I've held off on making a review for the past few years, but now I think is a good time since we recently came back. I initially took my AE85 Corolla here under the Strictly Japanese name and told them that whatever needs to be done alongside other issues I pointed out, then to fix them, since I had just bought the car and wasn't sure on maintenance history. Now this Corolla itself is a rare model, and I was prepared for parts to be hard to come by...fast forward to have it be picked up, and somehow the car caught on fire and it slightly damaged the hood, so it had to be in the shop a little while longer for the hood to be repainted and for other things that may have needed to be looked over. At that point I got anxious on what was going on with my car and just wanted it back. Now, I did get it back in, I think it was July 2023 (dropoff I believe was March or April of 2023), but I was disappointed that they didn't look at the last remaining issue which was to look at the fuel pump and alternator. I had just started my internship at Meyer's so I was able to fix up my car from there and I haven't gone back since, let alone make a review. Now here we are, 3 years later, and I rear-ended someone in my VW Beetle which happens to be ANOTHER rare model (turbo 6 speed manual). There was some issues unrelated to the accident that the collision center wasn't going to touch per our agreement, and he gave this shop as a recommendation since he knew the owner. Since it's been so long, I honestly didn't recognize the voice but come to find out this was the same shop I took my Corolla to! Now, Strictly Euro did fix up our bug and got us back on the road...upon initial driving everything works good, no leaks, and they did fix up our car in a quick and timely manner. I'm thankful that Gary here was a VW tech back in the day at a dealer and knows about these engines in particular, and I feel like this shop has earned redemption after my experience with my Corolla. The work Gary does is good. I had him fix two injectors. He charged more then the dealership that did 4 more under warranty. When I asked for him to help get the codes right so my other two he did could be covered under warranty he almost wasn't willing to even give me the neccesary diagnosis that covered the other 4 at the dealer. read more

Hands down the best and honest auto repair shop that I have experienced in Las Vegas. Gary and his wife Veronica are such amazing business owners. The first time I brought my Range Rover Velar to their shop they stayed on top of communicating with updates with the repair status and with delays from my warranty company. They were honest about the work needed to be done and also didn't pressure me into getting the repairs that my warranty didnt cover. This time as soon as I called Gary to let him know I was stuck on the side of the freeway waiting for the tow he said just come on by. Well, for the first time in a long time I am completely satisfied by this shop. Prior to bringing them my 2016 Range Rover, I took my car to another shop with my warning light on with only 1 error code. So I bought the two holes, and replaced the part's myself(which was beyond easy) and the warning sign was still on when I took it into the shop for them to clear the code, well, that didn't happen. Somehow my car went from 1 code to 20 different codes that came up, and when I actually drove it around trying to make the error codes go away, I brought it back to this shop for them to clear it out again and so they did, and I tried to put the car into drive, and I couldn't shift at all except to park. They told me that it looks like it may be my transmission so they cleared out the codes again, and somehow the gears worked again. Thats when I was recommended to Gary by another mechanic that said he's the best. I have a fully running Range Rover now, and let me tell you the peace of mind that it brought me was priceless. I have the utmost confidence in him and his team and would recommend them to anyone needing work on a European car. Oh, and my transmission was just fine. It's a weird little office but I'm not complaining, you'll understand when you see it. Gary was awesome, he kept me in the loop every step of the way, and here was a plus, sometimes dealing with mechanics you just feel like I was being scammed or lied to. He was honest and strait forward. I'm not gonna lie, It was costly, but I'm sure it would be more expensive if I took it to a LandRover dealership. However, I'm sure it's because I when I brought my car to the first shop they told me that it would be $150 to run diagnostic and clear the codes. Then after everything was said and done, it cost me $800 then $2600 at Strickly European but the comfort that came with finding the right shop was priceless. A+++ There's a reason they have all five stars. It's family-owned and operated (Gary and Veronica). They're extremely helpful and very honest (which for obvious reasons you want in your service provider). I get my Mercedes 2019 GLA serviced with them, and I can say they're way better than the dealer (at a fraction of the cost). They'll never try to sell you something you don't need. In fact, quite the opposite. If you think you need something, and you don't, despite the fact that they could make more money, they'll be straight up with you and tell you, you don't need it. I appreciate their service so much that when we move back to California, I'll probably still get my car serviced with them. (They're right over the freeway across from Mandalay Bay and right next to Allegiant.) The only complaint I have (and it's not really a complaint) is that it's a little tricky to find in the industrial park where they're located -- everyone in the park seems to have something to do with cars. ;-) Nonetheless, I HIGHLY recommend Strictly European! read more

My husband found the needed replacement part at a lower cost, and SE was fine with that. This is the worst place to ever take your car. Very unprofessional car place doesn't even look like the pictures. Workers went through my glove department and broke. It they attempted to tape it up and said they will fix on a later date car is leaking oil everywhere took them almost 4 days to do a 24 hour diagnostic. I had to call them to get my car. I wonder if I didn't call how many more days it would have been had to call to get my car after he told me he's only gonna have it. 24 hours turned into almost 4 days for a simple diagnostic. The whole time they was going through my car, searching through everything in my car, went in my glove department and broke it to the point where it won't even close when I asked him about it, he attempted to just tape it up very unprofessional place. It's so hard to find reliable people these days, especially reliable mechanics. We were SO fortunate to find Veronica and Gary. They are simply the best. We were traveling to Las Vegas for the weekend. We were about one hour outside of Las Vegas when our AC stopped working. (It was 106F outside!!) The first two auto places we found were not willing to help. One guy was eating lunch and refused to help us. We walked into Strictly European/Strictly Asian and Veronica was having lunch. She put her lunch away even though we kept telling her to eat! Gary came out with his stethoscope to diagnose our car. While he was checking out the car, we had such a nice chat with Veronica. Knowing we skipped lunch to come straight to get the car checked, she went to Starbucks and got us a little cheese box. It's so heartwarming to know there are good people in the world! Turns out our car needed an AC compressor. Gary called several places and finally tracked one down and had it delivered. He gave us a time estimate (about 2 hours!) and price estimate. Online it says it can cost over $1k to replace one. We paid under $1k! We went to grab lunch while he worked on our car. On our way out we overheard him say he had to work on another car by 2:00. I looked at my cell and it was 1:18. Even though he had a deadline, he still helped us! I am beyond grateful for both Veronica and Gary. If we lived here, we would definitely get make him our car doctor. read more

I was at the point where I was considering driving around with a 20 lb bag of ice on my lap to prevent heat stroke. After getting turned away by multiple mechanics, Strictly European took our car in on short notice, made tons of calls to track down the part our car needed before everything closed down for the weekend, and got it installed and working. I recently went to this auto repair shop to have my car looked over to make sure everything was in working order because I was concerned about the strong gasoline smell that was permeating to the point where I had to crack my garage door so I wouldn't be asphyxiated by the fumes . I had my classic car towed to this shop to be diagnosed as to what was needed (I even mentioned that it could have been the carburetor). Gary told me everything was fine and only charged me the diagnostic check price. Come to find out I had continuing problems with the fumes and could not get the car registered due to the smoking that was still happening after the car was warmed up. I took it to another mechanic (who specialized in foreign classics) and their check revealed that I DID NEED a new carburetor since all the adjusting in the world could not eliminate the smoke. They currently have my car waiting for the new part........I have finally found a that does work on foreign classics that I feel I can trust. read more

When you own a foreign vehicle, you're accustomed to paying more for maintenance. So when my old Jaguar needed a battery--which turned into an alternator, serpentine belt, pulley, etc., etc.--I was gobsmacked at the cost I received from several mechanics. In this day and age who has extra $12K laying around?! Not me. Long story short, my mechanic daughter recommended I call Gary at Strictly European and boy was that the best call I've ever made to a mechanic! Not only was Gary polite, professional and thorough, he kept me apprised of the process, new issues and recommended solutions. (His wife, Veronica, is awesome too.) When I picked my Jag up, he showed me all the broken parts and why they needed replacement. Every question was answered to my satisfaction.
