So far, I've tried the Cookie Butter Latte (amazing) and the Cafe Adventurero (both hot and iced) and definitely recommend them! I find the drinks to be consistently delicious, meticulously prepared, and it's important to mention that every barista is very conscientious and courteous as they go about their work. I've been to Aventurero 2 weekends in a row and I just have to say, I'll likely be going week after week. Lots of parking (I'm traumatized by lack of parking in the city). My usual order is a small lavender latte (I like to sip and savor) and a scone (so far, 10/10). I've had their Oreo scone and a citrus type scone. Both delicious, both moist, and perfect size. The customer service is professional and welcoming. The layout and decor is absolutely stunning. So cozy but outdoorsy at the same time. They have books that are up for grabs and they take donations so if you ever feel like trading a book for another this is a perfect place to find your next read. I like coming to Aventurero to read my Bible. Aventurero has become like a getaway from my typical environment. The atmosphere is chill/calm. No hustle and bustle from the mainstream coffee shops. The only suggestion I would make is please let the songs play all the way through lol the other day I was there, "Sabor a mi" was playing and it got switched to another song - I felt like I was left hanging lol other than that, Aventurero is a diamond in the rough. Great spot to post up and get some work done. There are plenty of places to sit, either by yourself or at a big table. I don't see a lot of outlets but I like to come with a fullish battery. If the computer is about to die, I know it's time to go home. There's also a lower seating area with some games and books, looks like a cool spot to catch up with friends. I had the Aventurero latte and a croissant, both good. Next I'd try the lavender latte, I love lavender and not all places have it. They don't carry empanadas anymore but the very friendly gentleman working gave me the name of the bakery they got them from. Plenty of table and lounge space to read, work, study, play cards. They have signs of poetry/open mic. I went with the cookie butter iced latte and it was amazing! Just went back again for another. The baristas are friendly and service was amazing! There aren't many small coffee shops (that I know of) in the area. Looking forward to more visits! read more

Long answer: been trying cafes in the area and didn't like most of them. I go to colossus bakery for the croissants, and then go to Yellow Vase for coffee. Here at Aventurero I can do both. And the atmosphere is hella nice. The staff is super friendly and very accommodating. The interior has a really chill vibe to it, it's cozy. There's a clean couch with board games, puzzles, and a record player. The pastries are all really good. KC recommended the Aventurero and my husband loved it i asked for a Mexican Mocha and it was delicious. The coffee was outstanding. It was definitely dark and rich in flavor. Slowly but surely becoming a regular here. Initially came looking for boba, but this is better. The Cubanos are my favorite. I don't think anyone does espressos like that out here but I'm so glad they do. The atmosphere is really chill and the service is amazing. Also, just had a strawberry matcha scone and it was everything I wanted and more. Just came here to say the jalapeño bagel is absolutely amazing! Staff is always super friendly. The only thing is it's not really baby friendly, which is totally fine. I don't expect a coffee shop to be baby friendly, but some of them are. I have brought my baby in here with no problems.
