the extra mile, stayed late, given me amazing breaks in price and put a smile on my face when I was a disaster. All of the repairs have held well, they always take the time to explain to me why it needed repair, show me the old parts and are never condescending or dismissive, even when I'm asking a million questions because I'm panicking. I can't say enough good things about the mechanics here. Absolutely, stand up guys. read more

I have had nothing but bad experiences with Auto-Lab. To make it short and sweet, every time my car or my roommate's car has entered that shop, it has come out with a completely new problem that did not exist before. I'm not sure if they are understaffed, legitimately that bad at their jobs, or destroying cars to keep their business alive, but I will never give another dime to Auto-Lab. They do not meet the deadlines given, will always charge you more than the price quoted, and you get a car returned to you in worse condition than when it came in. Do not recommend. read more

We were having some serious problems with our car that we were unable to track down. Called and asked them if they did inspections and quotes to find out what was wrong with a car. I made an appointment, they barely even acknowledged the car, didn't put it up on the lift to inspect it, and gave me an outrageous quote on what I had suggested might be wrong with the car without giving me anything other than what I had originally said to them. I went there to trouble shoot and fix my car, and got no answers of any kind. They didn't charge me anything for the faux inspection so there was that. Overall, I would say they might know what they are doing, MIGHT, but they don't really care about fixing your car. If you try and make them work, they will quote you a price 3X more than the competition around for the same work. I was disappointed as Autozone was the one to recommend them to me.
