Super cute restaurant with a nice patio for outdoor dining. They had shade during the day and heaters and blankets for nighttime dining. Service was superb and the menu had plenty of options including vegetarian. The Bolognase was delicious and was big enough for 2 servings and we loved the whipped ricotta!

Nice dark and romantic atmosphere. The crowd is hyped and vibey. Our server and the rest of the staff was super nice and friendly. We ordered a few different dishes and they did not disappoint. The squash blossoms were fresh and filled with nice goat cheese. The steak tartare was delicious and fresh. The pizza was thin crust and has a good smoky taste. All the other sides and including the dessert was delicious. I definitely recommend this place. Valet can be full sometimes but drakes valet across the street can take the car.

Great classy vibe, semi-sophisticated spot Starting out strong with the two appetisers, they are both more of a small plate to share. Grilled Octopus (8.6/10): This octopus is well-seasoned with salt. The meat is so tender, has a nice char taste to it. Not flimsy, you can actually chew on it. The peppers pair nicely with it, even tho it's kinda hard to pick up the slices with the fork & knife. Maybe if it's in square or triangle shape would be better in my opinion. Hamachi Crudo (8.3/10): This dish is quite delightful and delicious to start off the meal with. It has a lot of sauce, the passion fruit/mango sauce compliments the hamachi and the avocado a lot. Everything is well-balanced, even with a Serrano it would be even more playful with that extra crunch and kick. It's a very joyful dish to have. Not too messy to eat, it's easy to pick up. Looking forward to try their beef tartare if I ever come back. Black truffle, zucchini blossom, goat cheese (7.8-8): I love the dough and the crust, that's like the soul of a pizza. It's made in wood oven, so it has that charcoal taste and it's burnt in the right way yet not too bitter or hard. The truffle pizza tasted like it has goat cheese inside, I asked for crushed red pepper and it tasted better with it. It's a rather plain pizza, I prefer pizza with meat better but the crust is good. Looking forward to try an equivalent of Diavola in here. Branzino, spinach, tomatoes, peppers, olives (9/10): Portion is on the smaller side, you can definitely finish it on your own as a main course without sharing. Love the detail on the cheese cloth wrapping the lemon. Love the spinach beneath the fish, it soaked up the lemon juice if you use the lemon as garnish (optional). The spinach is not slippery (like most spinach dish?), fish is tender, not hard to eat. Great! Tagliatelle, beef and pork bolognese (8/10): Great, not fantastic or exquisite. It's yummy but no wow factor, love the pasta texture, it's a little bit over al-dante which blends in with the mince meat more. Every bite the pasta and the beef compliments each other because of the softer pasta texture. Tiramisu (8.5/10): Yummy! SERVICE This is an upscale restaurant, our server Sophia understands the menu well. Even though we made reservations we didn't got seated immediately. The service is not bad, good not amazing great. Portions are on the smaller side except for the pizza, alcohol is not watered down mediocre restaurant drink (their cocktails are pretty decent). Cocktails are quite decent too, presentation is decent. Would come back even just for the bar, love the ambience

Reserved a lunch table for three on the patio. Valet was easy, hostess was welcoming & professional. Table was ready as promised. Patio has a relaxing, European vibe with marble tables & Paris cafe chairs. Service was friendly and upscale. They proactively refill drinks and bring clean silverware when they clear plates. Had the burrata appetizer (be sure to also order the bread basket). It was excellent! Had the bolognese tagliatelle and a prosciutto pizza. The ingredients were very fresh and the food was well prepared. The prices are not cheap, but it was worth it. The restaurant and bathrooms were spotlessly clean.

Wonderful place for brunch. It's a really good idea to have a reservation in advance because it's popular. I reserved via OpenTable. Trendy and can be a bit of scene with a chic vibe but very chill. Ladies (and some men) who lunch and brunch with friends crowd. I had a birthday lunch here once and it's a great place to celebrate a special event with friends. You can relax and talk out loud as the restaurant has a fun and animated social atmosphere, which is nice with a group. Good service. They make excellent pizza. The dish I really love on the brunch menu is the "Green Eggs" with avocado, spinach and pesto...which always makes me smile because it reminds me of Dr. Seuss and his character Sam in "Green Eggs With Ham". My favorite dessert was their fabulous Pavlova, but it's no longer offered. The Meyer Lemon Meringata is a great substitute.

Went for a friends birthday dinner and it was actually super cute! The temperature inside was PERFECT, it's January and freezing outside but we had dresses on and were able to take out jackets off and be comfortable, which is SO appreciated first off. It's a bit pricey here, but we ordered a variety of courses and everything was INCREDIBLE! This place is so chic, classy, old money, if you get the vibe. Super instagram worthy and a great place to get cute dinner pics, and show off your outfits. The service was top notch by all the gentlemen we interacted with. The manager maybe or just a stranger in a suit came by and checked in, which was kind also. Literally every single thing ordered was beyond delicious, ricotta toast, squash blossom, all the truffle options, truffle pasta, truffle pizza, the steak, bread service, it was spot on. I'll be back. Thank you Cecconi's! Please don't skip this spot if you're a foodie .

Warm and welcoming greetings the minute we arrived.

There is such a wide and deep range of places to try in the greater Los Angeles area that it is possible to get endless 5-star experiences from diners to ballrooms. I like all types of places as long as they are clean and the food is good. But, isn't it nice to add an upscale elegant environment? One where you feel appropriate dressing up just a bit, even in laid back SoCal? Cecconi's ticks all the boxes for me. The place is beautiful, inside and out, secluded (see my photos), appointed with an eye to refinements (again, the photos), with a balanced menu that gives both carnivores and herbivores plenty to choose from. With easy parking and reasonable prices. Oh, and available on Sunday afternoons, my favorite time to eat out. Even on what could be described as a dreary, rainy day, the place was packed. The service was top-notch too. Nicco and Paolo waited on us cheefully, discreetly and expertly. The dishes looked decorative and imaginative and the portions were ample, so we were able to take a lot home for another meal -- I love that. See what we had in my pictures. Everything we ordered was delicious, perfectly prepared, and served at the ideal temperature. Most of all, I truly enjoyed seeing the WeHo/BH crowd in glittering attire, amid the t-shirts and jeans that seem to plague our times. C'mon people, don't you want an excuse to wear your diamonds and pearls once in awhile? You can do it and blend in at Cecconi's, truly a local treasure. It was a festive meal that I am sure we will want to repeat soon.

First time dining at Cecconi's West Hollywood and it definitely lived up to the hype. The atmosphere was one of my favorite parts of the experience bright, beautiful, and full of great energy. It's the perfect spot for a Sunday brunch on a sunny afternoon. To drink, I ordered the Cecconi's Sour, which was incredibly well-crafted with a smooth, velvety texture and balanced flavor. For food, we shared a few dishes family-style. The spicy salami pizza was easily my favorite, packed with flavor and cooked perfectly. The branzino was absolutely delicious light, flaky, buttery, and full of flavor. The tuna was excellent, and the calamari was perfectly crispy without feeling heavy. Overall, Cecconi's delivered great food, great drinks, and a fantastic atmosphere and quick service. Whether you're meeting friends for brunch or enjoying a leisurely afternoon meal, this is definitely a spot worth visiting. I'll be back.

An LA institution for years it also has been so many years since I've last gone to Cecconi's and it's nice to see it's still a great place to pick up a solid Italian meal (especially after a concert at the Troubadour on a weeknight if it gets out on time!). We ordered the squash blossoms, the tuna tartare and a spicy meat pizza all of which were great. The panna cotta - a revelation. So creamy and smooth with the right amount of texture. Perfectly paired with strawberry. Great service overall. Attentive and helpful in ordering making sure food came out quickly and fresh but also checked in on us regularly! Valet as there's no lot. Street parking can be tough, watch for signs!

I finally tried their brunch. It was a bit crowded but I was able to make a reservation the same morning. I was pleased to see steak and eggs on the menu. Most brunch places that make it fail, but not Cecconi's! They really know how to elevate the dish. The meat was cooked perfectly and was well seasoned. The burrata was also great, can't go wrong with it.

This is such a fun place. I've been here multiple times and always have a great time. The outdoor patio is absolutely lovely. With the high hedges, you can't even tell your right in the middle of the hustle-and-bustle of West Hollywood. My girlfriend and I had drinks and an amazing dinner. She had the brick chicken and I had the scallops. We split the crudités. Everything was delicious. The servers were attentive without being overbearing. They have valet, and there is limited street parking. There's also a parking structure about a block away. Better to park there and avoid the frustration.

Ask the Community - Cecconi's West Hollywood

What are the hours for brunch on Sunday?

Do they have a full brunch buffet on Sunday's like the Four Season used to have?

Cecconi's offers a brunch menu on weekends; however, it is à la carte rather than a buffet. Patrons can choose from a variety of Italian-inspired brunch dishes, but a full buffet is not provided.

Is there a Happy Hour menu? TIme?

Yes best happy hour in town!

Do they still offer the full English breakfast?

    Yes they do

Are they making you show vax card still?

No not anymore I was just there on Sunday

Dress code? T-shirt and shorts ok?

This really isn't a 'casual place' like that. I would call to confirm you could wear shorts (I would think on the patio is ok...) and maybe a shirt with a collar. This is more upscale.

    We need reservations?

They can be pretty packed, especially on weekends - so reservations are 100% recommended. The bar has limited seating

Do you still offer the English breakfast?

When will they reopen and why are they closed? They have been closed since Dec 5th 2021. As of Jan 4th 2022 they are closed (i live in the neighborhood and verified this today it also says on their website they are closed)

They are open again, I was there a few weeks ago Just need vaccine proof

Anyone knows the safety measures they are taking for outdoor dining during the pandemic?

    Is this restaurant dog friendly?

    Yes on the patio

Are the items under the "Plant Based" section vegan even though they don't have the "pb" next to them? I'm assuming so but just want to double check. Thank you so much!

    Yes they are

    Do they have Vegan options?

Hi Annette! Thanks for getting in touch. Yes, at Cecconi's we have several plant-based dishes and they are indicated on our menus with the notation "pb." All menus are on our website if you'd like to take a look. Hope to see you soon!

    The phone number doesn't work?

Hi, Sorry about this! Our IT team is working to sort this problem as soon as possible. In the…

I got a dinner reservation here for a group of 10 on Saturday night. I've never been here on my travels to LA and wondered if someone can tell me how nice/hip this place is? Hoping for not only good food but good vibe/atmosphere?

Super hip and trendy. The place is packed on the weekends.

She didn't like that spot and thought the tables farther inside looked much more comfortable and cozy. Since people were sitting at one of those tables, she wanted to wait until they left. Personally, I thought the table by the entrance was perfectly fine, but I was also STARVING! Another friend arrived and also disliked the table, so we decided to wait. After a while, I was getting way too hungry, so we sat at the bar and ordered an appetizer and drinks while waiting. I first ordered the Garlic Shrimp and asked if it was spicy. I was told it was, so I asked if they could make it without the spice because I can't eat spicy food. He said he would check with the kitchen, but since I was starving and it sounded like it might take too long, I changed my order to Garlic Bread. One of my girlfriends ordered a glass of wine, and since she had made the reservation and gone through the trouble of arranging everything, I treated her to the wine and garlic bread. Then, of course, our friend who is ALWAYS late arrived about 30 minutes late! By then, the rest of us had already decided what to order from the Dine LA menu. We wanted to try as many dishes as possible, so we ordered different items and shared everything. When our late friend arrived, we ordered his dishes separately. For the first course, we had Caesar Salad, Bruschetta, and Meatballs. For the second course, we ordered Rigatoni Vodka, Cacio e Pepe, and Margherita Pizza. For dessert, everyone ordered Tiramisu. Overall, I thought the food was good. My favorites were the Bruschetta, Meatballs, Rigatoni Vodka, and Tiramisu. The Cacio e Pepe was not my favorite because I thought they used way too much black pepper, and my other friends agreed. Our group had mixed reactions overall. Except for one person, the other two felt the food didn't quite live up to their expectations and were somewhat disappointed. But everyone's taste is different, so I completely understand. Considering how expensive everything has become these days, I thought the Dine LA price was pretty reasonable. It was $45 per person, and with tax and tip, it came to $60 each. For that price, I thought the amount of food and the overall experience were pretty good. I also really appreciated how friendly and attentive all the staff members were. I usually don't drink alcohol, and especially when I'm driving, I NEVER drink--not even a sip. That has been my personal rule for decades. So I just ordered water, and I loved how the staff kept coming by and refilling my glass whenever it got low. I drink a LOT of water, so I really appreciated their attentiveness. Now, about parking: valet parking is $17. I decided to street-park instead. One of my friends also street-parked, but unfortunately she got a parking ticket and was VERY upset. I had originally found a spot where a sign said a parking permit was required, so I decided not to take the risk and moved my car. Before leaving, I asked a man walking his dog if it was okay to park there. He said he had seen many cars parked there and they had been fine, but I still didn't trust it because the sign clearly said permits were required. I told him, "I don't think that's allowed." He was very nice and suggested going about three blocks farther, where there was plenty of street parking without a permit. I followed his advice and parked there. Unfortunately, my friend who stayed in the permit-only spot ended up getting a ticket. Another friend parked in the parking structure across the street and said it cost $18. Since I had parked farther away and didn't want to walk alone at night, I asked him to drop me off at my car after dinner, and he kindly did. So my parking recommendation is to use the $17 valet or street-park about three blocks away where no permit is required. I definitely would NOT recommend parking in the permit-only spaces unless you want to risk getting a ticket. One of the funniest things about this neighborhood is the restaurant names. The restaurant we went to is called "Met Him At A Bar," and literally right across the street is "Met Her At A Bar." There's also another restaurant called "The Night We Met." I have to say, the names are pretty creative and definitely make this neighborhood more fun! Overall, we had a fun evening together, and for $60 per person including tax and tip, I thought it was a pretty decent Dine LA experience.

I never feel like a customer at Osteria La Buca -- I always feel like a guest, and that means a lot. I've been going there for quite some time, and I've tried a large portion of the menu, probably a good 90% of it. Everything has been exceptional. Their Carbonara for example, is made properly, without cream, peas, or the other abominations that many restaurants add. "Other restaurants = Take lessons. The ricotta with agave is a lovely Italian Mexican wedding, the pizzas are tasty and so many other dishes are consistently fantastic. They also have a super solid wine selection, and the ambiance is wonderful both on the main floor and in the private dining room. The staff is always super friendly, and you can tell they are well trained and genuinely enjoy working there. That positive energy trickles down to the guests, and it shows by how packed the restaurant always is. Go there on a Monday at 8pm and you'll see what I'm taking about. (Make a rezzy before going is what I am trying to say, otherwise, you might end up waiting for a bit, but it's worth it anyway) I'm getting hungry just writing this review, so I better go "destroy" that Carbonara with a nice glass of Soave Classico (or really, any good Garganega) and enjoy a great chat with the bartenders at Osteria La Buca. Grazie, Osteria La Buca. Cheers!

The place was super clean and the vibes were great! I'm not sure if they have their own parking but there is metered strewn parking along Ventura !

Our server was attentive, friendly, and made sure we were well taken care of throughout the meal. The standout for me was definitely the Orecchiette Arrabbiata. I typically gravitate toward pasta dishes with a protein, but I had to try Alba's signature pasta, and it absolutely lived up to the hype. We also ordered the Pappardelle Bolognese, which was rich, comforting, and equally delicious. The Diavola chicken was another pleasant surprise, tender, flavorful, and one of my favorite dishes of the night. The focaccia is a must-order for the table, and the tartare was fresh and well-executed. The cocktails were good, but they didn't stand out quite as much as the food. My only critique is that I wish there were a few more menu options, especially considering the price point. While everything we ordered was enjoyable, the overall experience felt a bit pricey for the portion sizes and limited selection. That said, the beautiful atmosphere, attentive service, and standout dishes make Alba a place I'd gladly return to. With a few more menu offerings and a stronger cocktail program, this would easily be a five-star experience.
