The photos speak for themselves. Inedible garbage. Is the pizza maker blind? How does this happen? Trash.

Ordered on DoorDash. First saw it as it is one of the only places open late night. Packaging was good. Pizza can feed about 2-3 depending on how hungry you are. The funnel cake bombs were indeed bomb!! That fig jam complements them well.

We recently visited Philadelphia. We went to a concert at citizens bank park. We wanted to get "Philly cheesesteaks" and I researched locations that were delicious and convenient to the venue. With much research Avenue steakhouse for the win. We had no problem parking, it was VERY close to all the sports venues. They made all the food to order so it did take about 20 minutes. I hope you don't have to go to the bathroom because there is NO bathroom at all. We took our sandwiches to go and also got a pizza. We tailgated and I forgot to take pictures of the food.. but they were delicious if you want a Philadelphia style cheesesteak with great bread this place will satisfy that.. the pizza was mid

This was the first place we stopped off to try a Philly cheesesteak when we got to Philadelphia. It was amazing. I will be honest with sort of scared to eat there because it didn't look like it was in the greatest of areas, but it was excellent food loved that it was just outside. Very casual. Got to watch the game parking was easy and the customer service was good. We tried a couple different places with Philly cheesesteaks and this was our favorite.

Great sidewalk cafe with various types of cheese steak meats on offer. Somehow, there's even a big-sceeen television for patrons to watch. The ordering process is all computerized, with tablets on site, and I suppose you can order on your own using other methods and simply pick up your order. Will hit this place up if I find myself in Philadelphia again.

Food: the taste honestly wasn't bad; the meat was a bit over cooked but it was seasoned. Presentation could better, but it's not the end of the world. Its Build Your Own and you get charged for every topping. I opt in for lettuce, raw onions, and tomato. Service: this what lowers the score. They guy upfront doesn't acknowledge people or should I say he picks and chooses whom to give attention. Better put the girl up front since she has a better attitude. Price: reasonable. This burger was 8 something. Location: not hard to find parkings and they have outdoor seatings.

Solid spot in South Philly. Obviously plenty of great cheesesteak spots in the area, and this one is not to be slept on. Great option after a game, especially. I come back to the area of my childhood a couple of times a year. Always for Phillies or Birds games. Avenue Steaks is a great spot that doesn't close. There are other 24/7 spots, but this is the one to choose. Get the Big Ave. Extra meat, extra Cooper Sharp. Get the roll scooped, to cut the bread ratio. They use Sarcone's rolls for these, which never fail. Rarely a wait, and there's a seated & covered patio area. Great outdoor ambiance.

    Pizza Cheesesteak

just forced my way thru one of the worst pizzas I ever ate in my life! dry, flavorless and hard! I also ordered a plain slice of cheesecake, why does it have powdered sugar?! It was decent tho

Needed a late night cheesesteak on the way home from AC. I decided to give a newer place a shot. What this place has going for it is that it's well lit and clean. It also has other food like pizza. The choices are numerous here. But I was focused on the cheesesteak. And I'm calling it just ok. Nothing terribly wrong with it. They use a good Liscio's roll. They offer Cooper Sharp and cook it well into the meat. But I thought they left the meat a little overdone. The cheese kind of brings all the flavor and moistness of the sandwich. And that's not how you do it. It's ok in a pinch.

This place is on the corner of Oregon and Juniper. Very clean and bright with nice seating area. Condiments and napkins are available on the counter. French fries is really good. It has a nice crisp, not soggy, and not burnt. Pepperoni pizza has nice presentation. The pizza isn't the Neapolitan kind with the marblings and puffy crust. It's a NY style pizza. However, the crust is perfect as it has good chewiness, not too hard. Good amount of pepperoni too.

On the menu: Old School Onions. What are they?

Old School Onions are just yellow onions that we sauté but we don't dice them like cheesesteak onions, we cut them in strips like you would see in a scallopine dish.

The hype seems real and I did really enjoy it. The freshly baked roll with sesame seeds was also nice and really held the sandwich together. We came around 11:30am on a Wednesday and there was hardly any line to order. They took my name and phone number and we paid when the order was ready, which wasn't long at all either. They are takeout only so we walked over to the nearby Cianfrani Park and there were lots of benches in the shade to enjoy. If I had one complaint it's just that the prices there are a little expensive overall. This was the most expensive cheese steak that I've gotten so far during my trip. It came out to $21.33 for just the cheese steak. I would definitely come back here again for another cheese steak if I'm ever in Philadelphia.

I order the father Danny which is their meatball sub. Was informed it was 30 minutes. Fine. 40 minutes later my pre teen is getting antsy. Then I'm informed just a little while longer. Meanwhile I'm witnessing the chef walk out the door, go down the street, and return with fresh broccoli rabe from one of the vendors. Now I'm considering walking out. And then the sandwich arrives. It is a glorious sandwich with perfect textured meatballs, a tangy red sauce, ricotta and mozzarella and pesto. My son's rage vanished immediately. This is the best hands down meatball sandwich I ever had. Everything was on point. Meatball itself was not mealy or super dense, just the perfect bite. One sandwich at $16 was massive enough to where the both of us had to take home leftovers (which we are eating right now). Point being is that the sandwiches are to die for. We got an Olde Italian to split since we were going to Reading Terminal Market right after. How was the hoagie? Delicious! The Olde Italian comes on the best bread in the land IMO (Sarcones...seeded roll...you just cant beat it!). So crusty and great texture. This sandwich had all the goodies on it including proscuitto, capicola and sopressata. They have a couple of vegan options and GF rolls for extra $$. The staff was more than happy to give recommendations and their favs. My first lunch was The Eye - $15 Ribeye steak, Cooper Sharp American, fried onions came on a seeded Liscio's roll. If you enjoy the somewhat newer Cooper sharp style that's out there you'll like theirs. The Cooper sharp was gooey, mixed in well with the meat and on the heavier side. The ribeye was thin cut, delicious and the portion was pretty hefty. Second visit I went with - The Nad - $15 Chicken cutlet, fresh mozzarella, prosciutto, arugula, Mike's Hot Honey that came on an unseeded Liscio's roll. The portion size was good, chicken was fresh with good breading, the hot honey was a tad on the heavy side, but the flavors all came together pretty good on this one. Sweet, salty, light bitterness from the arugula and some heat from the hot honey. I added Thin Cut Idaho fries to make it a combo for $3 extra and I have to say they were delicious. They smelled like McD's and tasted similar. They are cash only, but have an ATM on site. You can use a card if you order online. The one bathroom they have was pretty clean and organized. I will certainly stop back for a visit if I'm in the area to try out more of their menu. Thanks guys!
