Avon Grill serves the people who work on the lot or guests and has a full line of quick serve foods such as tacos, pastries and even soft serve. They serve both breakfast and lunch. Order by going up to the order window, pay, and they'll give you a receipt with a number on it. They'll call your number out on the speaker when your order is ready. They also make a great cold brew float, but the darn thing costs almost $10. You have to buy the cold brew and ask them to add the vanilla soft serve into it. It's delicious but a little pricy. I've eaten here before and everything was great but this time I had a bad experience with the person taking my order. He seemed to be in a bad mood. I didn't greet me with a hello or smile. It wasn't busy so I'm not sure what his problem was. I saw kambucha drink on the menu but I didn't realize they had more than one drink so I when I asked for the drink he just stared at me for a few seconds and then said which one. I remember the word before it which was kevita. So I told him Kevita. He then said. That's not a flavor, that's the brand with a upset look on his face. I then had to ask him what flavors they had and he finally told me the two they had. When he knew that I didn't know what they had he should have told me right away what flavors he had. I asked him which one he recommended and he said he didn't like either flavor. He showed no empathy. He never said thanks after I placed my order and when my food was ready he stepped away and let the chef bring my order. The chef was very polite and interacted appropriately. I will avoid Josh in the future if he can't have a better attitude, it's customers. The chili dog was good. read more

The Avon street grill has really stepped up their game since their renovation! As a firefighter at Warner Bros I've been going there often when I'm on the lot. I would with out a doubt the best thing served here are the carne asada fries! The game changer here is that they use waffle fries instead of normal fries. The waffle fries are great for scoping up the big chucks of asada. There's also daily specials that are always worth a look too! read more

This place is so delicious. And the staff is just so pro and friendly. I have to give a huge shout out to Joel who works here, he is absolutely the bees knees! Eager to please and can recommend so many yummy things! He talked me into a cinnamon roll, a few popsicles and some yummy peach cake. Which I gobbled up, and I don't even really have a sweet tooth! A lot of my friends kept going back for the paninis and they just raved and raved about them! I would try one of everything! Five Stars! It was1pm, and they had already ran out of a simple item. Not wanting to spend $7 on two tacos, I got a chicken ciabatta sandwich. The chicken was dry, the bread was gross, there was barely enough meat to cover the bread, the portion was extremely small and the veggies on it left a lot to be desired. I may have had the best Tuna Melt Sandwich in a long time and in Southern California. My past tuna melts in all of Southern California has always been a range of dry disappointments and overdone celery bits as if it's supposed to give me some Americana Authenticity. That's some Hollywood Movie Magic Right there, A Colorado Tuna Melt made in Santa Monica for $20. The thing is you won't see the Tuna Melt Sandwich in their menu display. It's one of a few entrees they have in their "secret menu". I just found that out yesterday on the lot with a studio tour employee while working on Young Sheldon. I can't remember what else they have in their "secret menus". Perhaps the Turkey and Rye or Pastrami sandwiches. It also comes with a Shake, though I opted for iced tea. That Tuna Melt Sandwich. Was sooooo good. Smothered in butter, toasted on the grill with cheddar and tuna. Hot and Ready with the Fries (they don't offer onion rings that day). How good was it? The Flies were swarming over my sandwich. In the past, they would be an annoyance. In today's dystopian horror of processed mutant... I mean, GMO-based foods, Flies salivating over my lunch is an excellent sign of good and natural food. Spicy Hot!!! For those of you that have access to the Warner Brothers lot in Burbank and find yourself hungry after 3pm but before 5pm, you should try the Avon Street Grill. One of the last resorts for food here on the lot after the Commissary closes at 3, Avon Street Grill has a more than adequate selection of American and Mexican eats. I've tried most everything, from the grilled chicken salad to the cheeseburger to the turkey sandwich. All flavorful, portioned well and priced fairly. I always see ladies ordering the yogurt, so the yogurt must be pretty good too!!! What prompted me to write this review was the Baja tacos. Hot diggidy damn. Good as fuck. I usually get the two taco meal and get one chicken and one beef...the best of both worlds. Served on corn torillas and garnished with all sorts of good stuff, the tacos rock. If you get a chance try them out...you wont be disappointed. read more

The salads & hamburgers are nicely sized, & the tacos taste more authentic than you'd expect. Of course you need access to the WB lot to eat here, but if you find yourself on the lot & want ice cream, the frozen yogurt here is GREAT. If you want the chocolate fro-yo, they always run out by noon, so it's best to buy it in the morning & stick it in an office freezer until lunch. read more

With all of the layoffs and restructuring going on - this outfit should've made the top 5. Go and try their breakfast burrito as I did and bite into a soggy, tasteless sponge-like mess. Here's my advice, and it's a life lesson too: take pride in what you do. Whether it's running the studio or making a burrito. Don't just scramble some eggs with unseasoned salsa and wrap that mess around a tortilla. How about throwing in a fresh avocado? How about seasoning the eggs (salt and pepper can do amazing things)? I love this place. Not gonna lie. Though it's not as healthy as the commissary at the WB lot, the food is tasty (chili cheese ANYTHING, tacos, fro-yo) and it's open later (believe me, this place closing at 5pm is game-changing compared to the 3pm closing of the cafeteria). Plus I feel like more of the sitcom stars come here, if stargazing is part of your Warner Bros dining experience. read more

I love eating here for lunch on the lot! The tacos are really good (both taste & value)! I also love the burger specials and frozen yogurt. It's not-so-fast food, unless you're getting one of the specials (like a salad, or stuff from the Express menu), but worth the wait. Nice to be able to sit outside when it's not unbearably hot and chat with your coworkers. It's cheaper than the cafeteria! I wish they'd get a megaphone or speaker system so people would hear their numbers being called. read more
