There is a very good reason that this place has such a low rating. They are unreliable and uncommunicative. They were the company that our home warranty assigned to fix our cooktop. The guy who came to attend to the cooktop told us there was nothing wrong and decided to provide maintenance. He did some cleaning, sanded down a couple of burners and adjusted the flames. He left me with a mess that I had to clean up and readjusted the flames incorrectly. I made the mistake of making a second appointment to actually fix what was still not working. I was given a 3 hour window in the morning. No one showed up, no one called. I sent the owner a text saying that the guy was a No Show 2 hours after the end of the window. Two hours after that, I received a call from the dispatcher saying he could have someone at my home in 15 minutes. I declined as I saw. I value in having them come back. They were disrespectful of my time. They said that someone would call when they were on the road to my place and didn't follow through with that - no communication. They sent someone who did not know how to fix a stove. They provide no value and lots of grief. If I could give them a zero, I would from this experience. read more

Awful service. They were supposed to show up between 8am and 10am, but were a no call no show. Then I called and they said someone was coming between 10am - 1pm. 1:15pm arrived and nobody came. I called back and they said it will be about an hour. I asked why didn't anyone call me to let me know they weren't coming on time. The person on the phone was very rude and just kept saying that it would be about an hour. Finally someone came and they said the wrong part had been ordered and they would have to come back. Unbelievable. I called my insurance and they said someone from Axis would be reaching out to follow up with more information. I was never contacted. Then, on my Allstate webpage claim, it had it marked as completed and I had to reinitiate the process all over again. In my opinion, this service seems to be plagued by a combination of immaturity and incompetence. read more

Then they tried to change it almost 2 weeks out then I asked for a supervisor 9 times and the guy customer service associate literally yelled at me then hung up, which was recorded because I was standing in front on my ring camera. Absolutely unaaceptable customer service. I am on hold now again with the woman who answers their calls now and have just been waiting and she is trying to avoid getting her supervisor. I asked her name and she intially refused to give it and finally gave it when I said I'm reporting their business it's Vinay(spelling may be a bit off). She then says the supervisor is already gone for the day but she will see about letting me keep the Monday appointment time and will call me back, which I highly doubt. I have been dealing with Axis Appliance since July for a refrigerator and freezer repair through my home warranty company, and the experience has been nothing short of exhausting. Over the past three and a half months, I've had multiple appointments, taken time off work, and still have no working freezer -- and for the past six weeks, no working refrigerator either. Each time a technician came out, I was told something else was broken, yet the problem was never actually fixed. Communication from the company has been poor, and it's been nearly impossible to get updates or schedule follow-ups. At my most recent appointment, the technician left in the middle of the job without saying a word to my husband -- no explanation, no repair, nothing. Then, instead of taking accountability, the company falsely claimed my husband was yelling and cursing at the technician, which is absolutely untrue. I was on the phone during the entire exchange, and my husband simply expressed our frustration (which, after months without a working fridge, is completely reasonable). It's extremely disappointing how this company has handled the situation. We have shown patience and cooperation for months, but the lack of professionalism, poor communication, and failure to complete the job speak volumes. Do not use axis appliance repair. My landlord called them to repair our dryer. First appointment - they had a service window of 10-1. They didn't show up until 3pm. Ok, fine. It's late, but whatever. He says he needs to go to the store to get a part, says he'll be back in 20 minutes. Never returns. Got a call to schedule a follow up appointment. Okay, at least they didn't ghost us. Scheduled an appointment, again was given a service window of 10-1. They didn't show up until 5pm! I WFH'd the entire day when I literally could have just left the office a bit early to make it, if they had given me the correct service window. Poor customer service!! Since September 10th I have been without a working fridge . Axis repair, 3815 Mission Ave., Oceanside, came on the 12th to access the problem. He was in n out of there quick and came to the conclusion it was the compressor or something. I have been texting and email, tried calling with negative results. I always had to contact Choice warranty to update the status. Axis would respond with...When parts come in , we will notify you. I recently received a lengthy message from Alex stating the company was not in the position to order or receive parts...? Why then did the take the order??? Alex mentioned the $100 that I had to pay out of pocket before they could order the parts. I had no problem with that. The first message from customer service informed me that $100 would be out of pocket. It didn't state when to pay it. I assumed I would pay when they came to repair my fridge. Not the case, I got a threatening message stating they will not order the parts until I paid the $100. I called them back as soon as that message came in. I was surprised phone call was answered. I paid that day and informed her that I was never told when to pay and told her it was not my fault. She didn't seem to care and cut me off plenty of time. Now it's September 25th and no word as to when they will come. I can't believe it takes approximately 3 weeks. I s should've canceled e we it them when the threatened not to do anything until they got their money. I do not recommend this shady company who don't care about their customers. They never answer their phone except once maybe by mistake or to get my money. Other than that, they don't answer phone calls ,txt, or email. Then never update unless I call my Choice company . Finally got new technician came over after putting original review. New technician who came was friendly and professional. He understood the issue and took care of the issue (cleaned the air pipe, garbage disposal connector) and made sure that dishwasher was working. 8/11 Had issues with our appliances and contacted our home warranty , hubs saw the appliance company that our home warranty first selected hubs said "bad reviews" do not send - find another one. Warranty company suggests Axis Appliance, took a "quick" glance via Google review - had 4 star rating - book them - UGH- MISTAKE! 8/14 tech comes out by the name of Andrei. Issues: 1) one of the BURNERs on the stove was not working - did a quick "on/off" look; then moved on to the next; 2) "HOOD" over the microwave that blocks the exhaust; looked at it then moved on to the next; 3) DISHWASHER - 2 lights blinking; spent some time looking through it - even running it on diff cycles; then moves on to our BIGGEST issue; 4) DRYER - informed him that it's not heating up, all he did was turn it on - let it run a few minutes; then exited the area; WTH? I asked - how do you know what's wrong with it if ALL you did was TURN IT ON??? Andrei states that it's a common issue that he usually sees basically a fuse - oh really? I had a BAD feeling. Now here we are 3 weeks later...it's now 8/29 AND After so many calls - mainly us contacting Axis to ask for status updates AND Axis cancelling our appt last minute - THE DAY OF - well here are the results: 1) "BURNER" - doesn't turn on as it should AND flames are "low" - WTH; 2) "HOOD" on the microwave - there are elements in there like little "hooks" and parts like a puzzle piece - ended up with a dent on the main component - because it was basically being "forced" in place - WTH; 3) DISHWASHER - that's about the only thing that works - so far and the one thing we DON'T use - good grief; 4) but the DRYER - OMG - I had a bad feeling - so the first tech, Andrei - yup - did NOT properly assess the issue - of course not - only turned the dang thing on/off. So here we are NO DRYER, stated that it's another issue - might take another week - WTH?! The MOST important appliance THE DRYER - WTH?! we NEED to have clean clothes!!! The first 3 appliances: 1) BURNER - so one is out - we have 3 other burners; 2) HOOD over the microwave - doesn't affect it's function - still works; 3) DISHWASHER - let's be real - some of us use it as an additional storage rack - so we simply do manual labor and wash the dang dishes...now as for 4) DRYER - option to go to a laundromat - gas for travel (no where near our area), time wasted - gotta watch your stuff, additional cost- have you seen those prices , and does your clothes really come out "clean" - hmmm - need I say more. That was tolerable for the last 3 weeks - DONE! And based on the rest of the reviews and now our own personal experience - would NOT recommend. Note - I left out quite a few details but that's about the gist of it. And on a "side note" - other than "social media/reviews" - just know if you value your license - be sure to protect it - as the CA state licensing board is a another platform to go to for these "reviews/complaints". read more

10 years later and this company is still awful. Scheduled a service for them to come repair an under-warranty washing machine. Scheduled for them to come between 10am and 1pm. At 1pm, they called saying the technician would be there at 1:20, to which I explained I was getting my son from school and had held three hours for them, but I would not be available until 1:30. They then asked for another 3 hour window because the technician could not wait 10 minutes while I got my son from school. Obviously 10 minutes of the technician's time is worth more than 3 hours of mine. read more

Axis repair is the worst repair people i have ever dealt with in my 80 years on this earth. the first time my ice maker quit working they would not come out until i paid them with a credit card $150 so i did. them i sent them a picture of the tag on the inside of the refrigerator two days later they came out and said they had to order the part. two weeks later they show up with the part installed it. it did not work , three days later they came back, fixed it . again it did not work i ask them if they had anyone there that knew how to fix a ice maker. no answer. another two days go by they came again and the man said the other tech. did not turn on the ice maker. After four trips it worked. Now one year later same problem but this time one month goes by and no ice maker. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME ON A BUNCH OF NO TALENTED REPAIR PEOPLE. . read more

A nightmare, waste of time and dishonest. They came within the day I called them to tell me what they had to fix and take my check for 50% down. Took them two weeks to bring a the part, but the washer didn't work. I had to keep following up an additional week, multiple times, for them to finally tell me my repair was misdiagnosed and that they had brought a broken part, and to repair it was going to cost 3.5X as much as they had quoted me (bringing the repair up to the same price as a new washer). At this point I was 3 weeks without a washer and paying for laundromat and laundry services. On top of that they notified me only after taking my 50% down that they would only service my area on Tuesdays (which we can't be home because of work), even though they came on a Saturday to diagnose and take my check... t Their call center is in Russia or somewhere in Eastern Europe. You never get to talk to who is in the office. It really feels shady, and sometimes a language barrier. They're dishonest because even though they misdiagnosed my repair and ended up taking forever to get back to me, they deducted $90 for the service call instead of giving me a full refund. Axis Appliance Repair is an absolute DISASTER of a company! My Frigidaire freezer (still under warranty) had an issue with the inside frosting up. Axis Appliance repair was dispatched by Frigidaire to fix the problem, however after the tech visit, the problem was even worse! I contacted Axis and told them that the issue was not resolved and they said that they would be ordering a part (door gasket) that they thought might fix it. 12 days later no part had been delivered and despite 4 phone calls and multiple texts over a 4 day period trying to get Axis to provide me with tracking information for the part, they could not provide anything at all ...... they could not even provide the part order number with Frigidaire so that I could call Frigidaire MYSELF to find out when the part would be delivered! To put things in perspective the part was a door seal gasket that I could have ordered on Amazon or eBay and had delivered to my house in 1 day! Read all the other negative reviews about this company before you consider using them! They are horrible! Update after reading response from Axis: ================================== I think you failed to understand the issue. I did not expect you to order parts from Amazon or eBay for a warranty claim. My point was that I could have done that myself and had the parts I needed within a day or two. I do understand that parts were ordered directly from Frigidaire BY YOUR COMPANY who should have received a parts order number and should have been able to get tracking information on the order that you placed. My point is that I tried for 4 DAYS to get tracking information from you on the parts order that YOU PLACED. I was anxious to get the tracking information as I told your team two weeks ago that I was going on a 2-month overseas trip and if the freezer could not be repaired before then, that I would need to make arrangements to purchase a new freezer before I left on my trip. It is telling that miraculously after I posted a negative review of your company that you were able to immediately provide the tracking information .......... Despite your opinion that waiting for parts for 2-3 weeks is an acceptable timeframe, I do not agree. This is not the first time I have had appliances repaired and in every single case where parts were needed they arrived in a matter of days not weeks. Be aware of this repair shop they are scammer or not have exprience On May 19, 2024, open a claim was placed with First American Home Warranty ("First American") for failure to the Refrigerator: Freestanding located in your kitchen . Axis technician (a second language person) came and look the Refrigerator and said need part to order and left. Later i received a call to inform me the part (29732900) door bearing closing cam is not available I believe since they cannot find the part, they report to First American that failure to your Refrigerator: Freestanding was due to accident which was a false report. failure door bearing is due to normal wear and tear.
