It was slipping when downshifting and I could not take it on the highway anymore. After 3 days in their shop and a $500 inspection fee I received a printout saying my radiator cap and coolant hoses were in critical condition and needed immediate replacement. As well as every fluid and other minor easy to perform repairs. When I arrived back at the shop and explained my concerns with the mechanics findings the clerk became quite confrontational. Not wanting to engage in the clerks baiting, I spoke with the mechanic directly and asked him several questions about his findings. When I asked about why the radiator cap and hoses were in immediate need of repairs/replacement specifically asking if there was signs of damage, fraying, leaks or internal damage/flaking of the hose. He told me that there was no damage or leaks either internally or externally but that the hoses and cap appeared old. I then asked about the transmission, expressing that it was the whole reason I brought the vehicle in for inspections in the first place. He simply informed me that he did not inspect the transmission. But that everything seemed to be in working order on his "road test". The clerk then seemed surprised that I elected not to have any of the repairs performed and requested to settle the bill with no further repairs. I didn't get as far as the Safeway, one stoplight away, and the transmissions planetary gears grinding and slipping could still be heard and felt. I will not be returning. SAVE YOURSELF THE TROUBLE, DO NOT USE THIS SHOP.

The only downside was that they didn't see the oil change sticker on the front of our glove box (we had oil changed Just over a month ago at a different business). The other business also screwed up on what they did and it was found when we took car in for repairs. We didn't know that they did an oil change until we got home and were looking at the final invoice. In any event, we will go to Automotive Experts for all future lube and oil changes and other needed repairs/service.

A few years ago we had to move to Washington due being relocated due to work. I've had my SUV for 22 years, it's in good condition and runs well. On this model the vacuum hose can get knocked out of place easily which can cause air to blow on my feet constantly which drives me nuts. Usually I have had to take more time off work to go in and get this fixed because they did not listen to me when I explained about the hose during the initial drop off, but THEY listened and I got it back without any problems at all. They were also able to get me in the next week to fix those other items, one of which was a big repair. I never felt overcharged either as my services ended up being a little less than the estimate. I'm really happy that I found such a great place because even though my SUV is pretty old at this point, I really love it and want to keep it running as long as possible. I'm excited about getting all the new tech perks that come with a new vehicle, but this is my first vehicle that I bought for me, and I still love it and am not ready to let go just yet, and with this place, I know we're in good hands.

Power control module. I have no idea what the heck that is, but it was under $200 total and it fixed a variety of other issues "Old Faithful" had been exhibiting. Fast. Seemed honest. They FIXED THE CAR. And $200 was considerably cheaper than we've paid for everything else auto repair related.

They are a locally owned shop and everyone that works here seem like good, honest, friendly reliable folks. 2. They (specifically Brian) seem responsible enough to quickly reply and address concerns when I had an issue with my vehicle after I got my car back from them. 3. Very thorough in their initial analysis/ inspection/ diagnostic... I'm talking pictures, proof of all that they did with details and recommendations - which I find valuable since most auto shops tend to not disclose much or when they do they try to keep things cryptic. 4. If you are close by, they do give you a ride home or provide a rental car depending on how long they keep your vehicle. Cons: 1. I went in with a check/ service engine light on and it cost me around $200 to diagnose it. Also, they first quoted a price and then increased it by almost $100 when they billed me. However when I pointed this out, they did agree to reduce it back to the original quote. 2. I was informed that there was something critically wrong with the wheel bearing. And to get this replaced cost me a little over $850. I just went ahead with their recommendation. Overall I felt them to be significantly over the higher end of average cost of repair for just about everything. Total bill was a little over $1600. To be fair, I do have a rather old car but it has been maintained very well over the years. 3. The work done seemed good for the most part until that I noticed a metal on metal squeaking on a slightly long trip that I took the day after I got it back from the shop. It felt very unsafe driving my car. I was half expecting something to fall apart on the highway. For such high costs, the QA was not adequately done. That said, when I called them up they did accommodate me immediately and got it resolved quickly. 4. They do take a long time to work on the vehicle. I left my vehicle on a Friday and got it back the following Wednesday. Also, the communication was lacking. Did not hear back when they said they would get back and I had to keep checking in with them. Bottom line, I would recommend this place but go in with the expectation that it will be expensive. Maybe it was my bad experience that I had to take my car back since it wasn't road tested properly but I would not assume this happens to everyone. Cheers!

My spouse likes the owner and I have always thought that they charge way too much and they continually upsell services that aren't needed. Recently, for an oil change, I had to pay $850 for a caliper replacement along with an air filter placement. Totally unnecessary. I talked with the manager and asked them for pictures that he said they took before the service was done. He said yes, we took pictures and that he would send them to me. Well, my spouse did not see any of the pictures during her time there. And the manager never sent me the pictures. To me, it seems pictures were not taken. This is quite deceptive and I want to let people know that this is a very expensive automotive service center that I do not recommend. I believe they take advantage of individuals that don't know anything about cars. What alerted me after the last visit is that they told my spouse that it was pretty dangerous to drive without replacing the calipers. There was no uneven break pad wear. They said the calipers were leaking, but they never sent me the pictures to document this. They said they would but James did not follow through. Please beware. I would stay away from this business.

Found a guy who took a look, it was fuel system had to be flush and a new fuel pump. Now it runs perfectly and the engine and transmission is perfect. Cost was $1,200 instead of 6 to $7,000.00

My ignition works perfectly and they even utilized my AAA discount and they were the ones who recommended Lloyds to me. There were other issues with my car and the fixed my door latch which they fabricated the connectors. Impressive! Then my car didn't run right and so they installed a new Weber and not a copy. They actually suggested Midas, but due to a relationship with National Auto next door, I was turned on to these guys. When I called to inquire about services, they couldn't have been any nicer. Like most auto places, they tried to discourage me from waiting and suggested I leave the car for the day. In order to do that, you either got to give me a loaner, or have enough retail and entertainment for me to be comfortable while I'm in the area. This place is a desert, and a loaner wasn't an option, so I decided to stay. Ironically, the interior was comfortable, not at all what I expected. There was probably room for 8 people to wait comfortably. There was a TV, but it wasn't on and they had bottled water and chips non gratis. They told me book time for my car was 2.5 hour, so I should expect to be there for at least 3. Book time is a joke. For example, if you wash your car, you probably take 30 minutes to rinse, wash, rinse again and dry. That is book time, what it takes the average person to complete a task. A friend of mine used to be a detailer and he could wash and dry a passenger car in about 3 minutes. It's not about rushing, it's about repetition. When you are good at something it doesn't take as long and book time is about charging you more. In this case, they had a flat fee for services but always know what you are dealing with when you choose a mechanic. If it takes them an hour to complete a service, they shouldn't be charging you for 2.5. Long story short, I was there for less than an hour, they completed the service, and I couldn't be more pleased. The level of professionalism, kindness and courtesy are attributes this industry lacks and it was refreshing to experience them today. Again, off what I consider the beaten path, but their strong review profile speaks for itself. I've been driving for 40 years and this is my 3rd alignment. Not a service most people need often, but whatever you need, if these guys offer it, I recommend it.
