B-Balls Meatballs is the perfect meatball spot for a quick and tastey meal. We were greeted by the owner, Lance, who explained the menu to us and offered great suggestions. Luckily I brought my husband and we picked two subs, so we could each have half. If you make the sandwiches schweaty, it adds extra ricotta and everything melt in your mouth. The sandwich bread has the perfect crisp to it and you can hear the crunch in every bite. We had a regular meatball sub(and one that was meatball and sausage (both were schweaty) . It was nice that they had tables to sit at and it had come right out of the oven. After enjoying a nice chat with the owner, he had a cleverly designed door that he could open from behind the counter. So many choices here, can't wait to come back. read more

Whether I've gone early in the day or late, the pizza has dried cheese spots and the crust is hard, grey and slightly burnt. Seems like they serve the previous days left over pizza to certain customers. read more

real tasty breakfast sandwiches. got a bacon egg and cheese on a bagel and it was just made very very well. I just wish they opened earlier. I've tried many other breakfast sandwiches nearby (not including any "fancy breakfast sandwiches" in ranking) and this one has been on top! Corner deli turned meatball purveyor with a sense of history. Very casual setting with a few tables and chairs and barstools. Neat trick to open the door for customers carrying out with their hands full. Friendly person behind the counter. Fun extensive menu of meatball sandwiches, even with one vegetarian and one seafood option among the dozens with meat. French bread for the sandwiches was perfectly toasted; I keep thinking about it. Sandwiches were generously sized. Well-spiced Wild One (I think it was) with chili and fries got a 4/5 in our book. Also got the seafood balls, which were appreciated as a non-meat option and were a 3/5 in our opinion. Maybe would be tastier if the ample helping of tartar sauce were more spread out? read more

I had the most amazing meatball sub today. It was a tough choice with so many options but the brown gravy caught my palette so I went for the Disco Balls Sandwich and it did not disappoint. Excellent done meatballs and the unexpected toasted roll made it perfect. Can't wait to try some others. read more

I had to meet someone in Suffern and looked at google maps to see what was around. B-Balls Meatballs stuck out and I just knew this was my kind of place. Ordered 3 meatball sandwiches which were all amazing. I like that you can actually eat the sub without having to use a knife and fork like usual meatball subs. You may look at the menu and wonder if they are crazy but everything I had was sooo good. I even ordered a sub special when I got there because it sounded good and it was. Staff was super friendly and the food was ready on time and fast when i ordered in the restaurant. Parking is on street and because it's not a main drag it's super easy to find parking. We take-out from here a few times per month and I have to say, B-Balls is consistently excellent every time! My favorite hero is their Disco-Balls. Delicious, fresh tasting meatballs served on a a crusty hero roll with piping hot brown gravy, fried onion rings, and mozzarella cheese. A few days ago, I went there and had 2 plain slices in person. Gotta say, the pizza was a perfect 10. Slightly sweet tasting sauce, quality not greasy cheese and the crust is super thin and flavorfull. The staff is friendly, prices are reasonable. Can't ask for more. Highly recommend for anyone looking for quality, mom/pop made food. read more

This was my first visit to B-Balls Meatballs. This is not a spot that you are likely to happen upon. Luckily, it was marked and sounded interesting on Google Maps. It was a Thursday at 3:45pm. I ordered the Mystery Balls Sandwich which turned out to be ziti which I feel comfortable disclosing on the last day of the month. I enjoyed my meal while watching General Hospital and local news on ABC on Verizon which I know because connection was lost for a few seconds. I experienced great service and tasty balls. read more

We came across this place after missing the exit for our favorite pizza joint between NYC and Boston. It's a bit off the beaten path for that journey, but definitely worth it. I'll keep it short and sweet - the staff is amazingly welcoming, the meatballs are tender and flavorful, the bread is homemade, and the locally made cheesecake is some of the best I've ever had. We will be taking the extra hour route from now on just to hit this place up. read more

I got to try other sandwiches, but the one I did get was very good. If you are looking for a cheat day, and want some meatballs, come here. They have a ton of different meatball subs, all with funny names like the blue balls sandwich. A lot of them are a spin on a fat sandwich, with meatballs. I got the disco balls, think disco fries with balls instead of fries. They gravy was very good, flavorful, and reminded me of diner gravy. The meatballs were tender and not overcooked. The bread that it was served on was a nice roll with a lot of sesame seeds. I wish the sandwich had more cheese and more onion rings, it was lacking of both. I will be back to try some more balls! read more

I discovered this place when my hunger forced me off the highway. Love the big windows and lots of light in this small business. The owner looked and sounded like he was the winner of a NY deli owner contest - accent, attitude and gold chain. He made it clear that everything was available and delicious but if I wanted breakfast I should try the "B-BOMB". This monster breakfast sandwich had fresh Italian bread brought in from the Bronx every day. It was loaded with bacon and egg and cheese and sausage and potatoes...and....and...and...it was LOADED! Huge delicious sandwich. I told myself I would save 1/2 for later. I saved 1/4 but even that nub didn't make it 50 miles up the road. Mmmmm. A couple of old timers were hanging out talking about the meaning of life. I didn't see an easy to get to bathroom which is a downer but I guess a restaurant has to have something for the public. I am eager to return to have some meatballs. I shall return. read more

I found this little gem while in a nearby town. I am a huge fan of meatballs, so I was excited about a place that specialized in making them. I ordered the whole package and a pizza with pepperoni and meatballs. Starting with the sandwich, it had a nice balance between the meatball, sausage, and sauce. I wish it had more cheese but that is just my preference. As for the pizza, it was equally delicious. The crust was nice and crispy and it held up the toppings very well. I do not like too much sauce on my pizza and I thought they did a great job balancing the sauce and cheese. I actually ended up ordering another pizza a few days later. It is literally a hidden gem within a residential area. Give it a shot. read more

Delicious and tasty sandwiches! I ordered the Fishy ball and butcher sandwich! Both was hearty and yummy! The fishy ball had crab and shrimp with like kinda tarter sauce on it with cheese. It's amazing! I had a few bites of the butcher and they had real steak in the sandwich which was delicious! I recommend this place! Definitely coming back for more balls :)! read more

I chose burnt ends and they were burnt, juicy, smoky and delish!!! They came with a two bottles of extra BBQ sauce. I chose Cole slaw as my side and it included a mini cornmeal loaf. I love Cole slaw, but not any Cole slaw. It needs to be not too thick and gloopy and has to have tang. This one did. It was very good. The band was great. They played well and people were up dancing. All in all a fun time with good food.

Thin crispy. Cooked perfectly. The attendant was professional, smiled and helpful. In out and quickly on my way. It was still hot when I got home and not soggy as sometimes can happen. The place is well tended to as is clean. Easy in and out of the complex. Plenty of parking. They accept cash and credit cards. If you are craving Italian food that is the real thing, I highly recommend Sony and Tony's.

But for quick takeout, it does the job. The menu is pretty large and includes typical Italian fare (pasta, pizza, salads, chicken dishes, etc). I think they do pasta dishes best, particularly their chicken Alfredo and chicken parm. I tried their buffalo chicken pizza most recently, and although it was perfectly cheesy, I wasn't a fan of their buffalo sauce. It a tastes like a mix between buffalo and tomato, not your typical buffalo sauce you'd find on a pizza or wings. If you're looking for quick, casual Italian food in the area, it's a decent option.
