Do NOT use Axis Appliance Repair. Their technician caused $2,000 in water damage to my neighbor's unit and the company has refused to take any responsibility. They were dispatched through First American Home Warranty to replace a fridge fan. While on-site, their tech unnecessarily turned on an unused, open water line under my secondary kitchen sink -- something completely unrelated to the service call. That line had no cap and wasn't connected to anything, causing a slow leak for days that went unnoticed until my neighbor reported water pooling through his ceiling. I documented everything: photos, damage estimate, timeline, even the tech's admission that he opened the valve. Despite this, Axis has gone silent, ignored follow-ups, and refuses to file an insurance claim. This is not just incompetence -- it's negligence and total lack of accountability. Had two things that needed to be fixed. Technician fixed one item then went on to second item. Not once did the technician have me sign any kind of documents before work was done. The second item he dropped onto the first item and damaged it. They Had ordered the replacement part but when I let my home warranty know what happened?, they lied and said technician did not do it. Company came back and had me try and sign the so called repair document, this time and I told him no I'm not signing a fucking blank form. Keep away from the owner of the company he is so dishonest. Wish I could give it a zero. They were absolutely the worst company I've ever worked with! they were assigned from my warranty company to fix my issue with my oven which was releasing too much gas. The guy lied about how long he was here assessing the situation and never fixed the issue. He stated he smelled no gas when actuality my house was filling with gas so bad I had to open all windows and turn fans on just to breath. He left saying he would contact a supervisor to figure out what to do and next thing I know I got an email saying my claim was closed because the issue was resolved! I called this place back and they said there's nothing they can do about it and I still have the issue and there are no help Edit to add.. i cant reply to the company reply so i will add here... I said "ALWAYS" smells like gas not sometimes..theres the first lie... i dont need a screenshot of google maps i have cameras at my home that recorded the time he entered my residence and the time he left. I would never let a repair person from your company in my home again! i dont need a second opinion from the same company..thats not what a second opinion is. I will also not be giving you one more dollar then i have already given for a repair that was never done. Your tech lied about the amount of time he spent on my appliance, really doing anything to try and figure out the problem, and that he would have a supervisor contact me for next steps. March 25th - 1st repair - Arrival window was 11-3. I was told I would get a call, notifying me of when he would arrive. I reached out at 3:15 because he hadn't shown, confirming I was truly on the schedule. They said yes and I'll get a call when he's on his way. He showed at 3:45, no call. He said 'what did you do to it? It doesn't break on its own' He said 'I'll order the part today or tomorrow'. April 2nd - got text that part was ordered (6 business days after initial appt). Text said ETA 3-5 business days I called on April 10th and was told yes, the part was ordered and sorry, nothing more they could do, even regarding the poor customer service by the tech or delay in ordering. Coincidentally, I received a call about an hour later, letting me know the part was in. Made appt for tech to come on Saturday between 10-1. Never got a call that he was on his way (was told when making the appt that he would call). He showed up at 11:16, no call. He was gone by 11:50. He said his office gave him the wrong belt. He said 'maybe Monday I can come back'. I told him I had already taken off the Monday that he came to look at it and I'm not taking more time off because his office messed up. He said the office wasn't open weekends but he could try to go there and get the right one because it's there and come back same day. We had a concert and told him 5pm so we didn't see that working but he would need to come Sunday. He said he'd call Sunday to make arrangements to come. We've not heard a thing since Had an actual GE repair person out today, after calling GE back and the guy said the belt in my dryer is perfectly fine. He's not able to tell me what's wrong because my dryer was still not 'taken apart' inside and could not be put back together because the Axis tech had stripped several screws. The GE tech showed me the photos and said he had to order those before figuring out the issue with my dryer...but definitely was NOT the belt (see photos of belt that was in there). So the tech lied because he damaged parts inside my 3 month old dryer!! This company should not be touching anyone's appliances. read more

I contacted Midea (refrig from Lowes) they referred me to Axis again for the same issues I had when it was only a few months old. The icemaker/water dispenser broke cheaply made never but Midea again plus is easily dents. Axis told me they still need to come to evaluate for $90 I explained to him it the same item you fixed the last time just order I will pay for part then come and install. He comes out cane find the part states the ofc will call. They called with a quote $150 for part and $250 for labor the 90 was deducted ! $400 to repair the little flapper dispenser. I found it on internet $60.00 will be here this week she states it comes with directions so I can do myself will give it a shot. We are retired/disabled and on SS budget...just gave them $90.00 for nothing. They also call me that they could not come at the time given which was later after 3-6. I left at noon to kids up grandkids 1/2 day school when i get a call that he's sitting outside waiting 3 hours before appt time which was the original time in the first place. Worst customer experience I've ever had. * First technician (Dimitry): He repeatedly asked us to justify why we believed our fridge had an issue. The H1 alert, the elevated temperature confirmed by his own thermometer, and the compressor running non-stop for five days were all considered "normal" to him. * Second technician (Alexey): He acknowledged there was a problem and said he would report his findings to Frigidaire within 24 hours, which he never did. He even admitted that technicians at the company avoid "difficult" repairs because they take too long and aren't profitable. I called Axis Appliance Repair multiple times to follow up, but it led nowhere. Thankfully, Frigidaire eventually intervened and sent one of their own technicians, who diagnosed the issue quickly and ordered the necessary parts. HORRIBLE all around. DO NOT do business with this company. You will waste your money and get nothing fixed. We had a technician come out to check on a burning smell and some white powder that our dryer was spitting out. The technician came and got upset that he had to put on shoe covers. He quite literally rolled his eyes like he couldn't believe we would ask for such a thing. He went missing for 20 minutes to put on shoe covers then came back and spent less than 5 minutes checking the dryer. He said he didn't notice a smell which is obviously there. We asked about the white powder and he shrugged his shoulders saying "I don't know what that is". Then he left without doing anything. And this was not a consult call, this was a repair call. LG sent this company over to do a repair. No repair was even attempted. We called into the office after and spoke to someone who was equally rude. When we asked for the manager, he started acting nicer. We spoke to LG after and they said someone will contact us within 24 hours from this company, and we've still not had any updates from them. Still no answers about what's going on with the dryer. Still no communication about if it's going to be repaired. Avoid the disaster with this company if you have the choice. read more

If I could give 0 starts I absolutely would! The worst experience ever! I respectfully don't understand how this company is even still running after ALL the bad reviews that have had similar experiences. My landlord went through this company hoping they would cover the warranty, unfortunately it did not. We needed repairs to our washer, that would not spin/agitate to wash clothes only. First let's start off with the language barrier of both customer service over the phone and repair techs. It was EXTREMELY hard to understand them and even get them to understand me! I had to constantly explain things over and over again, plus they always seemed so lost! First day a guy came to repair our washer I had to explain to him what was wrong. After removing the washer cover he apparently fixed it within like 20 min and I asked if it works and he said yes it was just an electrical problem! then asked if I needed repairs for my fridge...I said no just the washer. Once he left I went back to take a look at my washer, the entire cover of my washer was off! and he did not place it back on or screw it on the way it was! I sent out a message to him and called him and got no response. I called customer service and they sent me a text (photos uploaded of the text) . I was absolutely shocked at their response! they didn't think it was a big deal for me to replace the cover and responded telling me how to put it back on and said "that's all" that is not the point. They are getting paid to come out here and repair something, so don't leave it the way it wasn't when you leave and as a woman, I have no idea or have time to put a cover of a washer back on! This is why we have a repair deal with it. Repair tech ended up responding later, saying he would come back to put it back on with no charge IF I could not do it myself. After all of this hassle the WASHER WAS STILL NOT FIXED! We had to call to reschedule another appointment for someone to come back out and fix it, on top of that they mentioned that they needed to order parts for the washer to be replaced and that it would take some days to receive, so we would have to reach back out for an appointment once the parts arrive. (had no idea we needed new parts, because when the tech left he said it was fixed! nothing else was said, but asking about repairing our fridge that needed no repairs) once the parts arrived we made another appointment. It was also extremely hard to contact customer service because they would always say they'd give us a call back and never does! so a constant call to them was a daily thing. Our SECOND appointment. Customer service called telling me to open the gate to my community because the tech arrived, as there was no one there, then he proceeded to tell me over the phone he's at the door, so open the door. Still no one at the gate or door. He seems very confused!! Tech finally arrived. Mind you, the same tech as the first tech, I was hoping they would send a new tech because of the first experience we had. I had to re-explain everything to the tech once again for the millionth time. It took him about the same amount of 20 min, he proceeded to tell me it was fixed as he was about to leave, and I said wait I want to make sure this works because last time it didn't work after saying it did. I asked him multiple times if the washer spins to wash the clothes, and he said yes it does. He showed me a video apparently showing it does. I said hold on, I want to see if it works and tried turning the washer on and proceeded to tell me, I will not be able to see if it spins when the door is closed/locked. I explained that I understood that, but I could tell if it works or not just by the sound of it. He proceeds to tell me it is fixed and that I will not be able to hear it because of the type of washer (brand) these washers are on the quiet side. I took his word and he left. I turned my washer on to wash clothes, still not fixed!!!!!!!!!! BROKEN as what we started with, and he didn't even explain anything about the parts he replaced. I called customer service telling them my situation and experience and they told me they would call me back, but nothing at all!! SUCH A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! I feel bad for my landlord because she paid them 2 TIMES to come out to fix our washer & it just led to worse things or not even being fixed, or unnecessary things, looking putting in parts that probably wasn't even the problem! Extremely Poor Customer Service - Missed Appointment on August 15th, 2024 Dear Axis Appliance Repair, I am writing to express my deep frustration with the poor customer service we have experienced regarding our LG dryer repair. We had an appointment scheduled with Axis on Monday, August 12, 2024, which was canceled and rescheduled to Thursday, August 15th, between 1:00 PM and 5:00 PM. To accommodate this four-hour service window, I took time off work to ensure that someone would be present when the technician arrived. The day before the appointment, my wife received a reminder text confirming the August 15th appointment. However, at 4:30 PM on August 15th, with no technician in sight, I started calling your office. I spent several minutes caught in a "voicemail loop" waiting for the next available representative. After about five minutes, I hung up and sent a text to the number provided as an alternative, seeking confirmation that a technician would arrive. I then immediately called back and found myself back in the voicemail loop, waiting for over 15 minutes. The call eventually went silent, and I was redirected to someone's voicemail. As I write this email at 5:30 PM, 4.5 hours after the start of our service window and 30 minutes past its end, we have yet to receive any communication from Axis Appliance Repair. The service tech broke my kitchen knob. I made a complaint to my insurance company after no response from Axis. Axis was contracted by Frigidaire to fix my refrigerator that was under warranty. They changed the appointment date and time twice, then when the appointment time came they went to the wrong (old) address. They then rescheduled the appointment for a week later. When that appointment time came, no one showed up and no one contacted me. The next day I finally got ahold of someone and they said they'd reschedule it for 10 days later. At that point I called Frigidaire and asked them to send someone to fix my fridge who wasn't from Axis. Frigidaire sent one of their own technicians 3 days later and fixed the issues in 15 minutes. read more

Verified workmanship issues. It wasn't my choice to use Axis, the Costco extended warranty company (SquareTrade) is who assigned me Axis (one of Yelp's and Google's lowest rated appliance repair companies). Long-story-short (these events took place over the span of a month and a half). First visit, SquareTrade mailed me three parts with the idea that one of them would fix my issue. Axis tech looked at parts and said that they're all wrong and two new ones will need to be ordered (a new board and pump) indicating a serious failure. My dishwasher was only 2.5 years old.. Second visit, SquareTrade only authorized one part, a pump. Tech installed pump and stated that everying is ok. Up to this point I was fine with the extra wait to get the correct part. I accepted the fact that SquareTrade probably sent the wrong parts originally. However, three days later my dishwasher, which was already noticeably louder post repair, shut down with an alarm. Alert code indicated leaking water and to call for service immediately. I visually verified water was leaking and had flooded the area under my dishwasher. I also verified that the leak was from the area of the new pump.. I call Axis and they shockingly changed their "nice" tune. Women on phone rudely says that can't book a follow up appointment for my emergency until two weeks. Strange, you guys didn't install the part correctly and now you're "extremely busy"?? This conflicts with Axis' website that states they work on weekends, emergencies, evenings, holidays and have next day service.. Apparently Axis only busts their ass when they can get a big payday from a non-warranty customer (plenty of negative reviews from non warranty customers being over-charged). So I'm forced to wait the two weeks. Filed fist complaint with SquareTrade and Costco. Third visit. Axis canceled the original two week appointment because "the tech didn't want to work on a Monday", seriously, that was a quote from the receptionist, so one more day wait. Axis tech finally shows up, spends about 5 minutes looking under the dishwasher and states that an internal water hose cracked. Claimed it had nothing to do with their installation of the pump. Of course, they were the only people to work on the dishwasher and the dishwasher had been unplugged since.. So that was a lie..but more on that at the end of this story. He said he would have to order another part and would have to book a follow-up appointment. Basically filling a new claim with SquareTrade and creating a new billable event. When I notified SquareTrade that Axis planned on ordering another part it was escallated to their appliance specialist team.. They had me document the events of their repairs, the damage from the water, etc etc. Ultimately SquareTrade offered me a cash offer to buy a new dishwasher because of Axis' workmanship issues. While a new dishwasher is nice, I simply wanted a repair in a timely fashion and installed correctly. Or maybe just honesty if they made a mistake. I got zero from Axis. The story doesn't end here however. Once I received my settlement check from the warranty company I knew I just couldn't walk away. I highly suspected that Axis wasn't honest with me about the water leak (or even the new noise). These hoses dont split on their own. So I investigated my now bricked dishwasher and It took less than five minutes to identify the glaring issue. Axis damaged the pump hose when they replaced my pump. I took pictures of the hose and it clearly shows damage from something like pliers (you can see the ridges from the pliers). It didn't come this way from the factory. That goof alone cost SquareTrade $850. The fact Axis denied any wrongdoing...priceless... This is why Axis has hundreds of negative reviews. This is why you should REJECT Axis if your warranty company assigned your claim with them. You don't have to provide a reason why you want to reject a company, but it doesn't hurt to mention Axis' horrible reviews on Yelp and Google. Universal truths about Axis. * Receptionists are rude, even the positive reviews say that. * Techs were polite. * Terrible with appointments. You may or may not get notification of a cancelled appointment. * Axis is comfortable having a bad reputation as long as they keep getting paid. So if you want change and if you want to help others going forward you're going to have to lean on the warranty company and the business that sold you the extended warranty (Costco, Home Depot, Lowes, etc).. File corporate complains against them.. unfortunately that's the only way to get the right people the right information about repair shops like Axis. It was a complaint I filed with the BBB against SquareTrade that got an immediate response from corporate. They mailed me a check immediately.. My final words: This Polish proverb is very applicable to the owner of Axis.. loosely translated to English. "He who digs a pit for others will eventually fall in himself". read more

DO NOT use these guys especially if you are using a Home Warranty. They reported to the Home warranty company that we overloaded our washer machine and the Home Warranty denied our claim based on "abuse". The techs spent 10 min at my house and never asked me one question about how I load my washer. I have never ever overloaded our machine. It doesn't even have a scratch in it.
