Requested a table for 5. Was quoted 45 min wait at 6:45 which was fine. The good thing about a long wait is you have time to check yelp for reviews. And could hear two parties before us complaining as they left. It's an hour and a half later and still no call and already enjoying our meal at another restaurant . Alondras is a place where you should check out if you're in the Alhambra area. The only downside to Alondras is the location and parking. To get to it, you have to drive in from the 10, that street traffics is no joke. Also the parking isn't the greatest as it is limited and I believe the lot adjacent to it is pay parking only. Inside is clean and the staff is COVID compliant! Service was great and fast. The food was amazing! We ordered the cheese balls and they were so so good as they were fresh and hot. They have a good selection of flavor for wings. The pizza was so so good. We ordered The Godfather large. It fed 3 adults and we still had plenty left overs. I've been watching videos of people eating hot wings online, so I've been craving hot wings for a while. We also found a groupon for here for $30 worth of food, so we decided to come here for dinner so that I could satisfy my craving. And Alondra's definitely did. I ordered the 12 piece classic wings with a side of french fries and house salad (total $15). I got the spicy honey bbq sauce, but I do recommend asking your waiter to taste test your sauce before you get it, because their spicy sauces can pack a punch, depending on how sensitive you are to spice. If it helps though, you also get a side of ranch to pair with your wings. They coat the wings generously, and 12 wings can definitely fill you up. Honestly, we could probably split the 12 piece combo between 2 people and then maybe get another menu item, because we both got full from just half of our own plates. We both had enough to bring the leftovers home for our lunch the next day. The wings are fried, so they're similar to wings from Buffalo Wild Wings, but the wings here have a good amount of meat on them and are way juicier. The fries are tasty as well. It has a garlic flavor to it. It's on the thicker side of fries, and it's the kind that goes a bit limp, not the crispy kinds of fries. The salad isn't anything special. I just got it to get a sort of refresher from the fries and the wings. It's basically just a bunch of greens and you pour ranch over it (or don't depending on what you prefer). We also tried their Dreamers cocktail ($8), which is Bacardi Silver, Triple Sec, orange juice, and a splash of grenadine. It was pretty good, though pricey for the size that it is, especially with the amount of ice that they put in. There's not too much alcohol, but there's definitely enough for you to taste it. Service was okay, though it lags a little bit. Our waiters would come by to check up on us once in a while, but if they needed to bring something back to us like a water refill or our check, then it took a while for them to get it to us after we requested it. I haven't tried anything else on their menu, but I'm a fan of their wings. You get a lot on your plate, and they don't really hold back on any of the ingredients. They also have a lot in the back where you can park, so that's super convenient as well. Definitely a place that I would come back to. read more

I was there Wednesday July the 3rd at 8:00 pm It was a wild that I was there it just to be called Alondra's hot wings. First of all when you walk in it has a nasty funky smell. The restaurant look very dirty. We got there before another family there were trying to sit them first before us. The server I forgot her name, I don't know how can she even be a server bad attitude I think there were short staff witch I could understand I'm a manager from a restaurant to and I know it could be stressful when your short handed but you have to try to do your best specially if you work for tips. Everyone else was getting their food before us I ask the server why was everyone else after us were getting their food and she said there were busy I know and I understand but her attitude made it worse the manager a young guy came and he was really nice he actually did a great job. This place has amazing pizza! We wanted to originally order pizza and ended up purchasing here because of the wing selection they have. I loved the godfather pizza, if you love a meat lovers pizza this ones for you. We also created our own veggie pizza, and ordered a pizza with chicken, garlic, and ham but I forgot the name. This one was actually my favorite! The pieces of chicken were not large and overpowering with each bite, but the garlic flavor was so delicious and intense. If you like garlic you definitely need to order this! The crust was really soft and fluffy with a crunch in he outside, perfectly cooked! The wings are pretty good but I personally prefer the pizza. My favorite was the lemon pepper over the medium hot wings. I found that they were pretty crispy but the saucy wings ended up being a bit soggy on the outside. Walked in to order some wings to go. Ordered a 16 wing order for $20 with a side of Onion rings along with an order of cheese balls. They gave me some water while I sat and waited for my order. It took a while but after 20 minutes of waiting I was on my way. I was excited to get home and grub but was extremely disappointed when I saw the size of most of my wings that sat at the bottom of the pile. The only way to describe the size is to give you a point of reference. See pic below. You know theres a problem with the size of your wings when the ketchup packages in your order are bigger and meatier than the actual wings. Alondra's is a decent spot to check out if you are looking for something casual and easy. They have your classic American pub style fair from burgers, fries, wings, and pizzas. I forget the name of the pizza that I like from there, but it's basically a buffalo chicken style pizza. The food is pretty good, and is quickly served, but the service can be dodgy. This visit was pretty good with the service though. Be aware that it can get pretty packed on game nights and weekends, we waited about 30 minutes to be seated but had a couple drinks at the bar to pass the time. The restaurant is simple in decoration but packs in the people. Great for a game night outing! read more

Went here on Sunday, expecting it to be decently busy. It wasn't! Maybe About 5 other tables full. We were seated right away. It seems like Alondras is getting a name change and will now be AWSOM, but still had just about the same menu. A lot of the salads have been taken out. So it's mostly wings, pizza and sandwiches. They also did not have a drink menu and told us their bar wasn't open, maybe because of the name change? Not sure but that was a bummer. We got a pizza, some wings and the cheese balls. The cheese balls never disappoint, love dipping them in the marinara or asking for a side of the lime chili sauce and dipping it in that too. The pizza was great. Last time we were here they overdid it on the sauce so we asked for light sauce and it was perfect, crust and all. Picky eater approved.The wings were definitely very dry. We could have used some extra sauce but we didn't even get a chance to ask for some honestly. The 2 stars are for the food and the quickness of the staff making the food and getting it out of the kitchen. the missing 3 is for the service. There were 5 girls working when we were there, and again it wasn't full at all. Maybe 5 other tables at the most were taken. Tell me why our waitress came over just to drop off the food and never came back. We had a clear view of the restaurant, and she and another gal were either on their phone behind the counter or our waitress was chit chatting with another girl. We tried to flag her down, we even called for her and its like she had blinders on and ear plugs in. At one point my husband got out of our booth as she was passing by and asked her for something and was ignored lol. My husband had to go to the counter to ask for sauces, and again for more napkins, and again for boxes and AGAIN for the tab. What's the point of getting serviced and tipping if we're doing the job for her? Out of the 5 there, only 2 were actually attentive to the tables. The cherry on top was when my husband paid. The suggested tips were all above 20%. We weren't savages and still tipped her obviously, but I guess it wasn't what she was expecting. Because she rolled her eyes when she read the receipt. I guess I'd be upset too if I didn't get paid top tip for working so hard scrolling on my phone while my customers came to me for everything they needed lol. Next time, we'll order to-go. read more

First time here and I wasn't too impressed. We called before we came on a Sunday evening and were told that there was no wait. When we got there, the host told us there was a 30-40 minute wait. We were actually seated in 15 minutes, confusing! FOOD: - 16 wings with 2 sides - we did 50/50 cajun and spicy honey BBQ wings. The cajun ones were definitely spicy and the BBQ ones were sticky but yummy. The wings themselves were a bit dry and the sides were super small portions! Only got a few onion rings and the beans were salty - personal size Dom pizza - a little bland, and I thought the sausage tasted a little funky SERVICE: A bit spotty. I think they were understaffed so even though there were plenty of empty tables when we arrived, there were still a lot of people waiting to be seated. Food came out at once but took a while. One day we felt like wings so we just ordered one of their 50 packs with 10 flavors each. The wings are cooked very well, crunchy on the outside and tender meat on the inside. No soggy wings here, even with delivery. I hate soggy wings. Might as well microwave them if you are serving them soggy. I forgot what we got already because I passed out after eating all those wings. But I do recall the tradition buffalo was very tasty and the sauce is just right, without the overly salty or pungent flavor that can plague some other brand's wings. The Korean BBQ wings were sweet and tangy. The lemon salt wings were tangy but I think it was too salty for my tastes. I forgot what other wings we got... But I really have no complaints about the wings other than sometimes it gets a little salty but otherwise, all of the flavors are pretty solid. read more
