(From my experience two months ago) I've been coming to this place since they were at their old location. They've always been friendly, honest and excellent at their jobs. My only tiny disappointment comes from my most recent experience: I saw they were offering a Cheesecake Factory coupon for reserved appointments, but nowhere in the email nor on the appointment pages did they say anything about minimum cost required to qualify. I asked them about it and they said the overall cost has to be over $120, whereas they charged me under $90. While I'm glad that I got my maintenance done by a reliable crew with a reasonable price, I'm a bit bummed out by the technicalities. Hope they'd be able to clarify that more in the future.

Cute waiting area -- tricked out with toys, games, candy, and little kids sized chairs. Keurig for the grownups on the left.

David and John are both so polite and helpful, I felt like I could trust them and they were so responsive.

I requested a brake inspection, which was really quick, turned out I had to get my rear brakes changed. They offered to do it the same day for a very reasonable price and less than 3 hours later, my car was ready. Joe has worked on my car for small items like brakes and oil changes all the way up to getting some check engine light issues fixed. Pricing is always great. Brought my car here for a diagnostic thinking the issue was one thing only to find out "no, you don't need that," and saved me a bunch of money I would have likely spent elsewhere. He didn't push me to fix anything that didn't need fixing and pointed out a few things that were old that I might want replaced so I just took all his suggestions because it's a very old car and it needed some extra care. All the five star reviews are well deserved!! Highly recommended.

I am disappointed with this shop. I went after seeing good reviews.Although, I like the customer…read moreservice from owner and the technician. I went in for transmission fluid change earlier in February in my Toyota Camry 2018. I bought OEM Toyota transmission fluid and asked Joe to help do drain and fill. The drain and fill was completed. After that there was a rough driving issues started. I went back to show my car to joe and he drove the car he told me he don't see any issues. I wanted him to check transmission fluid port on if there is low transmission fluid he didn't agree and told me I might be overthinking. I went to different mechanic in April and he checked. I paid $100 to reopen the port for transmission fluid and what we saw was no fluid came out from the primary port. He added 0.5 quarters left. The issues I have had for rough idle and need to have higher RPM on slope went away completely.According to him you have to keep the car running when you drain the fluid and you need to have it at the right temperature he said the drain and fill wasn't done correctly that's why there was still room for fluid. The viscosity of the fluid makes a difference in how much you can fill and drain. He double checked for leakage and there were no leaks either. When I went to joe and asked about don't you have to keep car warm to see if temperature is right? He said you only do it when there is a leak. I don't think Joe knew enough about mechanics of New car. I wasn't overthinking when I went to ask Joe for help and asked to recheck the transmission fluid. I paid $260 for labor only( $160 to Joe and $100 to another mechanic) for same job. It's really absurd. Overall this could have damaged my transmission. I think for future the customer advise should be taken seriously. I know my car well so I know when it's not acting good. I have been driving it from 10 years.

I didn't end up getting the service done at this location because I went over to Firestone to use the $9.99 coupon STILL in California just 2 minutes away. Just wish the "CA" part was on the fine print of the coupon. Hope this was helpful :)

I do not like this pep boys location…read more The first, and most important reason why, is because of how expensive they are. Most of the time I end up not even taking my car here for the service that I'm looking for, because it's so expensive. When I was looking to buy tires? Expensive. Oil changes? Expensive!. Repairs, almost as expensive as the dealership! The whole point of a pep boys is that I'm don't have to pay for dealership prices. So if I have to pay almost as much as I would have to pay the dealership, why would I bring it to pep boys? The people who work here are also not very helpful. It's extremely difficult to get anybody on the phone, it just rings and rings and rings. They're very dismissive, especially of my wife. The few times that we have had work done here she has not had a great experience with either dropping off or picking the vehicle up. So why two stars instead of one? Well, I've never had any issues with the quality of the work that they do. Or the timeliness of the work that they do. So while they are expensive, and the service isn't great, the actual work that they do seems to be fine. So fair is fair.
