This business charged over $38 to starch 2 pairs of jeans. And of course, there was no price transparency, so we had no idea it would be so astronomical !!! Then, they didn't even starch them correctly!! Instead of starching them down the middle, they just pressed them at the seams. No cowboy wears his jeans like that!! How utterly embarrassing that this is a dry cleaner in Texas who has no idea what they're doing. SMH. Do better! read more

I don't know where the reported smiles and great service was at. When I entered the location on Hillcrest, service was exceptionally sad. Two workers did not bother to greet me or stop what they were doing to do their job. No biggie- I saw the kiosk and figured a mute screen with beeps would be warmer in service than the apathetic workers. Spent $249 for approximately 7 garments. This place does not deserve your business. Take it elsewhere. read more

Do NOT use this company!!! My wife dropped our clothes. It was our first time there. I asked for my shirts to be laundered, not dry cleaned. They dry cleaned all my shirts and charged me $10.44 for some of my shirts and $18.77 for others and categorized as blouses! We had a total of approximately 25 garments and they charged me $428! When I called the store to complain, they told me to call the main office. We left 3 messages over a week time frame before they called back. When they did, they said that they would give me almost a full refund and to give them a day or so to investigate. We had to call back no less than 5 times only to be told that they would offer me a $100 credit next time. Are you kidding me? I never want to come back to your place. Why would I want a $100 store credit? A bunch of thieves. read more

I travel for work and when I come to Dallas I can always depend on Avon dry cleaners to help me with anything I need. They always go above and beyond, they have a reasonable prices and everyone who works there is exceptionally friendly and helpful. They treat my clothing with care it's always nicely returned to me. In the off chance that a delivery is missed or my order is delayed the staff goes out of their way to help me get my clothes in an appropriate time frame. You will never find a better dry cleaners! I've been a customer for 12 years, and they always do a superb job on every kind of garment. If you have any concerns, they will re-clean the garment for free. Recently I showed up late, after closing time, but the manager Steve saw me and opened the back door to take my stuff. Avon Cleaners did an excellent job on my daughters long, paper white, delicate formal dress. Heavily stained around arms and neckline from her recent spray tan were completely gone when I picked up. The dress looks brand new! They also beautifully hung the dress for storage The dry cleaning total was less than $40 for a long, three-layer dress that I thought was ruined. I have never been charged this much for normal, regular dry cleaning in my life. I was concerned at drop off because no prices were listed and no receipt was provided to verify the number and type of items I dropped off. The bill was roughly double what I expected. I could have had all of the clothes altered and dry cleaned at my old cleaners and still had money left over. Never again. Tried to support a neighborhood business. The person working there told me "things are more expensive in the Park Cities". Last I checked Chik-fil-A and Subway don't charge triple in the Park Cities. read more

I recently thought I had ruined a dress as two other cleaners said that it could not be cleaned and restored. Avon did a fabulous job at cleaning the expensive dress that I thought I had to replace. It was about $20 however the dress would have been over $400 to replace. Avon has technicians that know what they are doing which is not the case for most dry cleaners. I will only take my clothes to Avon from now on!! read more

My husband and I have been going to Avon Cleaners on Hillcrest for over 10 years. We moved to Montana a year ago and come back to dallas every 1 to 2 months. I bring our laundry/dry cleaning to have it done at Avon at each trip. Steve and the girls at Avon are always accommodating and work hard to provide excellent service.
