I started the day picking up my car from the shop and already paying $300 for service and parts. So I wasn't looking to spend more money than I wanted. This autozone definitely helped make my day a whole lot better! I went to get my battery tested/charged. Scott did the review and said he could charge it for me and the process would take 2 hours. At the end I ended up needed a new one and I wasn't surprised as I had alternator issues before and the shop told me I would eventually need a new battery. I wanted to cheapest one with 2 year warranty but they didn't have it. Jacob was kind enough to sell me the 3 year warranty one and gave me a discount for not having the cheaper one :) Scott did the installation and was so helpful! I wish I had cash to tip Scott! This location of AutoZone has definitely changed a negative to a positive. I bought nearly 600 bucks worth of stuff to fix my RV brakes. The lady who helped us order was super thorough and patient as we went item by item. I left with a receipt and they said they'd call when it came in. Sadly, they never called and I didn't call right away, just being patient. The stuff came in and then was sent back so that when I called they said it was all gone even though I paid The next day I went to get my refund and found out from Oscar that he and Jesus, the manager, scrambled to get all my parts back in the store. A feat which they accomplished before I got there, much to my delight. So, despite my initial upset, they pulled off an 11th hour miracle and made me happy again and retained a customer. I have had 2 recent trips to Auto Zone in the last couple of weeks. The first was by chance. I went to O'Reilly Auto Parts across the street because I needed some wiper blades on my car before a big storm. I had just picked this preowned car up recently and had never changed the blades and was having a problem figuring it out. O'Reilly Auto Parts wasn't able to help me put the blades on "after dark". but the big storm was coming in the r next couple of hours and I needed the blades. So I took my business to Auto zone across the road. They had no problem going out and installing the wipers for me in the dark. I'm so thankful. The second visit was today. I noticed the oil was low and I was going to go get an oil change because it's due in 1000 miles, but the wait was too long. So I went to Auto zone to pick up some oil to add. I asked if they can help add the oil, again because I had never added to this car before. They said of course, even though the store was busy and there was a line at the checkout. One of the guys told me the go ahead and wait out in my car and they will come in a minute. No sooner was I outside before he was too. I waited maybe 3 minutes. He added the oil and told me where the brake fluid a land power steering fluid went, for the future. I offered to tip him and he refused the money. I have had terrible experiences with O'Reilly Auto Parts as of late, not just the SA location but the Orange. I'll be going to Auto Zone from now on. read more

Went into this auto zone to get a battery replacement. Auto zone has always replaced the car battery for you for free. I was told by the sales associate Chris that they couldn't replace mine for me since they didn't want to "mess up the strip" I've never had issues getting this service done from autozone till I went to this one. So I called the one on 17th street and they said they could do it and that the people here at grand just didn't want to do it since autozone always offers that service for free. The workers from the 17th street location changed it in 10 minutes. read more

Came into this AutoZone for new rear brakes for my Honda Accord. There was one associate helping folks up front and I was second in line. I had looked up online which ones I was looking for in particular so it was very very easy when I went in. He got my car details, and on his system he showed how many could possibly fit. I asked for the Duralast Gold brakes (great price btw) and he also signed me up for their Rewards program which is awesome. I would have never known until he mentioned it so I really appreciate that. He was super friendly, efficient and fast. That's something that you don't really find in most auto parts stores. A mere 15 mins and I was in and out. I just regret not getting the gentlemans name! We stopped at this location to by a pump adapter for our flat tire. It is a good location right off of the 5fwy and close to the 22 fwy as well. We couldn't find what we were looking for so we asked one of the staff to help us, they did not come out from behind the counter but told us what aisle it was on, we still couldn't find it, so finally the staff member went and looked for the item, we felt like we were imposing and inconveniencing the staffer, wasn't impressed with the service, but on the bright side it had what we were looking for! read more

EXCELLENT Customer service!!!! This place exceeded my expectations. I came to buy a new battery and Raul helped me out he replaced the old one for the new one. My car had some problems already so when the new battery was inserted my car wouldn't turn on, I went back in and Raul came back out to help with no hesitation.He had to jump start my car and in the end I needed up returning the new battery and had Raul put back in the old one. The employees here aren't educated in their line of work they have literally given me wrong info and wrong part 5 times out of 5! That's bad and when they can't find the part they say to check at the dealership and when a customer is asking for help they don't really help they actually are needing guidance and help there selfs for parts and what I am there asking them they're asking me about what the part looks like or what it would be called or ask where the part goes in the vehicle. Shouldn't a parts guy who is there to help me find part supposed to know things like this??? Management really need to offer classes or rehire and make sure there given a test of common since and automotive parts skills. read more

I thought I was the most ignorant person when it came to cars. Today I meet someone more ignorant than myself and he works at this Autozone. We went in to buy charging cables and a battery post & terminal cleaning brush, this guy was almost going to let me buy a motorcycle charger and he didn't even know what the battery cleaner brush was.
