Instead of honoring my original request and apologizing for the mistake, he mumbled, "I didn't hear that" and had my boyfriend pay the difference of 2 dollars for the onion rings. We had two very different experiences, so this 4…read morestar reflects an average of both. 2 weeks ago, we got the exact same thing: 1/2 lb tri tip, 1/2 lb brisket & 1 large mac n cheese. The Mac n cheese was DIVINE. Fam ranked it as one of the best mac they've ever had. SOOOO gooey. Soooo cheesy. They were also sooo generous with the meat. It was definitely more than 1 lb total. The meat was moist, and they let you choose if you want the fatty parts or the lean parts. Last night we got the same thing, but the meal fell short. The Mac n cheese was different. The color was different, the taste, the texture... it was just a different recipe. It wasn't bad, but it just wasn't as good. We still finished all of it though, haha. The meat this time just wasn't as fresh. Not as moist, and just overall not as good. The customer service is excellent, and the three people working there were out in the cold, workin hard! We will definitely be back to support them. For $31, this fed 4 people. A pretty good deal in my opinion!
