    Cannot install rear panel

Repair Made Things Worse - Burned, Damaged, Still Not Working I had a refrigerator repair on 10/02/25 through Landmark Home Warranty, subcontracted to AZA Repair, and it was one of the worst service experiences I've ever had. After the visit, my refrigerator was still not working at all--in fact, after 24 hours it was warmer than before the "repair." On top of that, the technician actually caused new damage. He scorched my refrigerator with a blowtorch, leaving visible burn marks, and left copper lines sticking out nearly two inches. This not only prevents the rear panel from being reinstalled but also means the fridge can't be placed back against the wall without risk of damage to both the wall and the copper lines. The technician also left tools behind, oil and copper beads scattered across my kitchen, and tracked oil through my house. Worst of all, he left in a hurry without giving me any service slip or receipt and appeared to push the refrigerator only "mostly" back into place in a way that clearly looked like he was trying to conceal the scorch marks. When I called customer service, I was told no one could come back for at least a week--even though we had already been without a functioning refrigerator for two weeks. This level of negligence, damage, and lack of accountability is completely unacceptable. I strongly warn others against using this company.

Synopsis: Jason is a super knowledgeable, diligent, clean-as-you-go, and reasonably priced…read morehandyman. A born/raised Tucson family man. I would hire him again in a blink. He is preferably based on his namesake east side but will wander as far as midtown. I had several/varied projects needing attention - installation of a new dishwasher (and hauling away the old), installation of a kitchen sink garbage disposal (where there wasn't one at all), resolving a minor freezer issue (ice sheet forming at bottom, under the drawers) and replacing a strip of tile in front of the fireplace. All were completed A+ for a total of about $600 in labor, plus all the parts: $120 for the Costco disposal and another $100 in supplies (mortar, tile, grout, plumbing). This included a couple of 5 gallon buckets and a small circular tile saw blade (all of which I let Jason keep). Because the mortar needed to dry for at least 24 hours before grouting, the project spanned two Sundays... yes the man is his own boss and regularly works 6+ days/week. He's good about messaging too but sometimes cannot respond until evening... like 8pm. That never bothered me and my replies frankly encouraged it, Lol. I am a solid fan of the guy however do be aware he smokes the occasional cigarette but (on his own) always does so outside and never "in the middle" of a task, only during logical breaks (completion of disposal, completion of mortaring, etc.). I mention this only because I have an aunt who is actually allergic to cigarette smoke. Besides the reasonable/reliable and very experienced qualities, I think my favorite is that he doesn't mind you shadowing and (enthusiastically) explains any wrinkles or issues he spots as he's working, oftentimes the fault of the previous installer. Bonus, he warrants his work for a year.

According to Jason, he came /Saturday and Sunday. This is NOT TRUE! He also quoted me $60 after…read more my leaving several messages. No mention made of emergency charges. He says he had to expedite the part.- I found it available on Amazon and at Walmart among others- ranging in from about $11-30- He charged close to $100.. He says I pushed the frig back too far...NOT TRUE! He pushed it back right up to the wall! both Friday AND Saturday! (It is still in the same place!) He claims I was rude...then why give me a 40% "discount"? Why would I have given him a tip if I was such an awful person? Says I attacked him? HOW? NOT TRUE! Says no problem since..NOT TRUE! Still no ice although it seems motor is on. (have someone coming to look at it) He said I would have a full bi of ice by 24 hours. Texted 2x asking for copy of receipt for part-NO RESPONSE! Asked for explanation of his charges not including part and tax. NO RESPONSE! Now he says he will not honor warranty- If I had a copy f the part receipt, I could go back to the company if a problem in the next year. I would not want him back!
