Great food, no frills kind of place! The BLAT was delicious and the portions are pretty big. It's kid friendly and even though it was a busy Friday night, we didn't have to wait long. Server was on point with food and service. One small thing is that they do charge extra for sides of sauce which isn't too common in most sit down restaurants but other than that, everything else was great. Also tried the strawberry jalapeño margarita and it was too sweet for my liking but I could see other drinkers enjoying it. read more

We went to Backporch for the first time to watch March Madness. They have plenty of TV's. The kids really enjoyed there food. They gave Wikkistixx for the kids to play before the meal. They changed a couple of the tvs to the game we wanted to watch. I had the jalapeño cream cheese burger. It was good food and a nice place to watch a game. Service was great. read more

Mom and I stopped in for lunch on our way home from Houston. When traveling we usually try to find somewhere to eat one bigger meal to hold us and then snack of an evening. This place is perfect for that. If you get a salad, I hope you're hungry or sharing it! The club sandwich is great too. This will be a frequent stop for us when traveling. This was the worst service I have had in the last 20 years. The food wasn't good because it was so salty it had no flavor.

We stopped here during our road trip and we were so pleasantly surprised with how great this place was, especially our server. He was so kind and attentive, and really was looking out for all the tables in his area. He was kind to our kids as well. Everything we ordered was great and the restaurant is really cute and clean. If I'm ever passing through again I will definitely be stopping here again! read more

Awesome Food. My 8 year old needed to make sure they got a 5 star review, as they had best queso and salsa he's ever had. And his junior burger was 10 out of 10 according to him he said there wasn't enough for him to let us try it. Our wings and chicken wrap were also the best. read more

Food was very good! I'll give them that. However, calling themselves a drafthouse is a stretch. Whoever is in charge of their beer selection doesn't know beer. Need a better variety and less "basic beers" you can get at any restaurant. We struggled to find good ones to drink and ended up finding better selection at a cigar lounge. Service was decent. Environment was good. Come for the food but go somewhere else for a nice draft. read more

The food was pretty good. I had the French dip which was delicious. The people with me had burgers that they both really liked. I also loved the ranch. I was disappointed the fries were not fresh cut. Al's the server handed me a flaming hot tray with no warning. I could almost join the MIB. Not cool. read more

Food was meh, service was atrocious, and ambiance was ded asf for a sports bar. I don't remember our servers name, but she had attitude like she did not want to be there. She acted as if we were a burden. Managers walked around caring about their phones than their PAYING customers. Food was excellent. It was hot fresh and delivered quickly. Our server, Carly, was great. The manager, Chris, came by and talked with us. He was nice and helpful. Worth a visit but remember it's a sports bar and has sports bar quality food. My wife and I split an ultimate turkey sandwich which I picked up as a to go order. It was a good enough sandwich but was supposed to come with crispy bacon but had none which tells me the cooks don't know the menu, ran out of bacon or don't care but we should have been told, no bacon. They didn't provide any napkins so we had to use hotel wash clothes as we were eating in our hotel room. The staff was friendly. I would give 3.5 stars if I could but please train the cooks and ask the servers to spend 5 seconds to add a few napkins to the to go orders. read more

We were just at the Northlake location and did not have a good experience. We walked in and waits for someone to seat us as no one was at the hostess station. We were finally seated at a booth and given menus after waiting for fifteen minutes for someone to come by to at least take our drink order, we left. read more

The food was alright and our waitress was great. We all sat in the little side area and closed the doors and let our kids run around in there before we got our food so that was nice. The only real complaint was everyone that ordered a mixed drink said it tasted like a mocktail. I guess they forgot to add the liquor? We ordered the ruby red Paloma, the perfect margarita, and the blue fish bowl thing, and a few others. Not sure if they are just under pouring or what but that was a waste of money. read more

Took forever for server to come take the order, she looked at me several times while walking around refilling drinks at other tables. Finally took the order, bone in wings. When wings came out, they were not hot. Finished eating, I finally just stood up next to the table, server finally walked out of kitchen and asked if I was ready, like yea, over 10 min ago. No waiter came to our table. Went to this sports bar to watch sports and they would not change the tvs for specific championship games. Hostesses complained and would not acknowledge us when we needed to ask about getting service. First time going and not impressed at all. read more

I had a hamburger that came out wrong but the bartender Brit immediately saw and corrected it. Brit as a bartender is one of the best most accommodating people ever. I normally try different places on Sunday afternoons, but I think she just solidified me coming back here every Sunday. read more

I have been going here since they opened and Management is not the same, bring back the old managers. Service is not the same as when it opened. They are always under staffed and stressed out. The other day it took over 30 minutes to get my check. The food was not good. The biscuits were burnt on the bottom and hard all the way through. I could not even eat them. Thankfully it came with eggs and bacon and I was able to eat that. I would have sent it back but they were too busy. There was only one bartender and the amount of tickets she was behind was crazy with no help. The bartender was busting her butt to try and keep up but she just couldn't. I understand y'all are busy and understaffed but treat your guests with respect. Everyone was getting attitude from the employees. I reached out to the corporate Backporch and they said they would give me a call back and have never reached back out. It has been two weeks now. Not one manager had reached out to apologize for the crazy rude yelling and behavior. Maybe if they had the right management the restaurant wouldn't have gone so down hill and so many employees would quit. Maybe then they will be staffed correctly and the guests would get good service. read more

This place is excellent. I love the jalapeño strawberry marg - my favorite drink I've ever had at any restaurant ever. The Buffalo chicken wrap, chicken lettuce wraps, and soft pretzel with cheese dip are excellent. I really love their fries too- crispy shoestring and just the right amount of salt. This is our go to spot for last minute dinners and we've already been back multiple times and received the same perfect service each time! Great kids menu too. read more

Service was good but the food is meh. The old fashioned with buffalo trace was average at best and the GM talked us out of the pimento cheese brisket sandwich and recommended the secret menu grilled cheese with brisket. Well, it was a small portion of dry brisket on Texas toast with one slice of sharp cheddar that was barely visible much less tasty (charged us a $1 extra for the cheddar). Hardly a grilled cheese, which implies copious cheese. The cowboy burger was good and so was the beer. I recommend sticking to what is on the menu. read more

Was so excited about this drafthouse coming to Northlake. Was highly disappointed in our first visit! I ordered a salad and the lettuce was extremely old, which was visible to myself and the server. While the server apologized, she didnt offer to remove it from my ticket although I didn't eat it. So so disappointed, We will not be back. read more

Food was okay, beer overpriced. Not a fan of electronic bill pay where you don't get a bill until you give a credit card.
