    Loco moco

So so ono! Located on Buffalo & Smoke Ranch on the NE corner, BabyStacks has been here for years! Specialty pancakes and Aloha flavors - great combo! We went on a Thursday morning & they were busy the whole time! We ordered loco moco & huevos rancheros. Yummmmmmmy! Loco moco had a pancake option, and I did a chocolate chip pancake to bring back the kiddo in me. Service was good, restaurant is quaint, no outdoor seating, and gender neutral bathrooms. Hit 'em up, Vegas! Support local!

If I was doing this review solely on my pancakes and their friendliness than it would be a 5. However, I was given silverware that was sticky, which was kinda gross. Their bananas foster pancakes are fluffy but somehow coated in the most delicious syrup that you'd want to lick the plate and soak it all up. The portions are also kinda insane for the prices making it a great local alternative to IHOP or Dennys.

Fajitas omelette with hash browns and buttermilk pancakes

Don't get here often, but every time I go I think, man I need to come here more often! Ordered the fajita omelette with a side of buttermilk pancakes. You get a choice of potato or rice, so I went with the hash browns. Omelette was delicious and stuffed with meat and peppers. I smeared sour cream over each bite and ate the entire thing. Hash browns were crisp and delicious. Only thing left was about a quarter of the pancakes. Service was good, friendly and efficient. Coffee was good too Real small inside, you essentially sit on top of each other, not a fan of that but it's a small complaint Loved it and can't wait to go back

Love a local breakfast spot. They have several locations in town but this is my favorite. This restaurant is small so time your visit to avoid the lines. The food is always delicious. My go to is the spam scramble with German chocolate pancakes. Portion sizes are big and it will fill you up. I always have to get a box. My little one loves the Tiegan's Plate with Red Velvet pancakes. Wide variety of pancake flavors and many of the breakfast items have an Island flare. They serve lunch too but I always stick with breakfast because it's my fave. I come here often as the service is good and the food never disappoints!!

I went searching for other places that have Hawaii island type food and this location came up so I went to try it out. The place is small but clean. I had great service there and my food came out pretty quick. I ate the Hawaiian chili skillet with steamed rice, but I ended up getting a Hawaiian chili omelet instead I think. Either way the portions were good and the chili wasn't that bad at all. It's not Zippy's chili but it's ok. Next time I go there it will be Loco Moco time!!!

My second time here in this place in LV. I really love this Hawaiian Filipino restaurant. The place is not overly decorated and has some cute sayings on wall. It is also clean and airy even if it's full in capacity. It's beautiful to see their offerings. The food came fast and well presented beautifully. They offer all these delicious ube crepes and pancakes. They also have tres leches and let's not forget the Hawaiian pork kalua. Each delicious pack full flavor of every ingredients they put in each meal. The French fries are crunchy and flavorful. The staff are special nice too and patient with our group. Even after we ordered they will come back and check on you. Thank you Baby stack. We will certainly come back.

It was a good breakfast to start off our trip in Vegas. Good food but pretty small place with Limited seating throughout restaurant but they do have an outside patio. Pancakes were nothing special to me though.

I had the Huntington omelette and a short stack. It was a lot of food. The short stack was light and fluffy. It's a solid place to go have a decent breakfast especially if you have a sweet tooth.

Order the guava strawberry pancakes they are a must ! Service has varied. This is my 4th time coming here and I should have written a review before. It's a little crowded in here and a bit dirty! It's a small location so it's to be expected. The bathrooms are disgusting! I only use them when I absolutely have to!

    Banana foster French toast

Always go super early or late to beat the rush. Our wait was about 30 mins and your whole party has to be there if not they won't seat you. I love there banana foster pancakes so decided to try there banana foster French toast. Let me say life changing. Such a balance of sweet and salty. Inside this location it's very small and compact and seats aren't comfortable at all. I also tried the island skillet. Was very dry wish had more gravy. For sure coming back for the banana foster French toast.

Family friendly breakfast place where the owner seems to know everybody's name - lots of locals! The food is reasonably priced with huge portions and delicious. The service was Prompt super friendly and thoughtful with a cozy family vibe. if we lived nearby, we would come here as regulars. The menu is unique with lots of interesting breakfast options. The crêpes tasted like homemade whipped cream - so yummy. Our whole family approved! We will be back the next time we're in Vegas. It is worth it to go off strip for this amazing breakfast/ brunch.

Service was friendly and fast for having the restaurant full. Ambiance was great. People did not stop coming and it was a Sunday morning. All of this food was remarkable. Every savory and sweet bite was heaven. Worst thing I can say is that the Chairs are garbage. Not for those with hips, hard metal cold and uncomfortable to sit up straight in. So many more food items I want to try here. I'll be back!!

Overall, the food is good here. They have a good variety of sweet and savory breakfast and brunch items. I love all their pancake options! However, know that you'll almost always have a wait. We came on a Monday late morning and it was busy. We ended up waiting longer than we were originally told. The service was also not great. It seemed like no one wanted to be working there and it showed. So good food but not sure if I'd rush back due to the wait and service.

    Do they do reservations?

No. They did during the pandemic when it was required to do so, but now they do not. It is first come first serve basis.

    Do they serve mimosas?

Nope. No liquor permit. But there is a Sierra Gold about 20 yards away.

The ambiance at night is nice and dimly lit. Great menu and nicely priced. There's currently a 3 course special that comes with a salad, salmon, tiramisu, and bottomless wine for $60! It's definitely worth it. The goat cheese spread tasted great with the salad. The salad also comes as a big portion. The salmon was huge and perfectly moist. I got the foie gras on French toast. It had the perfect amount of salty and tart sweet flavor with the blackberry-cherry sauce. It comes as an appetizer, but because it's so good, I don't recommend sharing since the portion is so small. I got the spicy seafood pasta, and it was amazing! It had the perfect amount of spice and it comes with a hefty amount of seafood along with a whole big lobster tail! The shrimps that it came with were also huge and there were plenty of calamari and octopus with the pasta. This dish was such a great deal with the portion and the amount of seafood it came with. My only complaint is that they can lighten the amount of fresh basil they put in. I highly recommend! Last, we got the creme brulee, which comes with orange biscotti. It's a shareable portion, and perfectly sweet. Our server Zoe was also amazing! She was super friendly and answered all the questions we had with the menu. Waitress was super attentive and helpful the whole time. It was insanely hot that day, mid-July in Vegas doesn't mess around, so having a nice, large air-conditioned space to duck into was exactly what the day called for. This is a proper local craft brewery and taproom restaurant, with family roots going back four generations in the city, and they lean into that local identity with a solid house beer lineup alongside the usual bar standards. Wasn't too busy, which was great, meant we actually had good seats for the game. Ok options for slot machines too, this being Vegas and all. I had the fish and chips and it was good, though every place really skimps out on the sauces lately, unless that's just me being picky about my dipping ratios. Nice selection of local drinks overall. They had me try one of their more out-there brews, some kind of skunk-named one, and it genuinely smelled like Cheech and Chong's basement. Points for the experience, even if I stuck to my regular pour after that.

My wife and I both tried the Spencer cut steak. It was grilled to perfection. Great char and came out the way I ordered it. Juicy and not fatty, an excellent cut. I really enjoyed the sorbet as well. The first floor of the restaurant was very cool! You could see the cuts of meat in the refrigerators and there is also a bar on the left of the entrance. There was a beautiful chandelier by the staircase as well. The upstairs dining area was very plain however. Bare walls, industrial type of standard light fixtures. The server recommended the skirt steak which we ordered MR. Also ordered the ribeye, portobello mushrooms fries and the steak tartare to start. I've never seen a steak tartare come out brown as it shows in the photo. I was so hungry, so I tried some, assuming the kitchen wouldn't send out bad raw meat. It tasted ok but the more I kept eating the weirder I felt about the color. We asked the manager if this was a common occurrence as my experience with steak tartare had never been this way. She said that it shouldn't come out brown and said she'd take it off the menu. She then later came back to explain that the lime juice that's in the marinade oxidizes the raw beef so that's why it's brown... which is an acceptable answer I suppose? It just felt weird bc I couldn't find any photos of browned steak tartare on google when looking up the restaurant menu. The steaks we ordered MR came out. The ribeye was cooked decently but the skirt steak was more on the rare side so we had to send it back for an oven heat up for 1 more minute. I enjoyed the skirt steak but it was too sweet to enjoy the whole thing. Cooking it in the oven for another minute made it even sweeter. It tasted like over sweetened Korean galbi in steak form. I'd say the portobello fries was my favorite dish and decided to take the rest to go to pick at in the hotel. After dinner we were given the dessert menu which didn't really call out to me, but since we told the server it was our anniversary, they gave us complimentary sorbet which was very nice. I liked the sorbet quite a lot but I was pretty full so didn't get to enjoy much of it. The gesture was kind though. At the end, the steak tartare was not taken off our receipt so we had to ask for that to be taken off since the manager told us she'd do that. The server gladly obliged. I want to say, that there was a female employee - maybe a busser, who worked really hard to be attentive with our waters and clearing our plates. I wish I got her name! I believe she was Latina with a ponytail if that helps at all working Saturday evening of Labor Day weekend at 6PM. All in all, the experience was not as great as my husband's first time at the Henderson location - he said the cuts were so much bigger before and the ambience of the Henderson location was more fine dining-esque. But the economy is tough lately so I figured the quality could've easily gone down. Because the price points were very reasonable, I thought it was up to par with what we paid. Probably won't go back unfortunately but it was great to try it out. The plaza it is in is called Trivoli(?) and I thought it was a cute spot with a lot of shops. Although everything was closed by 8, we walked around to digest a little and enjoyed the evening.

That was a big bummer but I did not want to ask them to replace it. I was kind of in a rush. They offered twice at least to replace it and to take care of it, but no matter, I just didn't eat a lot of my rice. The vibe inside is very casual. They have some pretty awesome mural work. This is definitely a café where a lot of locals come, but also a lot of visitors. The large party that left the cafe just before I arrived looked like a big group of high school kids. It's nice to see young kids going out to eat and supporting their local restaurants and eateries. The waitresses were constantly wiping down tables and dining area space. That made me feel more confident about the cleanliness of this restaurant and the fact that they care about their patrons. Maybe next time I am in town I will stop in again and try something different. My corned beef and hash wasn't anything fancy or complicated. It was just down home food. They were seating guests on the 2nd room. We were greeted and walked to our table in front of the open kitchen. We had a very fast speaking staff member who went thru the menu. It's not a big menu so although we were not able to follow along, we looked at the menu and finally understood what he was recommending. Luckily he was not our waiter. Edith was our waitress and she was amazing. Our food was brought out at a timely manner. We changed out our plates at least 2x so we can enjoy the next dish on a clean plate. Our water glass was always full. We had a small table for 2 but always made sure we had enough room for the dishes we ordered so we can enjoy. Mind you, we did a wine flight for each of us so there was always 6 glasses of wine on the table. The food was phenomenal. Portion, flavor, each dish was just perfection. Whipped Brie. Omfg, I could eaten just this all night with my wine. Garlic shrimp on toast. Why did I only order one plate. It was so gorgeous. I had to take small bite so that the dish would last longer. Gouda fries with a dip on the side. Heaven sent. Wagyu, medium rare. Cannot be cooked more perfectly. Went amazing with the cab wine. Kat was nice and went around making sure everyone had a nice dinner. I had to share how perfect our dinner was at Ada's. Will be back.
