Lovely time celebrating Valentine's here. The restaurant is beautifully and thoughtfully decorated with a warm and cozy vibe. We were seated as soon as we walked in. Our French Onion soup was flavorful, along with the shoestring French fries. We shared the Swedish Meatballs with mashed potatoes and the Chicken Schnitzel that was accompanied with mashed potatoes and vegetables. Overall it was a sweet and warm experience.

What a delightful little surprise. Tucked away in a strip mall deep in the Bel Air hills, this gem is an abundance of charm and hospitality. Parking out front is easy and free. Inside, mood lighting, beautiful tapestries, and natural wood make for an inviting and interesting aura. Not like anything else I've seen in LA. The menu is unique and quality - all rave reviews for the spinach dip, salmon, and lamb. Fun selection of imported wine and beer. We skipped dessert because we were full, but multiple great options! Will go back, maybe for a date or special occasion.

This is a hidden gem in the hills of Bel Air. It's a lovely trek up to their location, in an unsuspecting area but they have something special here. Everything about my experience was above 5 stars! The staff, the chef, the food, the ambiance- it all gels into an incredible place. To my own surprise, the steak was delicious but I fell in love with that falafel salad! But the steak was great, cooked perfectly and flavored with precision and the plates ate very intentional. The only item that didn't reach this high of a level was the tiramisu cake, it wasn't what I originally wanted but it was the next best option. I wish more people would find this place, they deserve to be full everyday and now that they serve breakfast, I need to come back for a second visit!

Beautiful restaurant located directly in my neighborhood! Service here is wonderful, they are so welcoming and gracious. I absolutely love the food here, you can't go wrong with anything on the menu! Their salads are fresh and delicious, I really enjoyed their salmon as well as pastas. The drinks and coffee here are delicious too. Prices are fair, especially considering the quality and attention to detail. Portions are generous, and the food is brought out quickly and presented beautifully. I always love supporting a local business as hard-working as they are here, highly recommended!

What an intimate dinner! Nestled in the Bel Air hills, this locations feels isolated, but it gets busy with both locals, and those that traverse the distance. We tried the Greek Salad, the Antonia Salad, the Viking Kremet Filet, the Skadi Schnitzel, the Swedish Meatballs, the Citrus Miso Salmon, the Meaty Top Pizza, the Apple Pie, and ice creams of Affogato and Darkest Chocolate. Overall, 5 stars! Excellent ambiance, menu options, fresh ingredients, and for the most part great flavors. In terms of particular notes: I definitely enjoyed the Greek Salad over the Antonia. I'm not really a beet person, so when I say that it's decent for being beets, take that to heart. The oranges and the burrata on it were fabulous. If I could eat that Greek Salad every day, I would. The presentation was visually appealing and the dressing was perfect. Out of the entrees, we enjoyed the Viking Kremet Filet. The sauce was a bit flour-y, but there was a nice smoky depth to the meat. It wasn't as tender as filet mignon should be. The Citrus Miso Salmon was a bit on the fishy side, not too bad, though. The citrus miso was layered a bit thick, and it kind of coated the inside of my mouth, but it was nice and flavorful. The Skadi Schnitzel was a nice portion, battered and fried properly. The sauce on it was overpowering. The lemon and caper were very prominent in the sauce, and looking back, the schnitzel sauce probably would have done better with the salmon. There was also a piece of bone at the end of the schnitzel, so be warned if you try to cut through or chew that end piece. The Swedish Meatballs are not your standard fare. Strands of saffron were sprinkled on top of the meatballs. The mix of veal and bison made a fabulous meatball, and the sauce was perfect. The mashed potatoes on this dish tasted slightly different, but better, from the other plates, but maybe it was the sauce that helped. The Meaty Top pizza was good. Nothing spectacular about it, but the sauce was light and again, it had fresh ingredients. Everything we tasted had a comforting earthy essence. With desserts, the apple pie had a crust that texturally bordered on croissant level. The pie filling wasn't overly sweet and was a great wrap up to the meal. The ice creams were pretty good, however, they didn't have most of the flavors available that were on the menu. Our waitress (Hedieh, sorry if I misspelled her name) was wonderful throughout the meal and was knowledgeable about the wine options. We picked a deliciously jammy Georgian red wine. If you are going with 2 or more people, grab a bottle of wine and a few entrees and share the plates. Each one is palate pleasing unique and is good for a shared experience.

We really enjoyed our meal. Completely off the beaten path for us, but well worth the time to come and dine here. We had the filet mignon and a pizza. The pizza has a cauliflower crust which was exactly what we were hoping for. The filet was perfectly cooked and just the right portion. We split the butter cake, which hands down was the best butter cake that we've had. I wouldn't hesitate to return here for another delicious meal.

From the Georgia Couple: We've been in California for a little over a month now, and I have to say -- this has been the best food we've had since we arrived! Everything from the meal to the dessert was absolutely incredible. The food tasted so fresh and full of flavor. Now, I'm not usually a dessert person, but Mr. Amir (the owner) treated us to a complimentary slice of pecan pie, and I have to admit -- it was outstanding! As someone from the South, I know good pecan pie when I taste it, and this one was perfection. The atmosphere was beautiful, the service was top-notch, and the hospitality from Mr. Amir and his wife made the entire experience unforgettable. My wife and I will definitely be coming back for more! Thank you so much from The Shaw's ( We ate the Firecracker Wings, the Swedish Meatballs, the Miso Salmon, the Pistachio Crusted Lamb Chops w/ mint chimichurri, and the Brown Butter Ice Cream w/ Pecan Pie)

Great ambience, and great service they were very nice and welcoming. Food is also high quality and i like that it also looks nice and reminds me of Paris.

I booked this reservation based on the Yelp reviews. We were here for our Valentine's Day dinner, hoping for a nice, quiet and romantic evening and we were not disappointed ! What a charming hidden gem nestled in the hills of Bel-Air. I was a little skeptical based on the location, but that went out the window as soon as we arrived. Very unassuming from the outside - but what an amazing space ! Beautiful ambiance and the staff was beyond excellent. The hostess that evening (I didn't get her name unfortunately) was absolutely spectacular and charming ! The staff was very cool and on their game that night. We had an early dinner so when we arrived we had the place to ourselves for about an hour before the dinner crowd arrived. Amazing menu selection! The BEST Greek salad EVER !!! Presentation and taste - 10/10. Our steaks were cooked to perfection and the wine selection was perfect. What an amazing discovery. We live in the valley but it was absolutely worth the traffic. We will be back, definitely. Thank you for making our Valentine's Day extra special !

My brother and I went to this restaurant this evening. What a wonderful experience the food was exquisite and the waitress was a 10 out of 10. I can highly recommend this restaurant and you should do yourself a favor and visit it in the near future to enjoy not only ambience, but it's well presented and pleasing food

Wonderful food, great ambience! It is absolutely an experience we want to have.

Love seafood and the whole works. I heard they even offer you a bib, to get messy, which I am so down for. Anyway, same thing happened at this restaurant. A confidential envelope was posted on the door and we were not able to get in. Both sides of the doors were locked. Some other mail was on the ground and 2 were inside the restaurant. I don't know what is going on with both Oliva and this Crab House restaurants? It was dark inside as I snooped to see what the place looked like, was not able to see anything, except one side of the restaurant the chairs were placed on top of the tables. Again, either they are going out of business, or sold the restaurant to someone else. We dialed their number, no answer, left a message (twice), and no one called us back! Even until today. What a shame!! Was so looking forward to it. We were there on the 7th of this month at 12 noon. My friend drove all the way from Tarzana so we could have had lunch, but both restaurants let us down..

Everyone was attentive, friendly, and made us feel very welcome. To start I really loved the yellowtail crispy rice. It was one of the best versions I've ever had. The spicy yellowtail was perfectly seasoned, the crispy rice had the ideal texture, and the sauce, ikura, and finishing touches brought everything together beautifully. I also loved that they offered a 50/50 option with Spam crispy rice since that's my husband's favorite, so we both got exactly what we wanted. The tuna poki featured excellent quality fish, although the sauce wasn't my personal favorite. My husband absolutely loved it, though. The dumplings were another highlight and ended up being his favorite dish of the night. You could tell they were made fresh in-house, and the peas added a really nice balance. My only note was that the sauce leaned a little too heavily on the coconut flavor for my taste. For our entrée, we ordered the pan-fried snapper. I completely forgot to take a photo before we started serving ourselves, but it was beautifully cooked. It reminded me a bit of bronzino with its delicate, flaky texture. The fish itself was fantastic, although, similar to a few other dishes, the sauce wasn't quite what I'm used to. The warm rice pudding was also really tasty. My only complaint was that there wasn't enough actual rice pudding compared to all of the toppings because the flavor was so good. For reference, I'm someone who really doesn't enjoy Thai food, while my husband loves it. This isn't Thai food at all, but some of the sauces had coconut-forward flavor profiles that reminded me of flavors I typically don't gravitate toward. Even with that, I still genuinely enjoyed every dish we ordered, which says a lot about how well everything was prepared. There were dishes I'd absolutely order again, and others I'd probably swap out next time simply because there were so many interesting options on the menu. I also appreciated that the menu had plenty of seafood options, which was perfect since I've been trying to eat more fish. Everything we ordered was fresh and high quality. The restaurant itself has a great atmosphere. It's on the smaller side, but it feels cozy rather than cramped. I also think it's a great place to come with a group because the portions are perfect for sharing, making it easy to try a variety of dishes. Overall, we had a great experience and will definitely be back. Next time, I'd love to explore more of the menu because there were so many dishes that caught my eye.

We were able to walk right in and grab a table as the afternoon rush was over. First, it is a cute restaurant with nice ambiance inside. You can also eat outside it looked like, but it was hot so that was not going to be an option. Started with the mini crab cakes and the tuna on crispy rice. The crab cakes had a good amount of crab in them, which was really nice, but they definitely tasted under seasoned. The tuna on crispy rice was great though, topped with avocado and a spicy mayo. Nice crispiness on the outside, soft rice in the middle, good flavor, just a nice bite. For entrees we tried the chimichuri steak sandwich, the French dip and the lobster roll. The lobster roll looks the part but was light on the actual lobster, in our opinions. Felt the bread to everything else ratio was really off, so it feels like mostly bread with some lobster here and there. The chimichuri steak sandwich comes with arugula, gruyere, roasted peppers and grilled shallots and was a decent bite but not overly memorable. The French dip, on the other hand, was really tasty with that au jus and melted cheese. That was the real winner. Overall, nice ambiance, drinks were decent, some misses and some hits. If you go, definitely get the French dip and the tuna of sticky rice, slip that liner roll and the mini crab cakes and up to you on the chimichuri steak sandwich.
