I like the simple and creative menu. Would love to see some real pastries rather than just donuts. It does take a a minute for coffee drinks and much longer for food- so don't stop in when you're in a rush. Atmosphere - it's pretty Spartan in there right now. Not sure what it was like before the plague hit but it's currently pretty empty. Has a hollow feel to it and an echo. Food- they have small pastries etc but we didn't try any Drinks - we come here for the coffee and it's good. I had the Vietnamese iced coffee and it's very good. I really enjoy the process at a pho shop of letting it drip but here it's comes out together lol. My wife had the bourbon white chocolate coffee smoothie. It's an iced drink. A cute little coffeeshop on the centennial side so it was a bit out if the way for me but since I was on this side of town I wanted to try it. And now I wished Iived oj that side of town. They have the most delicious berry matcha latte I have ever had in vegas. I have had strawberry matcha lattes around town but this berry one is sweet yet tart due to the mix of berries. It wasn't super sweet and they also offer milk alternatives! You can also add boba to the drinks but I choose not to. I also had the bourbon vanilla latte and it was nice smooth vanilla taste with a hint of a smokey flavor which could be from the bourbon. It was very smooth and nice. Wasn't super sweet or over powering of the coffee. Will definitely need to come back for their donuts. read more

Apart from the price, this bubble tea spot is great. I ordered the Honey Longan with Egg Pudding and I was so sad when it was entirely consumed. The location itself is kind of out of the way, but not far off from the highway. The servers are extremely chill and polite and take pride in the craft of making a bubble drink. While we were waiting, we noticed that there is as dining/seating/chilling area for those who are looking to just read a book or work on their computers. Ambiance of the location is relaxing and the drink itself leaves me wanting to go back again in the future. They also serve mochi donuts for those with a sweet tooth. I have been going to Aware for my coffee for over a year now and they never disappoint! If you are looking for strong but smooth espresso, this is the place! I usually order their cookie butter latte (when it's in season) or their salted caramel latte. Also their tiramisu topping is DELICIOUS to say the least. If I'm hungry, I usually order their turkey chipotle club sandwich and their mochi donuts (if I want a sweet treat). Food is tasty! I never have problems with my orders. Lastly their staff is so sweet and attentive, especially with their regulars! One of the baristas already knows my order. Upon walking into the cafe, I liked the mural on the wall and the industrial look. However, I was definitely turned off by the service and unprofessionalism. I had inquired about the drink i was looking to order. There was no engagement. As well as, lack of cleanliness by the barista. Which makes me wonder how their kitchen is. I had witnessed the barista not only drink their boba milk tea while taking and speaking with customers. But, I had seen that the barista took cash transactions and made drinks afterwards without washing his hands. Along with touching his face. I've worked in the food industry before and i can guarantee that is not up to standard. I understand if there is lack of staff, but these are the basics. I certainly did not feel comfortable drinking my spritzer, especially after he touched the top of my drink. I knew a-where this cafe was from its prior life as a boba spot. I guess some things don't change. I'm pretty sure that I heard about Aware Coffee & Tea Lounge when they showed up on the Hot & New Businesses section of Yelp, and I definitely saw them make an appearance at the 1st Annual Las Vegas Asian Night Market (read: 2018). They have plenty of teas and milk teas on their menu still, but I wanted a heavier dose of caffeine and cajoled a friend into joining me for post-lunch coffee. The plaza is fairly compact and right off the highway, so you really can't miss it if you're using a GPS navigation app on your mobile phone. Plenty of parking was available on this Sunday afternoon despite Aware being almost full of patrons at tables, counters, and couches. I was super surprised at how busy it was considering that my last visit was when it was an almost-dead Tea Time Cafe. I was staring intently at the Cold Brew coffee section of the menu. Upon asking the cashier about the two options, I learned that the standard Cold Brew is a medium roast while the Vietnamese Cold Brew is a dark roast with condensed milk. Considering that cold brew should remove the bitterness of dark roast while maintaining the more complex flavors, and not too concerned about sweetness, I went with a large cup ($5) of the latter. My order was prepared quickly enough, and it tasted pretty awesome at the start. The coffee was strong and flavorful, and the condensed milk made it creamy and reasonably sweet without going overboard. When I revisited it after my evening engagement, I did start to pick up more green and chocolaty flavors, and it felt a bit thinner, so I wouldn't recommend saving it for later (unless perhaps you're refrigerating it at home). I don't come out to the northwest area of Las Vegas very often, but I will have to keep aware of Aware when I do. Their coffee is worth a visit, but not one where I'm driving all the way from Henderson just for that. read more

Matcha pretty but NO pretty annoyed by the hype because it was a NO for me. Location is silly in my opinion I don't see it lasting long sad I would rather have starbs brought our full matcha to starbs and they gave us free ones because they felt had a designer drink with designer prices tased like crap weak ingredients. Came to visit family, and I was surprised that there weren't many smaller coffee spots besides the big brands, Starbucks, Dutch bros, and McDonald's, the was one other smaller coffee shop but, this one was more interesting menu. Def a hit spot with many college students and business people have meetings. The venue is very big, a lot of seating. The coffee was amazing I had their tiramisu latte and the original viet iced coffee. Both were very good, if you want strong, Smokey coffee go for the viet. It is a nice place to read a book or write a paper. They have a good variety of drinks from coffee, tea, milk tea, smoothie, frappe, and spritzer. It was kinda hard to decide, so i took the cashiers recommendation. I ended up trying their tiramisu latte, and I would say that was one of the best one I had. The cream cheese foam on top was truly delicious it seriously tasted like tiramisu. The coffee that they use is pretty strong. I was pretty full when I came by, so i didn't have room for dessert. But since some staff changes have happened, like part of the two people that were there today at 2:30 pm, there is definitely a lack good customer service. One was drinking coffee at the cash register. I ordered food to eat in & it came out as a to go boxes. I asked for plates & was told they were out of plates. She acted pretty rude over all! No soy alternatives is minus one star for me. Their bean has a distinct punchy flavor that doesn't get lost in the milk. An above average latte should you be in the mood. Wow!!! This place is the coolest coffee shop in Vegas! Their version of the mochi donuts are better than the versions we have in bay. To be honest, those mochi donuts in the bay area are hyped up. These, at aware, are bomb. The orange creamsicle and the mango are my faves but the others were bomb as well. My son and wifey loved em. Well I can't think of a better location for this comfortable and welcoming tea spot. Today was my second visit and the more I drink boba tea, the more I experiment. I love how the staff will explain each flavor and the process here for making their teas. As I normally drink my tea unsweetened, I appreciated that the kind young man waiting on me explained that you can adjust your sweetness according to your tea which helped me a lot. I have to admit the milk teas with sweetener add that delightful flavor, but I don't need anymore sugar. I also appreciate that all of their syrups are made in house. Today's choice was an Earl Grey for my daughter and a Taro for me. WOW! The Taro was really tasty. I wasn't sure I was going to like it but the flavor is very unique and went down easy especially with a little boba to compliment the tea. I am quickly becoming a fan of milk teas but will be returning soon to try their other offerings. In addition, they are now serving a light menu of items such as avocado toast and other little nibbles to accompany their tea. The atmosphere is "study or work friendly" with some high top tables along with a couple of couches. I also was digging the music today they were playing. I feel like I want to hang out here, ponder the worlds issues and find solutions while drinking my tea. Went with my sister. She had a salted caramel latte which looked and smelled delicious. She said it was excellent. We split an apple cider mochi donut, and it was awesome. The texture is really different from a standard yeast donut. There is more pull/elasticity and it is a little more chewy. I had an espresso that was quite good and a pour over that was solid. They brew beans from Onyx Coffee Lab, which is one of my favorite roasters, so that was a plus. A bit of a sterile environment, at least during vivid, but the coffee is excellent and the donuts are unique and tasty. read more
