Azure serves a Greek inspired menu every weekend for their a la cart brunch, and so was this buffet. The food and service were excellent. There had to be at least 20 items including several dips, lamb, large prawns, eggs, bacon, sausage, assorted danish, veggies, & pitas just to name a few. There were some pastries for desert. **** ULTRA GOAT ROOFTOP BAR **** Our bartender told us that this rooftop bar will be closed for three months basically the entire summer within a couple of days for a huge renovation. The views are absolutely stunning on the rooftop. I love that you could see the skyline and the water views and all of the financial buildings and all of the new condos coming up. It is an absolute gorgeous view. I love the rooftop decor. It feels like you're in Greece. The best espresso martinis are at The Edition. P.S. 1st I've heard of 20% automatic gratuity charge... def worth it. It is one of the few places that I would agree for this type of charge. Phenomenal is the only way to describe this Mother's Day Brunch! My extremely generous son took his wife, me, his mother in law and the dads here for an incredible Mother's Day Brunch. The service was excellent. When we arrived we were all treated to a cocktail called Mother knows Best. This cocktail was delicious. The brunch was a buffet and it was definitely one of the best buffets I've been to. The food was incredible. The standout for everyone was The very large grilled Prawns. They were grilled to perfection right outside in the pool area. They were so delicious they didn't need a thing on them. Although, they had toppings available if you'd like. We started with the Mezze items and they were delicious. The eggplant, the Muhammara and the dolmades were so good! They had the most incredible sour dough pitas to go with all the dips! The eggs, the bacon, the leg of lamb the desserts. Everything was delicious and perfection. We all had an incredible time. Found Azure on TikTok as it is a popular photo opp destination in downtown Tampa. They were pretty crowded the night we went but the service was still great. We played it safe and ordered a burger and fries but it was still delicious. Paired with a glass of wine, made for a great experience. We recently came here for dinner. Here is what I thought. Atmosphere: Upon entering the hotel, we had to wait in line and get past a security guard to be let in, which was frustrating and annoying. The lobby at the Edition is full of TOO many plants, dark and very confusing. It took us 5 minutes to find the elevator up to Azure. The Azure space was not my taste. Everything is white and super modern. It also felt cramped and they were trying to push in as many people as possible. It felt like a club more towards the end because a DJ was playing loud music which we didn't enjoy with our meal. Restrooms: Restrooms were clean, but had very low lighting. Two of the sinks were out of soap. Service: The service was good, everyone we encountered was friendly and attentive. It was very loud inside so it was hard to understand our server. Food: This place is over rated. They have the smallest dinner menu and everything is WAY overpriced. They also give every menu item a super fancy name and list ingredients you can't pronounce/understand. Simplify the menu! I can get a similar better meal for cheaper at someplace else. We split their hummus which was ok, nothing to write home about. I tried their 'Lamb Meatballs' for my entree, it was a huge portion and the meatballs were a little too spicy for me. I had a side of 'Greek Fries' which were good. When I asked the waiter what 'Greek Fries' meant, I was expecting fries with feta cheese or a topping and the waiter just said it's regular fries. Why would you call it Greek fries when it's nothing fancy? My husband ordered a fish small plate which was entirely fried! He said it was too greasy and heavy. It didn't say anything on menu of it being fried. Our other friends said they liked their dishes but it wasn't anything extraordinary for the price. My husband described our dinner as the worst most expensive meal he's ever had. Overall, I think this place is a rip off and they're charging way too much for mediocre food. However, I would not recommend dining here, just only grab cocktails. This place is way over priced for average food. After a Girl's Dinner in the area, we stopped in just to grab a few drinks at the bar. Our bartender was Tee and OMG Tee sure can make a drink. I asked for an espresso martini with Don Julio Reposado, but they didn't have Reposado, just Blanco. I was hesitant, because I'm not a Blanco fan, but honestly, the drink was made so well, I couldn't even taste the difference. Although it was on the pricier side, that was one of the best espresso martini's I've ever had so it was well worth it to me. The restaurant changes menus at 5:30 so we sat having drinks after we were seated for 30 minutes so we could order off the full menu. We ordered the tuna tartare, the cauliflower entrees and the Lamb and a bottle of red blend wine. This restaurant is a bit pricey for a very casual pool side restaurant. This is not a restaurant that you dress up for? Again, pool side and you can order this food poolside or at least a limited portion if the menu. The only reason we ate here was having hotel credits to use toward dining. All the food was amazing. For my meal, I ordered both of the octopus appetizer dishes on the menu and had them come out at the same time as my husband's swordfish. The octopus was my favorite by far. My husband's swordfish was large chunks and cooked perfectly. The seasoning on everything was perfect. We ordered ice water to drink and no alcohol. Our bill was over $100 after tip. I don't believe this is a good value if you are paying out-of-pocket instead of using hotel credits. The restaurant is located on the ninth floor of the Tampa Edition hotel, which is a five-star hotel in the Tampa Bay area. The chef also has a Michelin star. I rarely leave reviews, but this experience was disappointing enough to warrant one. Armando our waiter was slow and inattentive. The place was not busy. As for the food -- unfortunately, it didn't redeem the experience. The humus appetizer was tasty and a healthy portion but came with four small slices of pita then charged for more to be able to enjoy the rest of the humus. The chicken kabob was dry and not a good flavor. The steak kabob was super salty and didn't care for the sauce on top. The lamb meatballs were the best of the three dishes ordered. Overall, this was one of the most underwhelming dining experiences I've had in a long time. It's sad because it's a beautiful rooftop with great views. We finished the evening by the pool where there was a live band and great atmosphere.Having paid $$$$ for 3 entrees, 4 drinks and 2 sides...I shouldn't be dissatisfied with the food or service. I celebrated a birthday with my girlfriends at AZURE back in December and we had a lovely evening at The Edition that night. This is one of the newer and pricier restaurants on the beautiful Water Street close to DT Tampa. The ambiance, service, and food were very-very good, so it's worth it. Their unbelievably gorgeous roof top / pool area is full of stunning flowers / greenery and has breathtaking views of Tampa Bay. The majority of items on the menu consist of Mediterranean things, which I love. Tuna Tartare and Grilled Octopus were delicious, but the Baby Kale & Gem Caesar was definitely worthy of Michelin-star (created by their chef John Fraser). Everyone loves a good Caesar salad but these mini, personal-sized leaves make a lovely presentation. My Lemon Drop sugar-rimmed martini was well-balanced and was made with perfect amount of Kettle One vodka. Unfortunately, this restaurant doesn't offer anything for birthdays (or at least our waitress did not offer anything to our table), but we opted in for Crispy Dough (Beignets) which had an amazingly yummy rosemary sugar and walnut honey dip - definitely recommend! Service by Kayla was top-notch as she was attentive, accurate with our order and provided a few recommendations to us. Have been looking forward to coming here and was pleased with our experience. My friend and I came here on a Saturday around 3pm. The hostess was super nice and let us know there was room at the bar. The bartenders here were very welcoming and were able to make us almost anything we wanted. Not sure exactly the names of the drinks, but they know what there doing here when you ask for a certain taste in mind. We ordered some appetizers, the grilled octopus and the tuna tartar. We were not much fans of the tuna tartar, as we didn't like the medateranian twist on it with the olives, and we were a but disappointed it didn't come with some sort of chips like most do. The Octopus on the other hand was delicious, cooked to perfection and seasoned well. I knocked a star because we didn't realize gratuity was already included and normally it is mentioned when the bill is given but wasn't. We ended up paying 20% more than we needed to which left us feeling like we overspent and it was not a great feeling. Would love to come back here and try the restaurant inside as well. Sunsets, skylines and good times are all on the menu at Azure at Edition. We dined on everything veg-friendly and delicious on the rooftop, from the shishito peppers and edamame and the grilled broccolini, to the spice crusted cauliflower with dried fruit and Peoria crumble feta purée. If I hadn't been so entranced with the beautiful sunset, I may not have ever taken my attention away from that incredible cauliflower dish. Located at the top of The Edition Hotel, this is probably one of the most visually appealing restaurants in town. Lots of photo opportunities! Like the restaurant, he was full of life and endless vibe! The other personnel that assisted, Matthew, was the total opposite. Dreary to the point of rude and what was most disappointing is spilling the oyster ice platter on me and the table and not acknowledging it. I had to ask him for a table cloth as he watched me clean the mess. I deducted 2 stars for this! We did speak to the manager who just apologized and walked away. The service here does not match with the standard that they trying to enforce. 1/5 The food was delicious. Although on the pricey side, everything I ate (as pictured minus the oysters) was tasty. The fritto Mixto isn't worth it for a group because it comes with 2 fried shrimp and 4 calamari. Honestly, for the party of 6, you will need quite a few dishes well to try to satisfy a group that large. Would give this place zero stars if I could. We came with reservations on a Saturday night and the service was AWFUL. We were sat immediately but the waiter didn't come take our drink orders for another 15min. Even after that he still didn't bring us water. It took 40 minutes to bring out our food and no one checked up on us at all. For some reason our appetizers and entrees came out at the same time so we just sat with nothing for 40 minutes. I got the swordfish which came out on metal skewers that were literally fresh out and super hot. The restaurant is fairly dark so I didn't notice they were metal and no one told me that they would be hot. Burnt my thumb pretty good. At the end, we had to ask two different waiters for our bill because the ours just never came. I get that they're busy but I probably would've gotten better service at a takeout place. Her total look & vibe fits the Edition brand to the max. Good time and the best service at Azure. When you walk outside, you are immediately hit with the majestic garden decor on the outdoor bar. Beyond that are some of the best 360 degree views of Tampa, the Bay,etc. We were seated at a table by the bar. We started with an Espresso Martini and a Casa Amigos Margarita. The bar tender was generous with the liquor and the afternoon started to melt away. The drinks were so good, even w/o the extra liquor. The "restaurant" is truly beautiful. I say "restaurant" because the vibe is more of a cocktail bar that also has food. There are lots of plants and the furniture is all neutral tones, giving a White Lotus resort look. I went for dinner with a few girls. We each ordered our own small plates/ appetizers, which were tuna tartare, baba ghanoush, a Caesar salad, and hummus. We shared a bottle of riesling and the fried chicken, which was a whole chicken that was sectioned into pieces and fried. It was served with a habanero honey sauce, french fries, and ketchup. The chicken was delicious and after feeding the four of us we still went home with a few leftover pieces. The flavor and portion size of the chicken justified its price. In a perfect world it would be closer to $40, but you are paying for the location and exclusivity. Our server Justin treated the table to classes of brut that he advised would complement the chicken. Even without the complementary drink, he was a great server who explained the menu to us, was not annoyed when we asked for more time to review, and was helpful and courteous throughout the night. The prices were not unbearable considering we shared everything, but Azure is NOT cheap. Cocktails started at $18 and mock tails were $15. The burger was $24. A negative of the experience- we ordered two dips and two appetizers. The entire table was given one small basket of pita. We asked for a second basket, only to find later that 4 pita triangles added $10 on the bill. The prices and limited menu selection are what brought this review to 4 stars instead of 5. This is definitely not the best option for a dinner, but if you are going for drinks and lite fare and are ready to spend some money, then this could be a 5 star experience. read more

I've already been back like 4 times already. I LLOOOVVVEEEEE the tuna dish pictured. I enjoyed that at the outside bar and enjoyed the scenery. I was suggested to try the kiwi martini and it is delicious. They don't play games with the potency so drink responsibly. I'm not a fan of espresso martinis usually but theirs was delicious!! The edamame appetizer was wonderful as were the mussels. I wasn't a fan of the baba ganouj but that's because I prefer it prepared more traditionally so I don't fault them for that. There is intimate seating area that is incredible for date night. I'd suggest going at night or in the winter because it does get extremely hot in the daytime out there.
