I didn't go back to show them my foot with any expectations, but I certainly didn't expect to get insulted by her basically calling me a liar!! I wanted them to see what happened. Needless to say I will never be back and I will tell my friends not to go there either!! Think twice before you go there because they will blame you for what they did.

I walked in for a milky white French tip this week but a lady with blonde hair told me that my nail beds were "too dark" for the style when I showed her a picture of what I wanted. This a French tip where the base is milky white instead of pink or neutral. I've gotten this style before and it has nothing to do with the color of your skin, it's simply a different color polish. I thought maybe she couldn't understand me so I showed her a picture of someone with darker skin that had it and she told me that she'll do it but she'd have to charge me $5 extra dollars and that she's not taking it off if I don't like it. What? I ended the service there and walked out after paying $50 for my half done pedicure. I went to another nail salon that said "of course we can do that" immediately. Over time this nail salon has improved their pedicure chairs and the inside looks really nice but the people there don't stay on top of trends and can only do basic styles.

I went in for a pedicure and needed acrylic on my big toes due to them breaking off. I typically like my toes to have sharper edges and for the length to be at where my skin ends. Two different women did my toes that I've never seen before and they filed my toes all the way down to the point at which I had to put my hand in the way and beg them to stop filing! They ended up having to do two extra nails with acrylic due to their error and my toe nail shapes are all weird and I was over filed to where one of my toes is still currently bleeding! It took her 2.5 hours to do my toes and by the end I ended up paying $120 (including a 20% tip because that's my standard). I wanted to crying during the whole service. It took me YEARS to find a good salon and they are going down hill! Also the new owner is lying to clients about nail techs saying they are on vacation. Come to find out, they are quitting in droves. He's a terrible manager and lacks customer service training. Off to find another salon willing to listen to what the client wants and not leave me with injuries!!

While this was happening, my daughter needed to use the bathroom and I was trying to get the technician's attention, but she completely ignored me. I had also asked if they could wait to start my daughter's toes until I finished my nails so I could sit with her, but the technician insisted "it's fine, I got it" and started anyway. Overall the service felt rushed and inattentive, and the quality did not match what we paid. I was really hoping for a good experience doing something fun with my daughter, but we left disappointed.

While we were waiting, only one of my children was taken back, and the other was left waiting for about 30 minutes without any explanation. My pedicure was even more concerning. The technician was extremely rough throughout the service. He cut the bottom of my foot and two of my toes, yet never apologized or adjusted his technique. For a pedicure that started at $35 and ended up costing $55 with gel polish, I expected a much higher level of care and professionalism. The cuts ultimately became infected, which is unacceptable for a service that should prioritize cleanliness and client safety. Based on this experience, I will not be returning. I hope management addresses these issues to prevent other customers from having a similar experience.

It was loud (not a biggie) so we got some great ol fashioneds at the bar, then inched our way to center dance floor where we didn't stop dancing to the band til 1 pm when they stopped.....we had so much fun, we (and others) wanted them to keep playing. It did cost me $25 cover (wife was free). I was ok with this. i think before 9 it's free to get in. Amazing night.

It's also reasonably priced, though be aware this is a cash only establishment, so no cards, but they do have an ATM. Overall, Good Times Barbershop lives up to its name.
