I have been taking my CL550 to ASC for years. I bought my Mercedes new and it now has over 200k miles. They have always provided excellent repairs and maintenance and they don't inflate the bills with unneeded items. Today was a great example. Last weekend the transmission suddenly went out without warning. I limped over to an established Mercedes place nearby who told me that the transmission was a total loss and had to be replaced at a cost of $7,500. I had my car towed to ASC. Today I got it back and it's driving great again. The cost from ASC was a tiny fraction of the other quote . Needless to say, I am a customer for life. read more

This place defies all the negative impressions we have about auto repair shops. The environment is not intimidating like most repair shops. I came here for my 2006 Mercedes E350 after reading some reviews. This place is what you are looking for in a repair shop. I have sat in their waiting area and overheard the service manager advise customers to go to the competition if the company cannot do the job for the best price. BE CAREFUL!! WARNING The quality of work provided by Autobahn is HORRIBLE! Yes, they may be cheaper than other services centers, but the quality of work (or lack of quality) ends up costing you in the long run. One recent experience (that is never ending). Months ago, my transmission needed to be replaced. I have to bring the car back 4-5 times before they figured out a faulty transmission was put in the car. They put another transmission in the car, and everything that needed to be repaired was still not fixed. Autohahn had my car for over a month and still brought it back NOT repaired properly. It was then taken in again, they returned it and now my car is in my garage and it does NOT start. They are very nice people, but I could get better quality from a high school auto class. I am now worried that my car is damaged beyond repair. They return it claiming it is fixed and it is not fixed. It would be one thing if I drove it and something broke weeks later. These guys actually call you and or deliver the car and it is actually not repaired. Shocking!! Good luck with this company. Quality of service is significantly lacking!! Note: this is only one experience. Shame on me that the average number of times I normally have to bring my car back on a repair is 2-3 times before it is done right. It was a bad decision on my part to bring it back again, now I am stuck. read more

At home we have a 2008 BMW M3 and a 2010 Mercedes GL 450. Both out of warranty. These cars are expensive to maintain, but Autobahn is sensible lower than the dealers making the pain more manageable. We have done, electrical repairs, mechanical work and regular maintenance. Very reasonable prices and transparent quotes. Highly recommend for your German made car. read more

I have a BMW and I like taking my car here rather than the BMW dealership. The price I pay here is pretty reasonable compared to the dealership. My friends that drive their Mercedes Benz comes here often to get their cars fixed. The Autobahn team specializes in German and other Foreign cars and they are located in Plano. They provide shuttle service to you work and they also have WiFi if you're like me who can work remotely. Autobahn is more preventative and looks at everything about your car before you go to your next service. Before you leave the place, they give you an advice on what to fix on your car and what you should be looking into moving forward. That's how independent shops should do it. I love coming here because the guys are nice and I get to walk to the next shopping plaza to eat Korean food or across the street to go to the bakery nearby to get a treat. I'm glad I found these guys because they've done a great job for a fraction of the price from the dealerships. read more

I'll say it again, Howard is the real deal! Since my first review, I've been back to see Howard a handful of times and love this shop! After I articulate the issue, Howard has been able to diagnose on the spot. He or his guys show me what is happening with my vehicle, so I'm not blindly taking their word for it. The shop is clean and they're efficient and I'm not charged an arm and a leg for services. I don't mind waiting while my oil is changed. Great customer service, no BS and they get the job done. I'm new in Texas and I pick this garage because the reviews and also because they are specialized in European cars, my 325 had lot of small details (liking oil, arms bush, plus other that I didn't knew about ). Howard and Jeff are great they did the a complete review of the car, and give me a fair estimate with a new customer discount. And they delivered a excellent service!! On a Monday after I dropped my child off at myPossibilities, I stopped at a nearby car wash. After giving my car a quick wash and rinse, my engine wouldn't turn over. I walked next door to Autobahn and asked if someone could help me. The office manager immediately went into the garage bay and brought a young man out to look at my car. He found that the battery needed a jump start. He went back to the shop and brought the necessary equipment and advised that I get a new battery. Then he noticed that I had a flat tire too. He offered to air it up in the shop and then noticed that the tire had a bubble in the sidewall. Informing of the danger of driving on it he suggested that I get it replaced where I planned to get the warranty replacement of my battery. The people at this business took their time and attention to help me and would not accept payment for it. I want to thank them for generously helping me. Their willingness to help someone who was not a customer is a very positive reflection of the individuals who work for Autobahn. Plano is fortunate to have a business like Autobahn. read more

Just took my Elantra in today 10/15/15. No appointment needed. Jeff and Howard are easy-going but professional. Addressed my problem right away. Fixed the battery cables, charged my dead battery, and even washed the car at no extra charge. They quoted me $100, but only ended up charging me $45. These guys are too honest.
