I had my wedding dress cleaned in another city many years ago and it was stored in a hanging bag. I recently got it out to discover the orange "foam" padding on the hanger had disintegrated, leaving orange debris all over my dress. I brought it to Mr. Clean, and Zubi took the time to look over the dress and tell me it should be just fine with no staining if I just got rid of the foam debris (shaking it out or mini-vacuum, etc.) I SO appreciated her honest recommendation and integrity in not charging me over $100 to clean a dress that didn't really need cleaning. So I was definitely a complete dodo for getting Cane Rosso pizza sauce over my peacoat (at least I had yummy pizza?). But THANK GOODNESS for Mr. Clean Cleaners for giving me back my peacoat in its original, pristine condition!! (Pictures included in review) Tucked in a sleepy looking shopping plaza, Mr. Clean Cleaners will probably have me as a repeat customer. Given that I've only been once, I'm not ready to commit to 5 stars yet, but I'm pretty darn impressed with their service on my first visit. My peacoat was ready for pickup the next day, so it was a quick turnaround. The employees I interacted with were very nice and honest as well. They gave me a quote of ~$12 for dry cleaning my coat, and that's what I ended up paying. Pick up process is also a cinch - you're in and out in minutes if you have your ticket in hand. My only gripe is the hours, but that's only because my job has me working until late, so it's hard to stop by. Though I do think their current hours are reasonable enough for the average clientele. Will definitely bring more clothes here for my dry cleaning needs now that I've found this place! :) read more

I needed a long-sleeved shirt cleaned because it had stains on it. It also was missing a lower button. I took it to Mr. Clean Cleaners on Monday. By Thursday, they had the shirt cleaned with all the stains gone. They also sewed a new button as well. I believe it was worth the price, which was under $5. I will use this service in the future for my cleaning needs. read more

These guys go above and beyond for their customers! My husband needed two pairs of shorts hemmed and we were headed out of town. Not only did they make it happen on short notice, they got it done ahead of schedule! Everyone is always so pleasant and helpful. I've been patronizing Mr Clean since they opened in Park Forest. They're under different management now than when they opened, but wasn't long before the new managers knew my name and my expectations. All the employees have always acted glad to see me; it feels a bit like visiting family when I go in. Their service is outstanding; they are fast getting my order for pick-up, and the price is reasonable. From uniforms to sweaters, everything comes out looking great and the price is very inexpensive. Best of all is their service. They know everyone by face and have your account ready when you walk in. So. I wish I had read the reviews. Because within a matter of 3 months my brother in law had 2 shirts ruined, my mother in law 1 shirt ruined, and to top it off I myself had a $100 pair of pants ruined here. The cleaners of course claimed that it was like that when we brought it in on all 4 different occasions. The sad part is, when asking them to make it right they had the audacity to say that's and my extended family had a problem. As though each one of us were purposely ripping our clothing and taking them to the cleaners to get clean (which I assure you we do not). I couldn't believe it. I don't normally take bedding to the dry cleaner but these sheets are for my guest room and thought I'd have nice crisp sheets for my guests. I dropped off 2 pillow cases, 2 fitted sheets and 4 flat sheets..... $75!!!! Talk about taken to the cleaners. I have received a couple of responses from this business - one is below: "I did review the tape again and nothing was said about any special attention about the sweater. The only thing said was the name and phone number which is required for a new account. She even went as far as putting a yellow tag on the sweater which states "defective before cleaning" which is standard procedure if we see if the garment is damaged. The lady that was working just stated and facts and I would have handled the situation the exact same way. I respect your views but it's not reality. Sorry" This response is untrue! The tag on the sweater was delicate! I still have the tag on the sweater! The business obviously doesn't care to have new customers and does a terrible job! His response was accusatory and rude. Love this place. They are always so friendly and helpful. Never had any issues with my garments and the service is unbeatable. I recently moved a couple miles away and I thought that I would go to a new spot, (cleaners are everywhere right?) , but this place made me feel like I was lucky to come in there and there was no customer service at all!! Needless to say right then I grabbed all of my stuff and simply said that I think that I will just go somewhere else. Mr clean cleaners? Hmmm more like mr ruin your clothes and blame you. It's incredible to me that in this day and age someone can't just take responsibility for their actions and make it right. Instead I'm the guy that brought in torn up pants to get cleaned... because that makes sense to make a long story short, don't go here unless you enjoy clean clothes that are either shredded or torn. Not sure how they get the clothes torn, maybe they have a pitbull in the back that loads the machines? Either way they are the worst. read more

I decided to try after reading the reviews. I live closer to Addison and Prestonwood area, but the closer cleaners do marginal work for much higher prices. The staff here was very nice and took care of my items in a timely manner. I had a formal dress, a king size duvet cover, and several curtain panels (8) cleaned. The price was GREAT for the dress (less than $20) and duvet cover (less than $20), but OUTRAGEOUS for the curtains (greater than $120). It was more than I paid for the curtains when initially purchased...but I must admit they do look great! Everything does. And it was my fault for not double checking the price ahead of time. I would definitely recommend this cleaners for everyday items, but will look elsewhere for "specialty" items. read more

When I picked them up, the charge was so high, I was shocked. I should have asked price before hand, but I wasn't expecting to get railroaded.
