Got a Bogo, which means two for one pepperoni pizza 20 inch delicious. Moved out here recently and have had it a few times in Elgin and a few times in Austin aviator Pizza location very good pizza thank you.

***disclaimer*** Yes, I ate in Elgin and it wasn't BBQ. A 1st in over 30yrs. A risky move, but with absolutely NO regrets! This beautiful little hidden gym is tucked away behind a shell gas station. BLUF: Great pizza, great atmosphere, good beer selection. Dog and VET friendly. The plethora of selections was daunting. I bellied up to the counter and was so NOT prepared given that people were behind me and salivating waiting to take me out with a pizza pan had I not ordered any faster. I hastily ordered 1/2 and 1/2 ... I asked for their "meat lovers" and shared the pan with a proteinless (I'll get kicked out of Elgin if said to loud) Goat Cheese, garlic, and Sirachi Roasted Brussel sprouts on marinara. I also ordered their Buffalo Wings. My unruly Dog was acting a fool unexpectedly and uncharacteristically... I think he senses the urgency, but they had a jar of pet treats right at the counter! I promptly ordered a Hazy IPA and made my way to my table drooling at each pizza I passed on the way. Pizza was out fast! The meat lovers consisted of pepperoni, Sausage, Canadian Bacon, and bacon. ...I should have made a video because the bacon CRUNCHED when I bit into the slice! It was delicious. Dough report ..so/so. It didn't have the bite of a hand tossed pizza. It was more like a thin version of Via 313, but not that good. It was basically bread and not glutenized hand worked pizza dough. None-the-less, it was good. If only there was some protein that matched up with the goat cheese and Brussel sprouts! That would have put it over the top. That veggie half of the pizza was so good! Generous toppings and so much flavor. Service was super friendly, and attentive, willing to let you sample any beer on tap you want. The wings were deceiving. They looked like they would be soggy, but they were crisp. If you like your wings drowning in sauce, you better ask for it. They looked naked but there was enough sauce to qualify them as buffalo. I loved that they were not over cooked and were big juicy mouth watering pieces of wings that you might have thought came from a turkey based on their size. I'll be back and will have more pics coming soon! Definitely a good option in Elgin if you are searching for something other than BBQ (sacrilege).

Had a great time at Aviator Pizza! After a long day of moving we decided to stop in here to get some early dinner. Overall we had a very nice time and the food was delicious. We ordered the lazy goat pizza and the rosemary, tomato and mozzarella focaccia bread sticks. Both were piping hot and delicious. We loved the breadsticks in particular. We also got two draught beers that were both great. The service was excellent the cashier, didn't catch his name unfortunately, came over to make sure we were enjoying our meal and did a great job keeping the restaurant clean. He was also super nice. The inside of this place is very cute! They have nice bathrooms and I like the log cabin vibe they're going for. We had an excellent time and will for sure be back!

Searched open restaurants on a Monday night in Bastrop County and happened upon this gem. Appears like a corporation but actually has the small town family feel. Pizza was delicious, ranch was on par and portions were perfect. I think we found our new pizza place in area.

Only thing to say is WOW! Been eating Aviator for a while now. First time at the OG Elgin store and their food slaps so good! Had the Chicken Alfredo, BBQ Wings and Meatball grinder! Alfredo is like nothing I've had before and I'm in love! Crispy wings and grinder were on point too! Hats off to Thomas and his amazing staff! I hope Yelp doesn't remove my review again! Sad they do this! No touching!!!!

While on a trip to Elgin, decided to give Aviator Pizza a try. Best thing about the whole experience was that it wasn't busy despite being Saturday around dinner time. We ordered an 18' inch cheese pizza, Caesar salad and baked hot and spicy wings. The pizza was better than expected and I loved the crust. The texture on the wings was weird and unappealing, but they tasted great. The salad was not tossed and I am not a fan of tomatoes on a Caesar salad, but the dressing was decent. We were starving, so I didn't remember to take pictures of the wings and pizza until we had already started eating. But better late than never. My kids liked it a lot, so we'll be checking out the Mueller location soon.

We don't really go to often, so I feel I need to chime in when we do....Place was actually pretty busy and usually the wait can be a bit, but this round they had them pies flyin out the oven. We always stick with the same pies...Wife rolls 4 cheese with pepperoni, and Im a Major Tom or Ground Control....they did offer a new Focaccia bread sticks that comes with goat cheese, or we just missed the option everytime we went...and its a must have for us moving forward. Best pie in the area for us.

This is our go-to pizza place! We drive 15 miles from Bastrop every Sunday to enjoy a mix of pizza, pasta, and salads. The food is always delicious and consistent! The greenbelt salad is my favorite - I enjoy it with ham instead of chicken and the Cabernet vinegrette and toasted pecans are the perfect toppers. As good as the food is, the service is even better. Thomas and Ashley always welcome us as soon as we walk in the door and make sure we are happy with our meal. The Aviator crew is like extended family and make us look forward to our next visit. read more

This place is great!!! Location is right off of Hwy 290. There is a huge selection of pizza and beer. They have a small selection of pasta/appetizer/dessert. They also have lunch specials from 12pm-3pm. Food: - Ordered the parmesan breadsticks. They were delicious. Tasted like there was some breading on it like when you make fried chicken. Very crunchy. - Major Tom pizza was delicious. Plenty of sauce. - Pepperoni & Basil was also good. - Cinnamon sticks were delicious as well The bread is so fluffy and warm. I love the fluffiness of he dough. So amazing!!! Drinks: - The Honey Cider was pretty good. Cost: About $8-9 for a small pizza. About $12-14 for a medium pizza. Lunch specials is about $9 for a small pizza and drink or $13 for a medium pizza and drink. Ambience: - Wooden benches - Plenty of TVs - Clean up after yourself, They bring all orders to your table, & the takeout boxes/napkins/utensils/seasonings are all self-serve. We have been eating at Aviators Pizza & Brew Company nearly every Sunday for many years. The food is consistently very good and I'm convinced it is because of Thomas the manager. Even though there has been many different workers, he has been able to maintain the the quality and kept us coming back, year after year. Our kids love the pizza and we do too, even though we have ordered many of their other menu items. Excellent salads, delicious spaghetti and meatballs, and great lasagna are a few of my personal favorites. Thomas always finds time to visit our table as well as the other patrons, even when they are very busy. He is always asking folks how everything is and he's genuinely looking for ways to improve. I really appreciate his efforts and I'm always impressed and never disappointed. Thank you Thomas and crew! read more

Visited this restaurant for dinner today and the scenery/environment is beautiful for a restaurant next to a gas station on a highway. The pizza was freshly made and was very good. It wasn't amazing but it was good. I may go back but not sure. I had the Flying Garlic Pizza I think there was not enough chicken and the garlic was everywhere a little too much. read more

Not a family restaurant, the food took about an hour for 2 small uncustomized pizzas, my 1 year old baby was being loud and restless after waiting and the cashier came and told me "y'all need to control the volume of that". THAT! Maybe if you want to have a slow paced date night without kids come here but definitely Don't bring the family here. read more

Awesome food, amazingly nice staff!! It's rare you feel genuinely appreciated or cared about, & I can honestly say the young man working at the counter tonight was a genuine guy. Really made us feel welcome. We will definitely be back. Nice beer selection too! We had the fettuccine & spaghetti marinara. Fettuccini was very cheesy. I liked it, wife doesn't like a lot of cheese, so if you're not into cheesy pasta, don't get that! Spaghetti was sweet, & I actually loved it. They give you a double-sided garlic bread about 8 inches long. Soooo good!! Lots of butter & garlic the way you would expect garlic bread should be! We also tried the cinnamon bread dessert. The food is decent but very overpriced. IDK if it's Elgin or what the deal is. You can never get a hold of the owners if there's an issue. The staff says they live out of State. Stopped by here based on the reviews. Was wondering how good could it be, since it was next to a gas station. It was FANTASTIC! We shared a medium meat pizza. The amount of toppings on the pizza was incredible! Crust was perfect, and the sauce was sweet. I had the Ace Perry Cider, on draft! Very dog friendly. They brought out treats to the dog we had on the porch outside. Highly recommend, can't wait to go back! read more

Stopped in here after having some BBQ just to have some beer. So this rating is strictly for the beer and decor. The infamous hefeweizen was pretty good and the outside seating was limited and fairly noisy (traffic), but was adequate. I would definitely stop in here again on my way through or as good meeting spot for family that lives in Houston. Next time I would like to try the pizza, it looked delicious. read more

If you think this is good pizza I'm a tad worried for you. The crust tastes just like a big, dry cracker. Gummy, bland cheese. Tried this place twice and wanted to like it but couldn't. Come for the beer, they usually have a nice selection. Nice staff too. read more

At Aviator Pizza & Brew Company we specialize in hand-tossed pizzas made from scratch daily. We're different from ordinary pizza chains. We use fresh local ingredients and have specialty pizzas like The Greek, Chicken Curry, Spinach & Artichoke, Buffalo Chicken, and Peperoni & Basil to mention a few. We never use preservatives! We also have 15 craft beers on tap, most of which are brewed locally in Austin. Our wine selection is also growing to include local Cabernet Sauvignons, Merlots, and Chardonnays all served by the glass! Simply put we really enjoy what we do and want to share it with you!

Our favorite beers were the Dube Moon (a play on Blue Moon, served with a fresh orange slice and everything) as well as the Wolf Bock (very toasty and malty perfect for the colder months). There is a large food menu that is made in house. We ordered the Green Chili Cheeseburger that was delicious and evoked memories of happy backyard celebrations with the Green Chili Mac and Cheese side(I could eat a whole bucket of this!), and it comes with a pickle. We then headed over to the winery building which has lots of homemade items and food products to stuff your stockings for the holidays. We tried a create your own flight of 4 different wines and learned a lot about the area and how they make everything. The wines were more sweet and light than we usually drink, but I'm sure that appeals to more people. The drive out is very far, but there are a decent amount of signs along the way. It's a great wide space to bring your dog or kids. There are 2 very well behaved and friendly Australian Shepards of the owners that roam around. One sat with us for a while, so cute! There are a few large, clear tvs and that day they had a few football games playing that day with a reasonable volume. They have an amazing stage setup and live music every week. This would be a wonderful place to use for a large event. They have large, clean bathrooms and tons of parking. We'll definitely be back to try rotating beers and just purely because of the service and how welcome we were made to feel.

The Italian grinder sandwich on a simple sourdough hoagie was a flavor explosion, with layers of salami, pit-smoked ham, house pepperoni, mozzarella, lettuce, roma tomato, red onion, mayonnaise, mustard, and Italian dressing. The combination was not only mouthwatering but perfectly balanced. The Pit Smoked Potato Salad as my chosen side complemented the sandwich impeccably. Each bite was a savory journey, leaving me eager to explore more of their menu. The lunch special is undeniably a great deal for the quality and quantity of the meal. I must also commend the top-notch service provided by Thomas Lopez. His culinary expertise shone in the kitchen, and his talent extended beyond as he skillfully captured a fantastic photo of our lunch date. Aviators is great. They also have an amazing opportunity to monopolize finer dining in Elgin. My only complaints is that their staff have a tendency to get confused when you come in and explain you're vegetarian. They are one of the only places in town anyone who needs veg options can go for a decent meal. They are also really slow. If you want to pick up a to go order of anything, call ahead half an hour on a slow day and call an hour before you need it on a busy night. If you are planning on stopping in, this place isn't a quick sit down and get your food type place, so be weary of that. That being said, the food is amazing, and they are quick to remedy any mistakes. The staff are awesome. Wish the food would come out a bit faster though. read more

This was my second visit to Aviator's Pizza, and it will not be my last. There are not many places to eat in Elgin, and Aviator's is a pleasant break from the same chain food here. We had an order of BBQ wings, cheese bread and a pizza. The wings were meaty and cooked properly. My only criticism here is that I like my wings swimming in sauce and these were a little less covered than I prefer, but they were still good. The pizza and bread sticks were fresh and tasty. We had a new server that made a mistake with our order, and to make it right the kitchen sent out a complimentary dessert pizza. All in all very happy with the meal! read more

Aviators is my go to place! It's small and has ambient lighting. The game is always on and the 3 Stooges! They have amazing salads that are huge so there is always enough to share. The pizza is a little pricey but it's a million times better than the chain restaurants. The staff is awesome and the owners are very approachable and friendly. They have 16 beers on tap, most of which are locally brewed in Texas. They offer tastings before you commit to a glass.
