I got 3 donuts & a mango sweet bread. I love how you have options of flavors to infuse your donuts. He hooked us up with strawberry, vanilla & dulce de leche. I love the overall vibe when walking it. We stopped by yesterday to give BAD Bakers a try, we were hungry for senorita bread and didn't want to drive all the way to Anaheim for our usual place, there is a really clever play on words for the store name because my kids were like why are we going to a baker that is suppose to be bad? Turns out it stands for Bread and Donuts Bakers. Located in a tiny parking lot next to a mini market, when we arrived the lot wasn't too full so we were able to pull right into the one of the two reserved spots for Bad Bakers. Inside the store looked clean and well organized, there were many donuts and pastries that were behind the glass, the one thing that truly caught my attention was how attentive the worker/owners were at the store, it's my fault not to catch their names. Checking in with us and seeing if it was our first time here, they offered us a sample of the Staxx bread (this was great because it helps lower the risk of ordering a box of 50 Staxx only to find out they're not good). Anyway, they were soft, buttery, and very close to the other senorita bread we were craving for. They also offered us a sample of the Ube Staxx which is something I haven't tried before, it was similar to the regular Staxx with a slightly sweeter twist. I liked this because I have a huge sweet tooth. We also picked up their chicken lumpia and cheeseburger lumpia. If you like cheeseburgers this is worth a try, airy and crispy it tastes like you're taking a bite into a cheeseburger with some crisps giving it a unique twist to the classic burger. The vinegary dip gave the chicken lumpia a fresh umami-sour taste, a good combination. Overall we were pleased with everything that we tried, this will most likely become our go to place for picking up Staxx for future gatherings and the price is competitive with the other store. read more

Found this place on the 2G2G app and it did not disappoint! When I arrived, the parking lot was a bit small but I wasn't difficult to find parking. I entered the cute store and was helped by a nice girl. I told her I was here for my order and she politely picked out my donuts. I asked if the famous staxx that they were known for were included. What a fun local find! The person behind the counter immediately greeted us upon entry and offered us various samples (all of them were delicious!). He asked us if it was our first time and we said yes so he gave us tons of great recommendations. The rolls were Filipino inspired so that was fun to see our culture being represented in our community. We loved the sweet bread and ube leche flan. Although these donuts are aesthetic the price was steep. 20$ for 1/2 dozen. I would normally justify the price but they lacked flavor for most of the ones i picked. We loved the penutbutter cup one and the texture of the donuts but the flavors fell short when i was expecting a fruit flavor for icing it was just powder sugar. The oreo one didn't taste like much..the berry topping and fruity pebble both had more icing in the center and that was lacking flavor again. My husband always gets maple bacon from any spot and he said this one didn't taste like much. The syringes were a fun concept but i didn't taste the flavor in the donut. I had heard of Bad Bakerz via Instagram and friends. Was in the area so stopped by on a Tuesday morning. When we walked in, we were greeted by the staff and offered a Staxx (Spanish bread) sample. It warm, sweet and tasty. We ordered a 20 PC Staxx (Ube staxx only available on weekends) and 3 Mochi donuts - Strawberry Banana Creme Pie, Ube, and, and Salted Churro. The mochi donuts had a soft, yet chewy texture that I loved. The still warm Staxx were also delicious and oh so tasty. There were other breads and Leche Flan available, too. Learned about this spot from Instagram. It's right down the street from our house and we've passed by several times, but it's easy to miss since it's tucked behind a Starbucks. I sent my husband with a list so that we could sample a variety of what they had - donuts, of course, lumpia, empanadas, STAXX butter rolls. The lumpia is more like an egg roll, they're fat and stuffed with filling - I think personally I prefer them when they are smaller. The empanadas were filled with ground beef and veggies - my kids really enjoyed them!! We didn't get too crazy with our donuts. Just got a sample of some basic ones. But we did get the mochi donut - the one we got, with the pink and chocolate glaze, was really sweet. We all really enjoyed the STAXX rolls. They are fresh, and soft, and had a slight sweet glaze on top. I'm going to warm up the next one I have - I bet it'll taste even better if it's warm! Oh, and the ham & cheese bread was very tasty! Again, I should have warmed it up because it would have been even better! Just know, this location is next to a drive-thru Starbucks, with a small parking lot, which can get busy.
