This restaurant is amazing! We started with the avocado corn dip. It was tasty, but much more avocado than corn. There was really just a hint of corn. We had shrimp tacos, pork belly tacos, and carne Asada tacos. All were excellent. The rice and beans were fine, nothing to write home about. My wife and I have been dining at Azul for years so after tonight's dinner I realized that haven't reviewed them, better get to it. So because of the recent spike in COVID seating inside is limited but luckily the also have plenty of patio seating, though we decided to dine inside. Happy hour was still going so we both hit one of the house margaritas nice and refreshing you also get a carafe of water. Now here is an item not on the menu but when we first started coming to Azul one the waitress's suggested we get the black Cuban beans to go with our salsa and chips and we enjoyed them so much that we get them every time we dine there. My wife ordered a starter wedge salad for her appetizer while I chose the Caribbean shrimp ceviche. Her main was the salmon and mango salsa, I went with the carne asada. Our chips and salsa with the Cuban black beans arrived just before our appetizers did. My wife's salad was a good sized portion and my ceviche was a nice mix of fruit and vegetables and shrimp which I enjoyed very much it had jalapeños chopped up in it too. I used to order a ribeye here but it's no longer on the menu but tonight's steak was cooked perfectly and so flavorful. Watch out for their mashed potatoes they are spicy I think there's a jerk spice or something kicking it up a notch. The green beans are roasted with a garlic seasoning cooked just done and so good. The salmon and mango salsa is what my wife always orders and she still enjoyed it but she thinks the rice portion was smaller than she remembered but everything was delicious as usual. Also the wait staff is always super friendly and attentive. I ordered the creamy seafood enchilada, which was simply wonderful. I ordered a raspberry cheesecake for dessert. I thoroughly enjoyed the complementary chips and salsa. By the way, the salsa has some serious kick, but it is really awesome. The ambiance was pretty amazing: nice music and somewhat of a new-soul vibe. The server was very pleasant and accommodating. The cheesecake was very delicious as it came from the Cheesecake Factory. Nonetheless, the fresh seafood and roasted corn inside my enchiladas were freakin' fantabulous. I order from here at least every other week. I am never disappointed when I come here! They have a good variety of food on their Happy Hour menu which I love. My favorite thing to order from their main menu is their Carne Asada with a side of green beans and fries. I like to let the juices from the carne asada soak onto the fries because it gives it such a great flavor. You can never go wrong with their chips & salsa either!!! This was my first time in Mill Creek and I was so surprised to see how busy the restaurants were on a Tuesday evening. Get on the waitlist early or if your party is all over 21, you can get a table in the lounge/bar. Margaritas and food portions are huge! Complimentary chips and salsa are brought over for the table. We ordered a cauliflower tacos. It had coconut rice with it which was weird but I thought would be interesting to try that out. Cauliflower was completely bland. You hardly see avocado sauces in it. It was completely dry and no sauce. It's way too expensive for what it's worth. Wouldn't recommend for sure. read more

Fabulous service for lunch today with Sithill as our Server. We came in for a late lunch and were sat right away. Masks were worn by all the employees and all who were walking in the restaurant. First things first - the chips & salsa here are FIRE. The chips were warm each time they were served and the salsa was full of flavor and actually full of spicy flavor and just overallllll, lemme be real, I would've been happy with just those chips and salsa as my main course. The portions here are pretty big so although prices are a little high, you do get plenty of food. My friends were pretty happy with their meals, but I will say that the only complaint was regarding the taste of the black beans. My friend mentioned they were a bit tangy, and after tasting them, they were a bit sweeter than I'm used to and tasted slightly... fermented? Otherwise, her carnitas tasted pretty good. 4 star review for brunch on the weekends. I got the tomato avo eggs Benedict and I have been craving it again ever since! It was so flavorful and delicious. The potatoes were quite good as well and their salsa is just impossible not to devour. Came back a second and third time since and have gotten the fish tacos (3 stars, much too spicy for me and odd flavor), the pork something... My wife had been bugging me to try this place for years. Since it was her birthday, I asked her where she'd like to go for dinner and Azul was her choice. Why had I put this off for so long? My first impressions of a restaurant begins with the name and Azul just sounded foo foo to me. I hate foo foo, faddy, or hipster places. Other red flags for me are anything with "fusion" or "bistro" in the name. That said, I relented for my bride's birthday. When we arrived, I was pleasantly surprised by the relaxed atmosphere and the smell of delicious food. We were promptly seated and given the usual chips and salsa. The salsa was fantastic and chips served hot, but similarities to the usual Mexican restaurant pretty much end here. Their menu bears a resemblance to Mexican food, but has a unique take on it. I was a little concerned by this. I ordered the fish tacos, but substituted the flour (ewww, really?) tortillas for corn (as God intended). My bride ordered the same. We also ordered the artichoke dip. This is where my fears eased. That dip was amazing and was plated so nicely! Very tasty and different. Our orders arrived in a timely fashion and wow, again, VERY tasty and different! Everything tasted fresh and you could tell our meals were prepared by someone with mad cooking skills. All this was topped off with great, friendly service from our server, Jake. Jake even laughed when I joked that no, Pepsi is NOT okay instead of Coke. About the only negative were the wooden bench seats in the booth we were in. They were hard and uncomfortable and I was literally butt hurt from that. If your butt is as lightly padded as mine, you might want to bring a cushion. All in all though everything made for a wonderful evening together. We will definitely be back again. read more
