I've never had such an amazing experience at an auto shop. I'm a local business owner and I came in for a new battery. Mari ordered it for me and Devon helped me install. The amazing part is, In the cold night Devon diagnosed my business van and helped me realize I needed a new fuse as well. He went under the van, followed every wire/ educated what each means and helped me realize I needed a new fuse to start the van. He not only had a positive attitude, he was determined to help me in my situation. It's hard to find employees like these and I hope he gets recognized more for making the business look great. Don't shop here unless you want the employees talking shit about you behind your back. I came on 1/1/21 around 2:25pm and was walking around the store. Another lady came in and asked the employee a question. After being helped she left the store and the group of male employees proceeded to make fun of the previous lady's physical traits and body weight. They said some pretty awful things and called other guys from the back to join in on their "jokes". I guess they forgot that I was in the store because they got real quiet when they saw me walk out from behind the shelf. Long story short I'm ordering my things online and sending a letter to corporate over the male employees lack of professionalism. Edit 1/22/20 Reach out to corporate twice through their website and still haven't heard back from them in over 3 weeks. I guess they don't care about their employees atrocious behavior. I've been to a couple AutoZones in my life, but this one is definitely one of the best around the area. There's never any lines when I come at all times of the day and the staff has always been helpful and nice. Compared to the one on Lincoln/Brookhurst, this location brings tears to my eyes. The Lincoln location is always a 25 minute wait no matter when you go and annoyingly crowded. It's a 25 minute wait even when it's not crowded. Hate that place. Anyway, parking is decent and it's organized in an orderly fashion. It's clean and they have more computers than that terrible Lincoln location. The reviewers don't know true AutoZone suffering until they've been to the Lincoln location. So anyway, I rather drive the two extra miles to this location than any of the 5 near my house. It's kinda crazy how many AutoZones there are in such close vicinities. read more

Went here to check my trouble code. The lady who helped was nice. Although they didn't really do much else other than plug in their device and ask me what car I had and find my car's problem with their computer. They did help me figure out why my car's check engine light was on for free though, as advertised. They even printed out the page displaying my car's problem for free! The lady also showed me the various prices for the replacement part I would need to clear the check engine light. read more

Getting the vehicle ready for a road trip on a holiday weekend to Las Vegas - Autozone has become my go to guy, if Autozone were a person that is. First WOW moment for me is when I call the location at Newhall and Westminster. I ask if there's a part in stock and he lets me know that they don't have it but where to go for it. He gives me the part number and lets me know how many their systems shows is in inventory at the other location. Fast forward to this location: Though one of their staff didn't come out help switch out the burnt our tail light, while I was taking apart all that you have to, to change out one little old bulb, the staff was carrying things out for other customers to their cars. That's service. The only gripe I have about this place is the parking. Shared with some other popular businesses, and the fact that's coming in on one way lanes, makes it tricky to maneuver around - made even more difficult because of the fireworks booth that took up parking spaces and brought lots of foot traffic in the parking lot. read more

I was on my way to the gym close by, but then I was like, what if my car dies? For the past couple of days, my car's engine was slow to start and I had this feeling my car's battery was going to give out. It has been about 3.5 years since I last changed my car battery. Also, my car's battery was corroded with battery acid due to me not cleaning it..more like once in a blue moon, which will also weaken the battery and ruin it. It may even mean the battery won't be able to recharge itself. There are ways to clean it (googled): baking soda + water, lemon juice, and spray cleaner. It was a little too late for that because the damage was done. I decided to go to Autozone first before hitting the gym. I'm so happy I did. I parked, went inside, and asked them if they could test my battery's charge. Their machine was down, so I was going to go to the other location on Nelson St. As soon as I turned my key in my ignition, my car was dead. Completely dead. So I had to buy a battery...no other choice, but I'm glad I was in front of an Autozone. A nice fellow, David Gonzales, helped me out. I believe he was the manager or perhaps an assistant manager. He was very friendly, knowledgable, and out-going. He took out my old battery (mind you it took forever with all that corrosion) and installed my new battery. I am a happy camper. My car is running great and my battery came with a 3 YR warranty. Here's hoping it won't die right after the warranty expires, but if it does, I know where to come to. read more

My review is based more on the store, and not the service. Hard to judge service when they go through employees faster then I go through women! lol Variety - YES! Price - Reasonable! Quality - Even the cheaper products are durable! Warranty's - Even better! I like to do basic mechanical work on my cars myself (breaks, tune ups, oil changes, etc) You'd be surprised how cheap it is to purchase these products and do them yourself versus paying someone hundreds of dollars! Anyway, they have a life time warranty on break pads for as long as you own your car.... F*CK YEA! So you only have to buy breaks once! Learn how to do breaks yourself, and you'll spend an afternoon and $30-$40. read more
