    Omlette Fried Rice
    Nette B.

I always enjoy going to Babaystacks no matter the location. I've been ordering take out here for a while now and I love the Portuguese Sausage fried rice omlette. It's delicious and and it's cooked perfectly. When I dined inside the service was awesome. I love supporting local businesses.

A couple things here - your ENTIRE party needs to be with you in order for them to sit you, even if they just saw the other person go to the restroom. Strange. Also, on the counter there is a sign that says: "BRING ME COFFEE AND TELL ME I'M PRETTY" so we figure it's a thing there. Anyways, once we got to our table, it was wobbling like crazy, it definitely wasn't something we could have our food on. Eventually someone came to put something underneath it and stabilize it. Now, when the server came and asked if we'd like something to drink, both my brother and I wanted coffee, so we said what their sign says...the woman looked confused. I had to say, your sign says that, and she was still confused, so we just said coffees and waters and let her move on. All the while my brother and I could not stop laughing. Guess we're not pretty. HA! Anyways, the food was alright, nothing to brag about. They have tons of pancakes to choose from put seemed like a lot of sugar goes into it, so we got the traditional buttermilk on the side. I can't really touch on the taste of the food because it didn't stand out very much that day. Same with the service, not amazing, not too awful either, just kind of slow and not super attentive. Overall, I might give it a go again next time I'm out there, maybe the next person will get the "BRING ME COFFEE AND TELL ME I'M PRETTY" joke and laugh with us.

    Ube Crepe (single)

It was a busy Sunday morning, around 940am so it was a bit to get seated at the counter. Service was good except there is a noticeable vibe to get you in and out as soon as possible given they were having a waitlist. Definitely understandable, but a lazy Sunday breakfast meet up with family and friends, maybe not. Coffee is still pretty good here and a must for refills. Order: Sisig Plate and a single Ube Crepe. The Sisig I was expecting is usually a dish known for its savory, tangy, and rich flavor, with a mix of textures from the tender and crispy pork. Unfortunately this one was missing that citrus acid flavor you get. It seemed to be more vinegar tasting, and lacking the calamansi/lemon component. The pork was somewhat crispy but the cuts were a bit big which made it very chewy. The over medium eggs requested was more towards over easy. Let's just say the dashes of Cholula hot sauce helped this dish out tremendously. The Garlic Fried Rice that accompanied the Sisig had garlic which was a good thing but was pretty bland. I was looking for some soy sauce but settled on a bit of salt to bring out that wonderful garlic flavor. The Ube Crepe was okay but needed more ube flavor. The Ube cream inside was more like a watered down ube foam. There are still other items on the menu that are pretty good but these two are a miss for me. The coffee and service saved the day.

adobo fried rice omelette // ig: @nigirigirlsforever

Food was yummy but the service for a group of fourteen was fantastic! They were attentive, organized, and efficient and the food came out quickly and all at once. We got a variety of things, but the ones I tried bites of were the corned beef hash, the sisig plate, the chicken adobo fried rice, and the loco moco. I think the standout for me was the adobo fried rice omelette--that was sooooo good and I just wanted to keep eating it. The sisig plate was okay, gave me more hash vibes than sisig but it was definitely yummy. The garlic rice was peak. The loco moco was alright--I'm glad I tried it, but I wouldn't get it myself. Their hash browns were super crispy and yummy. I didn't try any pancakes which perhaps was an oversight because they did look tasty, but I try to stay in gluten-free solidarity with my partner. If they had a GF pancake option that would've been amazing. All in all a good place for breakfast! Would definitely come back, and next time get the adobo fried rice omelette.

We've lived nearby for a few years now and the corn beef hash was pretty delicious

Well today is my birthday ! Yay for me decided to come out for breakfast. I always order the same thing and when I asked about the pork our waitress batted her eyelids in a very rude way even my husband noticed! Be better! Truly wanted to get up and never come back. If you don't like answering questions about the menu then you should probably not be a waitress! That is it! I love the food but service today sucked!

    Red Velvet Pancakes
    Gretchen V.

Came in a little after 7am for breakfast and as usual-- the food did not disappoint! The adobo fried rice omelette was flavorful and comforting-- packed with savory goodness. And the red velvet pancakes? Soft, rich and topped with just the right amount of whipped cream and sweetness. Definitely a must-try if you've got a sweet tooth! As for customer service-- it was just okay. I might've come in too early while the staff was still waking up but the vibe felt a little off. I'm probably just used to the extra warm hospitality from other breakfast spots. Still, the food makes it worth coming back-- especially for those pancakes!

    Club sandwich

I have a craving every so often for a club sandwich. There is one place I really like, however, I decided to give this place a try, so I ordered a club to go. The service was good, I was greeted as soon as I walked in. I said I wanted to order something to go and my order was immediately taken and I was told about 15 minutes which was pretty much correct. When I got home, I sat down to eat my sandwich and was a little disappointed. This place is definitely a breakfast place and prides themselves on breakfast. As for a lunch place, I would not recommend this place. I asked for sourdough bread toasted. When I got home, it was sourdough but it was not toasted. Also the meat, turkey and ham, meat I could have gone across the parking lot and purchased at Smiths. Honestly, it was not very good and not something I recommend. Like I said, they take a lot of pride in being a breakfast place which I've been to for breakfast and they are really good. So, I do recommend this place, just not for lunch. Breakfast, I don't think you will be disappointed.

    Kalbi Beef Ribs & Eggs
    Nayyirah F.

Visited here for a quick breakfast. I was so overwhelmed by the menu because everything looked good and I couldn't decide what I wanted. I ordered the kalbi with garlic rice and scrambled egg. The rice was probably my favorite, it was so flavorful. My fiancé ordered the piggy omelet (think that's what it was called) and he said it was good but there was too much cheese on top. I want to come back and try other meals.

    Cowboy omelette. SOO GOOD!
    Shannon W.

We had to wait a while but once we got seated our food was brought out quickly. Had the loco moco here with scrambled eggs and it was delicious! The eggs were perfectly soft and smooth. The Ube pancake was also very good and not too sweet which is perfect. Still so good even after all these years!

BabyStacks Cafe is our go to family breakfast place in the Northwest. Staff is always friendly. Busy location but clean and tide interior and restrooms. Food is always great. My coffee cup is constantly refreshed. Can't go wrong here. From their crepes, delicious pancake options to their filling yummy omelettes.

    Antonio M.

Waiting for 45 minutes while nine tables sat empty was disappointing. Once seated, it took another 25 minutes before our order was taken. The food itself was tasty and didn't take long to arrive, but the waitress made it clear that they were understaffed, which impacted the overall experience. If you're starving and looking for smooth service, you may want to look elsewhere. Although the flavors were spot-on, the long wait times and lack of efficiency killed the vibe, making it hard to award five stars. Sometimes good food alone isn't enough--especially when the rest of the experience falls short.

Babystacks Café in the Centennial area is a great spot for breakfast. The service was friendly, the food came out fast, and everything was cooked just right. I had a standard breakfast with eggs, bacon, hash browns, and toast.... and it all hit the spot. Cozy atmosphere, good portions, and reasonable prices make it worth a visit.

Is there any entree that is gluten free here? Does this restaurant use a shared fryer for things like battered chicken that would cross contaminate foods like gluten free french fries? I have Celiac disease and have to eat gluten free.

Do they offer gluten free pancakes or waffles?

Do they do reservations or call aheads?

Unfortunately they do not. You'll have to get there before 8. I've noticed a pattern in the timing of how busy they are. If you get there between 7-8 you should be ok.

They served us water quickly as we looked at the menu. I ordered the sizzling pares which was tender marinated beef cubes with a side of garlic rice and an egg on top. My mom ordered the grilled pork chop and lemongrass chicken with the garlic rice. All of our dishes came with a fried egg on top. Everything was very flavorful. Highlight was the sizzling pares with the rice and egg. With the sweet sauce mixed in with the rice, it was perfection. We had a little bit of leftovers for lunch the next day and left satisfied. One thing that could be improved was the cleanliness. The booth that we were seated at was by a wooden panel. When the sunlight hits it at an angle, you could see the oil streaks and it didn't seem too clean. Floors were a bit dirty too. A little bit more cleanliness would make the atmosphere better. We would come again!

I saw a fly on the buffet line, and I also observed a woman in the kitchen handling and preparing food without wearing gloves. Seeing that immediately killed my appetite. Food safety and sanitation are non-negotiable for me. The buffet selection also felt disappointing. There weren't any new dishes compared to my first visit, and several items seemed to be made with lower-quality ingredients than I remembered. The service was just as disappointing. I came during lunch, and several employees were sitting together at a table eating with their hands while customers were walking around needing assistance. No one seemed interested in checking on guests or providing service. It gave the impression that staff meals were a higher priority than the paying customers. I really wanted to like this place because my first experience was positive, but this visit changed my opinion completely. Between the sanitation concerns, lackluster food, and poor customer service, I won't be returning and unfortunately can't recommend it.

They also advertise as a seafood grill, yet there were no seafood options during our visit. There's a $4 upcharge for lechon belly, but no other pork dishes were offered--no pork adobo, no lechon kawali. If you're charging extra for a premium item, there should at least be other standard pork options included.
