They came on time which was great, considering I had few other companies not show. For 145 to come out was a little high,plus he didn't do much. He sprayed for vacuum leaks and that was it. I told him about the alternator wire that was missing,for the price I thought he would have replaced it but he didn't. I also told him about some of the parts that was replaced, he suggested a tune on the car, which I found out I didn't need. The guy I called after he left did the proper checks and found the issue replaced the part no more high idle or check engine light. I would have felt better if he offered to do something since he was only there for 20 minutes I basically gave away a $145. You can probably find better cheaper options. read more

Shane and his team saved us on short notice and a weekend at that. On a recent trip back to SoCal from Lake Powell we had the A/C compressor fail. This happen just outside of Lake Powell. We had to drive in the heat from the lake to Vegas with no A/C. I called Shane and told him our situation. He said no problem, call me when you get to Vegas and we will take care of you. I purchased a 2011 Nissan Leaf last month and I had Shane come out to inspect it. He was the only mechanic I could find that "knew how to inspect electric vehicles" in Las Vegas. At least I thought he knew how to. I test drove the car myself before he inspected it and everything seemed fine. He also test drove it and said the same thing. The only thing I noticed that seemed weird was the brakes, but they ended up being okay. After about a day of driving the car after purchase, I noticed it hardly gets me anywhere. It only goes 30 miles (15 each way) without needing another charge. Sometimes it even gets less than that. This is something Shane should've noticed while while he, the mechanic, was inspecting it. If he knew anything about the mileage range of electric vehicles and their condition, he would've told me that the vehicle had a very low battery capacity. I'm already vey cautious of mechanics, mainly because a large amount of them are in the business of ripping people off and cheating them out of their money. People like Shane show me that I now need to be even more cautious, which is very sad. I'm now forced to sell the car as it doesn't get me anywhere. Even if you're buying a traditional gasoline operated vehicle, keep in mind that Shane isn't as honest as he might seem to be. He gives off this knowledgeable and friendly vibe, but ignore it. It's an act to try to get your money. Do your research and find a decent, loyal, and honest mechanic. That mechanic is not him. read more

The actual price of the work I had done came in 200% over the quote. I was quoted $250 for a thermostat/radiator replacement and then charged $600. I understand being charged a bit more, but this was excessive. I had 3 other quotes at around 300-400, and my car still doesn't run to boot. read more

A few weeks ago, we drove from Los Angeles to Vegas and my buddy's SUV died right in the hotel parking lot upon arrival! While I'm thankful we didn't break down on the road.. this had all the makings of a very stressful & expensive getaway. In search of a solution, I happened upon an ad for "Auto Medic Mobile Mechanic." "Great Idea" I thought, cause it's just what we needed. I also knew that we were in a vulnerable position and at the mercy of the mechanic that arrived. He could easily overcharge us for the 'Kaplootnick' valve we so desperately needed knowing we had very few options that wouldn't cost us the same thing! When the mechanic Shane arrived, he was personable, knowledgeable and answered a ton of questions. He ran a quick diagnostics and confirmed what the problem was and gave us our options. Even though he had the part, he even told us where we could pick up the same part if we wanted to try and get a better price. In this day and age this kind of honesty is rare and refreshing. Shane installed the part, guaranteed his work, charged us a fair price and frankly... saved our trip!! He was so fair and efficient that we forgot all about the car problems. We had a blast while there and drove all the way back to L.A. without a hitch!! So next time before you go to Vegas, stick this guys number in your wallet because if anything goes wrong with your car while you're there, this is the guy you want to show up! i hate to leave bad reviews i really do, However i been having issues with my car not starting, i've replaced my battery, ive gotten an new alternator and my car will still die the fallowing day. so i decided to call these people because i was sick and tired of paying to get my car towed to the mechanics. they are mobile which is nice and i did a lot research and these guys seemed great they have great reviews. I work week days so its hard for me to do anything. I made a reservation for Monday and had my friend wait there for them but they were backed up and couldn't make it, not a problem things happen. So they didn't tell me when they would be able to see my car i had to reach back out to them and have my friend go back and wait around for them. they ended up showing up around 2pm and the mechanic called me and he tells me "so whats the issue on the car?" i told him that sometimes it will start but the past two days my car was dead i couldn't even open my doors. now my uncle re charged my battery the night before and put the battery in this morning and car was still not turning on at all. the mechanic tells me well your car started right up and alternator is supplying the battery with the right amount of voltage ect.. but i'm like "well there has to be something not right for my car to keep doing this every other day. He was very short and was like "well i dont know all looks good here" and was like that will be $160.00 and i have no problem with that, but the fact is that he literally drove to my house stuck my key in the ignition and called it fix! he had no empathy. he wasn't very helpful when trying to ask questions because they are the professionals not me. I am not upset for the fact that i paid them all that money and they really didn't do much, i think i'm more upset because he made me feel like there isn't anything wrong, and was okay with charging me 160 for it. I'm very disappointed in the service and wished that i got more for what i paid for. read more

What ever you do. Do not use Auto Medics. The mechanic named Shane does not know what he is doing. I asked him to replace my thermostat and he replaced my sensor. After completed, my thermostat still did not work. Shane took it upon himself to replace a different item. I had to have Mieneke fix the mess Shane left behind. When I asked him to return the un-needed sensor, he agreed then changed his mind. I was left paying for a part and the labor cost for a repair that was not necessary. Shane professes he is an honest mechanic. Well that is a bunch of B S. Please avoid him at all cost. He doesn't know what he is doing. By the way Shane, I will be suing you. read more
