Favorite Hibachi truck there is in the I.E. I've tried plenty other trucks and this has to be the best one by far. Price is fair for the portions. Yumi yaki and diablo sauce are the best combination to mix with Noodles, rice and chicken. The guys in the truck have good recommendations and know how to whip it up in the kitchen. Not only will the food keep you coming back but also the friendly customer service. There is a bit of a wait time as they make sure to cook your food throughly. I ordered online a day ahead, Thursday evening, for pick up Friday at 6pm. When I arrived at the location, the food truck was barely pulling in and it was already 6:05. I approach the truck and they tell me they had been having difficulties with the truck, to give them 10 minutes and they would have my order. Long story short my order was ready until 6:40pm, 40 minutes after my scheduled pick up. I was a bit frustrated that no one bothered to reach out during the day letting us know of the problem with the truck... it would've been nice to have gotten a notice or something to plan dinner accordingly. By the time I arrived home with the food, my family was frustrated hangry and upset :( The food was tasty though, I will admit. Good flavors, chicken was tender, veggies very well seasoned. The portions are decently sized. My only complaint was we were given a huge serving of rice not proportioned to the meat and veggies, and it was a bit soggy towards the bottom of the bowl. Other than that, the workers were very nice, and helpful. I was given some soda cans for free due to the wait. All in all, ok experience. Would've been nicer had i not waited as long. I thought it would be small portion given the reasonable price point of the bowls the guy who took my order was helpful on how I should order given my preference. So I finally stopped and ordered. Found my new go to for fast food teppanyaki style. Don't need a show just good food. So be ready to pay --prices are about $20-$30 for the plates depending on if you're adding shrimp or lobster. I just did steak cooked medium. I upgraded my rice to chicken fried rice and it landed at the perfect combo with the veggies they add. Considering the price of meat and gas, the prices are very reasonable. Upgrade the rice though, to the chicken fried rice, as I read other reviews felt to much rice was given, but when you add chicken it's worth it. Taste was perfect but what really adds are the sauces. We have tried this place 3 times now. The first time, the service was great including the young man who charged us for our order. He was very polite, friendly, and pleasant. The order took a while but tasted fantastic. We were the last guests that night so I think they made my fried rice just as I ordered it, with extra garlic butter. It was the best teppanyaki my family had had. Better than Benihana's, better than Habachihana Grill. Then the last two times I have ordered have been total & complete disappointments. I ordered online the Sunday before Valentine's Day. Thought I would enjoy a nice pre V-day dinner with my Wife & Daughter. Ordered shrimp & lobster combo for the wife and I got filet & chicken combo for me and a chicken plate for my Daughter. My Wife's lobster was burnt . My filet was supposed to be medium and it was way overcooked. I asked for all the fried rices to have extra garlic butter and all were bland as was the steak. Waste of $130 for 3 entrees mind you. The last time tonight took the cake and I will not be ordering from this place again. I ordered online again and again noted in the comments to please add extra garlic to the fried rice. I know I can purchase whipped garlic for .50 cents for a 2oz cup by I prefer it to be mixed while cooking my rice so the flavor blends in better. It did bot give me an option to add sauces for my Daughter's chicken bowl so I figured I would ask when I got there. Picked up my food and I asked the guy that gave me my order if could get 2 yum yum sauces for my Daughter's bowl since it would not let add online and he responds, "that's the price you pay for ordering online. You get what you get. You can buy sauces for .50 cents each if you want. Never mind that I just spent $49 on 2 entrees and tipped you.
