Awesome Thai is well....AWESOME! It's in the name! I have found Awesome Thai to be a consistently great place to order takeout. Delivery is super speedy, delivery drivers are super friendly and the food is hot upon arrival! I always order the tom yum soup, pad woon sen and shrimp dumplings. Their tom yum soup is the best I've had from most Thai places in the Valley! It's not terribly spicy like where it hurts to consume, but it's flavorful and delicious. I love that citrus-y lemongrass flavor! You can also choose what kind of protein you want in the soup. For any dish, Awesome Thai is great when you ask for a specific modification. I often ask for steamed tofu instead of fried, or light oil for my noodles. They never miss a special request! My favorite dish, the pad woon sen is loaded with fresh veggies and your choice of protein. It's such a big portion but I can't help myself. I house it everytime. Add a little sriracha and daaaaaayum! I've also tried the pad thai and the papaya salad from here, both are delicious! The menu items are also priced very fair in my opinion. I can order myself a pretty big lunch for about $20 including tip. I've never been disappointed by my food or the service here, and I will always put Awesome Thai at the top of my list for Thai takeout! read more

Ordered delivery from them 3 times so far and they have been nothing but awesome! Quality and flavor of their dishes are amazing and their delivery is very speedy. I ordered directly from their website and each time they delivered my food at least 15-20min earlier than anticipated time. Have been a longtime customer of this restaurant & it's take out only. I decided to order Pad Thai for a change. When picking up my next order (not Pad Thai) I complained that their Pad Thai was the worst I've ever had. The male cashier became belligerent & I told home that I would go elsewhere from now on. What a dick!!!!! I spent 2 months in Thailand. So, I nicely told them my issue with the Pad Thai. Apparently, it was Tamarind or so they say. If you don't want Pad Thai that tasted exactly like noodles covered w/Heinz Ketchup, do yourself a favor and DO NOT ORDER THE PAD THAI!!! Some of their other dishes aren't bad. read more

I've tasted the chicken sate and pad Thai, both were good. I definitely will be back to try other dishes though I loved their pad thai that I may end up consistently ordering that dish. Awesome Thai is a favorite in my neighborhood! The portions are perfect, the food is so flavorful, and service is fast/friendly! I'm vegan and appreciate that they can veganize a lot of the orders for me. It'd be awesome if they had a separate section on the menu listing vegan options as I'm not totally sure what all can be made vegan. Finding food on Christmas eve can be a challenge and we were really happy with Awesome Thai it obviously too some time due to I'm sure a lot of people ordering since none of us want to cook on Christmas, but when it arrived it was all hot and ready to eat. First time trying this place on 03/21/24. I tried the Edamame, Wonton Soup, Spicy Cashew Nut and Combo Fried Rice. They were all delicious. Unfortunately, some of the dishes are not served with rice (for example Entree and Curry have no rice) so you're only purchasing the entree. Really good food and affordable prices! This was our first time coming here and we called an order in for pick up. The woman on the phone took my order quickly and said it would be ready in 15 minutes. The Drunken Noodles here at Awesome Thai are just that, awesome! It was a very large portion and very flavorful. The Cashew Chicken was a large portion also, with a good amount of vegetables and chicken. It doesn't come with rice like most places, so you get a good portion of the entree. The restaurant sign says they have free delivery! Next time I want to try the Pad See Ew! They also package the to go orders very well, so nothing spills everywhere. It isn't a fancy place but they good food, portions, and prices! This just might be our new Thai spot! read more

One of the best Thai food I've had .quick delivery but they always forget my extra cucumber

I was visiting the valley last week and was in need of a good hot soup. My local daughter ordered me an order of Tom Kha Ghai from here. I must mentioned that it was DELIVERED TO HER RESIDENCE so we physically did not dine here. I noticed that the hot plastic tub was delivered inside a brown paper bag... NO STAPLES or anything! Just a 'folded' small bag. The actual soup was so so as it was in the salty side. The 1 star review is because I got very very SICK for 2 days of food poisoning!!! You have to understand, I've eaten street food everywhere around the world ... from Mexico to Manila to Bangkok and India... I am blessed with a stomach made of steel but this particular order got me good. I don't know how or whether it was poor food handling in the kitchen or delivery tampering but my instincts tell Me it was more from poor kitchen safe handling. read more

I love trying new thai places and landed upon this one on Uber eats. The menu is very extensive and i ended up ordering Spicy sweet basil chicken , wings and thai tea. I was totally disappointed with everything. The food though hot was not so good. The chicken was chewy hard and almost inedible . Wings were somewhat overcooked and not so good on taste either. Thai tea is a total disaster , it was just sugar water, really sweet , didn't even felt like a tea. I was highly disappointed. Not ordering here. The people are so nice and friendly! That was the first thing that won me over. I got the orange chicken and literally this was the best orange chicken I've had. I didn't even eat it hot, it was cold and it was still really good! I can't wait to go back and get it and eat it hot because I know it'll be even better! I'm a person who loves her food pipping hot! You can only order to go, can't sit in and eat. The food is quite good. Friendly service and always with a smile. There is no ambiance, very small restaurants and you can't sit inside, they only accept to go, pickup and delivery. Had order delivery a few months ago.
