Came in last saturday (today make 1 week exactly) sat down with angel. started off lovely we discussed the pedicure and full set I wanted. My pedicure took so long that I felt bad I told her I could come back tomorrow if it works better. (trying to be considerate of her time) she made a phone call to her babysittwr and said she was fine to do my nails. I paid in the middle of doing my nails. She forgot that I wanted one of my nails painted differently and quote said "it works out because I didn't charge you for it." Long story short 3 days after my full set the first nail fell off. the next day the 2nd one popped off. Last night the THIRD ONE came off. I wrote her on instagram on thursday and she was defensive and said she told me this "could" happen. NOT ONCE did she. I absolutely LOVE Alys! She does an amazing job every time. Alys pays so much attention to detail and ensures that your nails and cuticles get as much if not more attention than the artwork. She is so creative and has never shied away from any design I request. On top of all of that my nails last for 4-6 weeks. I rarely leave negative reviews, but our experience here was unacceptable. My nails lifted and started falling off the same day I got them done. When I brought it up, there was no refund or discount offered--only an offer to have the same tech fix them almost a week later, which didn't make sense given how quickly they failed. Even worse, my sister's pedicure left her with a bleeding hole in her foot. Again, there was no apology, no concern, and no effort to make it right. When we mentioned our issues, the manager's attitude was unbelievable. She was rude, dismissive, and clearly irritated that we even brought it up, despite the fact that we weren't demanding anything--just explaining what went wrong. Her behavior alone was enough to make us decide not to return. Overall: poor service, poor quality, and unprofessional management. I love this place! I've been about 10 times and had a variety of technicians. Eve and Stephanie will always blow you away with the care and quality of their gel manicures. (And nail art!) I like to go about once a month, and I've found my gel manicures last about that long. Of course the nails grow out but chipping is minimal and I am typing and doing dishes every day. I even went camping and hiking with my current set and it looks immaculate still. The picture is my nails currently, and I will have had them for two weeks on Saturday. I have also gotten a few pedicures and my only issue is that everyone does it differently- some give you the hot towel and some don't. Some let you soak first, some don't. This place got me in so last minute. I didn't have a lot of time and they made sure to get me out in the time that I had. They were so nice. I got a gel mani & gel pedi. I am very particular and picky about my nails I like my cuticles cut my nails kept at a medium length with a square shape and rounded corners so I don't cut myself. I always check to make sure they are exactly as I wanted. I kept nitpicking and they were so sweet and kind and actually grateful that I was pointing out things immediately and they were quick to fix them perfectly. I stumbled upon this place because of Yelp and I am happy I did! I was needing a manicure and pedicure before a trip. I called to make an appointment and they were able to accommodate right away. I wish I had gotten the name of my nail lady because I would recommend her. She was so kind and very detailed. I have been looking for a new nail salon close to home and put out a request for recommendations on the Skye Canyon neighbors group and had several people recommend this place right away. I went into today and had a wonderful experience. Calling to schedule was easy, the person answering the phone was friendly and helpful. I was greeted immediately upon arrival and everyone was friendly, the environment was warm and welcoming and the salon is clean. I did wait about 20 minutes for them to start my pedicure but they had me soaking and I was there to relax so I didn't mind. I went with a regular mani and hot stone pedi. Both were wonderful, relaxing and not rushed. They turned away numerous walk in clients and they did so so that they did not have to rush the clients already in chairs. I appreciate that. They had a huge color selection as well. It was a great experience. The only "down" side is they have a TV and it was kind of loud if you wanted to relax but by no means is it a deal breaker for me. I saw Cena (I hope I am spelling that correctly) and she was so friendly and talkative and wonderful. Check this place out. Moved into this side of town. Wanted my French gel manicure and pedicure. The younger lady who sits in the back corner right was the one that attempted to do my nails. She was Tami g out so much of my natural nail that I told her to please minimize removing the natural nail. She then proceeded to continue, removing the nail even deeper in the cuticle. My nails are still damaged from this and this was in the end of last August. She started doing the French and she couldn't get the fingers to be equal to one another and had to redo it a few times, I gave up and said I'll just have the base and that's when she sent somebody else to do the French. I didn't think there was enough time soaking the feet and it seemed that the technician finished really quickly but the job was done sufficiently. The nails looked fine but not overly impressive. She does have another shop on Lone mountain as well! It's also called 'Your Nail Salon'. I will usually show her examples of what I want my nails to look like and she will pick out my colors for me. I usually do acrylic nails with gel polish. I believe the shape she does is almond. Her prices are great and my nails last such a long time. I came in to get a new set of acrylics and was quoted $60 over the phone. I told her that I wanted nail art and she let me know that would be extra but that's okay because it always is so I expected that. I came in for my appointment at 3pm and got my nails prepped but my cuticles weren't cut, but everything else about the nails at that point (acrylic laying and shaping) was fine. She does the glitter and black french tip but lets me know she's gonna hand me over to another girl to do the nail art, so I head over to the second girl. She does my pinky designs and those are fine, but then she moves onto the ring fingers and I tell her that I'm not sure about them. She fixes them up a little bit more and I'm sure that, once we add a charm to it, the ring fingers will be good so we keep going. She moves onto my thumbs and draws the stars I wanted, but they were misshapen. At this point, I'm not feeling too good about it, but wanted to see if the chrome powder on the stars would fix it. It didn't, it actually just messed it up even more and we move onto the charms. She goes to look for the little silver balls and charms in the picture I showed her but comes back and tells me that they don't have any of them at all and shows me rhinestones that I could do instead. At this point, I'm very overwhelmed and disappointed because it's been a little over 2 hours (my normal nail appointments with the same amount of art usually takes an hour and a half max) and they're not turning out at all how I wanted and I start to cry. The girl and another tech there were so sweet about it, asking me what was wrong, what they could do to fix them, gave me water and tissues, and assured me that I could take as long as I want to get them fixed. So, I sheepishly asked if she could take off the designs but I felt horrible about it because I didn't want to waste her time, but every time I brought it up, she assured me that it was okay and that I could take all the time I needed. She sands off the designs and fixes the french tips, but during that process, she smudged black polish on my nails and fingers, didn't get the chrome powder off, and messed up the texture and shape of my nail, leaving them uneven, messy, and with a bumpy texture. She didn't have me wash my hands at all during any of this as well as didn't oil my cuticles or put lotion on my hands. At the end, she told me "it's a shame it didn't work out but can I take a picture of your design idea so I can do it on myself?" and I let her. She checked me out and my total was $85 but I felt horrible so I left a $10 tip, making my total $95. I didn't want to push the issue even further as, at this point, I had been there for almost three hours and was crying still. I cry on the way home and decide to call and see if there's anything I can do, because I'd rather have my money back than these nails on my hands. I call, explain the situation, and ask if I can get a refund at all. The lady on the other end lets me know that she's going to go get her manager to see, so I wait on the line and suddenly, I'm hung up on. I thought it may just have been a mistake, so I call back and explain my situation again and that I had just called. I'm extremely upset at this point, even telling the lady on the other end that they could clip the nails off me if it meant getting my money back because I genuinely hate my nails that much. She tells me that I should've said something if I didn't like them, but I continuously told her that I did many times. She also told me that I could not get a refund because of all the time and product spent on them, to which I told her that two of the nail techs there assured me that time didn't matter. I also brought up the fact that I was quoted $60 but was charged $85, where she told me that the glitter, french tip, and long length I got were extra and that they actually did me a favor and took off $10 from the original price because of the fact I didn't like them. Mind you, I was not told that my nail length would be extra, as well as not being told how much the french and glitter would be on top of the base set after I had asked on the phone how much nail art was. She continued to tell me that there are no refunds and is making me feel like it's my fault that it took so long and that I didn't say anything, even though I stated I really didn't like them at all while I was there. I tried to explain further that they are not what I wanted and that I really do not like them, that they are messed up, and that I would just like to have my money back, even saying that they could cut the nails off my hands if it meant I could get my money back. In the middle of me talking, the lady on the other end just says in a very mean-spirited and sarcastic way, "Oh well I'm sorry. Bye." and proceeds to hang up on me. I'm just really upset because this is the first time in four months I've been able to afford nails. Sadly, not a good experience at all and I won't be coming back. read more

Such a horrible experience and will not be back. The nail tech (JoAnn) was rude and short with me. She was negligent and wasn't paying attention to what she was doing while doing my pedicure and clipped my toe. My toe was gushing blood. Her hands were covered in blood and so were mine and she still tried to continue working on the rest without addressing the blood. After I requested to get something to stop the bleeding, she mumbled that she was sorry and blamed it on my toes being too close together. I should've left at this point. Extremely annoyed with this place. I received a full set less than 2 weeks ago, paid $90 for the set and 3 nails have already broken and/or popped off. The first one happened less than a week after. I was able to return to the shop and have those fixed. I was on vacation this past weekend and two more broke. One broke while rolling down a car window and the other while putting on my jeans.
