Came by Bacari again, but had a worse off experience the second time around. As a group of 3, we ended up getting sat at the table right by the restroom, which wasn't the most pleasant to start. Staff was not attentive at all, and food this time around was just ok. We ordered: -2 espresso martini $16 (with titos $2 surcharge each) -ravine hazy IPA $9 (double charged), had to ask to remove -free range egg pizza $14 -bacari burger $13 + $1 for cheese -bacari fries $11 + $3 for bacon -smoked salmon pita $13 -beef cheek $16 -bacari pancakes $12 -titos shots $13 each Food came out luke warm. The pizza was probably the best one out of the group, everything else was subpar and mediocre. Fries were a bit stale. Pancakes were almost tough-like. Food in general just came out slow that day for us. Our server kept messing up orders and double charged drinks we never received. There is an auto 4% surcharge as well. The ambiance of the place is nice, but with the worst seat in the house, subpar food, and unattentive service, this was not a good experience at all. Well I finally got to go to Bacari I have heard so many great things about this restaurant and I must agree the food was amazing. Most of my friends said they the lettuce cups so I took my daughter my niece and my daughters in laws we were super excited to try the lettuce cups we all wanted them and they said we are out of them omg I was so disappointed but we still had great food and cocktails were amazing we just had our heart set on the cups. We arrived there about 2 in the afternoon still early but they did not have them. I will have to go back again hopefully they have them. We got here about 6:15 and it's currently 9 o'clock and honestly we could stay all night. Our server was Justin and he was so thoughtful, prompt, and so sweet! During our dinner one with short hair actually asked us to move tables so she could sit a table of 4. We said ok, comp our round and they did not. When we asked her she said, too bad. Then when we were leaving she told us they would over valet. Same thing. I do business meetings at the BH location all the time but due to her childish and bazarre behavior and the other hostess chiming in. I will never return. Took my brother and cousin to Bacari for brunch this weekend and we were blessed to catch a beautiful 72-degree day amidst some blustery weeks of windy & chilly weather. I hadn't been to Bacari for brunch before but I had great memories of the food and ambiance my last visit. Their menu didn't have a ton of breakfast-y options, there was a shakshuka, crab cake benedict and a French toast that should not be missed. You could add an egg to other dishes like the burger or their sauced-up fries so that makes up for it as long as you aren't too traditional during brunch. They offer a 90 minute drink special, all you can drink for the price of about 2 cocktails, which is a thoughtful offering given the high prices of the area! It's available whenever they are open too, so I will definitely keep them in mind for happy hour. The food and drinks are great but what makes it so special is the vibe, it's very energetic but relaxed at the same time. Friendly, unpretentious service. I'm a huge Bacari fan and have been to the silver lake and Sherman oaks location, this one also doesn't disappoint! The service honestly is always great, the servers are so kind and they seat you promptly. The indoors is similar to the Sherman oaks location but it's like a hybrid indoor outdoor setting. It's smaller than the other 2 locations I've been but I love the tunnel entrance and how it's located by other cool food spots. For dinner I usually get the Asian Pear & Brie pizza (my fav), the Mushroom pizza, Bacari fries, Brussel sprouts, and Scallops. The food was great, just like the other locations, and I even like how the pizza crust was crunchier than the Silverlake location! Had a great meal at Bacari W. 3rd and wanted to share a few thoughts. First off--the food was genuinely fantastic. Every dish felt intentional and flavorful. The Bacon-Wrapped Medjool Dates were rich and indulgent without being overwhelming, the Brussels Sprouts had the perfect crisp and seasoning, and the Lamb Hummus was beautifully balanced. Even the sides like the Charred Broccoli and House Cured Olives added a lot to the overall experience. Nothing felt like filler--each plate was worth its spot on the table. Desserts were also strong--the Malabi was fragrant and refreshing, and Hillel's Donuts were a nostalgic, satisfying finish. You can tell the kitchen puts care into what they serve. Service-wise, Oko was a highlight. She was sweet, attentive, and never hovered or interrupted us mid-bite. That kind of intuitive service goes a long way and made the meal even more enjoyable. That said, the hostess/seating situation was disappointing. We had a reservation, but the hostess chose to seat another group ahead of us just because they approached her first, even though we had arrived on time for our booking. It's not a great look and kind of undermines the whole point of making a reservation. It felt dismissive and left us feeling like an afterthought. Overall: the food and service at the table were excellent, but the front-of-house experience needs more consistency and professionalism. My friends and I came here for a birthday dinner and we had to wait a little while for our table, but honestly? It set the tone for the whole night--in the best way. The host immediately offered us Prosecco while we waited, which was such a thoughtful touch and kept us informed on our table status the entire time we waited. Once seated, things only got better. The staff here is incredible--from the warm welcome at the door, to the attentive support staff who never let our water glasses dip too low, to our server, Michael, who truly made the evening unforgettable. He was personable, knowledgeable, and made our experience feel unique and special. And the food... absolutely delicious. Every dish hit the mark, beautifully prepared and full of flavor. We got the margherita pizza, the lamb shakshouka pizza (highly recommend, it is a new seasonal dish!), jidori chicken wings (sauce was incredible), burrata caprese, mac and cheese, glazed pork belly (mouth-watering, so crispy but still packed with flavor), and the fries were so good that we got 4 orders of them... everything was so good I didn't get the chance to take a picture of any food before it was already all gone!!
