The walls were covered with colorful license plates, street signs, bottle caps, and Nirvana posters. Did a 14 year old from the movies design this place? It is truly ridiculous. The food was exactly what you would expect from a greasy burger joint. It was certainly food and you could certainly eat it. It was just so uninspiring and predictable. We came in after a movie for an early dinner and service was slow and the burger was greasy and I should have never gotten the Bad ass burger. I thought fried bacon sounded dreamy, but it was awful. Came here last night and was seated at a booth and took 15 minutes to be even greeted by anyone. A lady (I believe her name was Kailey) stopped to ask us if we had been helped at all and we said no, she apologized and we ordered drinks and ended up ordering our food too (because we weren't sure how long it would take). I should add while we waited the 15-plus minutes we saw various employees hanging out and chit-chatting in the back. I understand if a place is super busy and they're trying their best but they weren't even that busy. Also, side note the host that sat us, saw us waiting a long time and didn't do anything either, he was then in the back chatting too. We wanted to get up and leave but decided to give it a chance. I am not sure if she was supposed to be our original waitress or not (I'm thinking maybe she was tied up with something and had hoped for someone to at least take our drink orders ) or she could've not been our original waitress but saw that we hadn't been helped and were waiting a while so she jumped in to assist us, she was super nice and turned the night around. This place is very hit or miss. We've had some really excellent burgers here, and we've had some really terrible burgers here. But what happened on our most recent visit made me never want to come back. We each ordered a beer - one Blue Moon and one Myrcenary. The moment I caught a whiff of the Myrcenary just before drinking it I knew there was something horribly wrong. I drink this beer regularly, but this one smelled very strongly like concentrated sanitizer, the no-rinse type like BTF or Sani-Maid. My husband had unfortunately taken a swallow of his beer before saying "Is there something wrong with this beer?" and yes, his had the same strong chemical smell. He immediately turned pale and went into the bathroom and vomited it all up. I took the beers back to the bar myself and yelled at the two bartenders about using improperly diluted no-rinse sanitizer on their glasses and in their line flushes, and that they could seriously harm someone with such a stupid mistake. They both looked totally bewildered, as if they had no idea what sanitizer was. A manager came over to the table just as I was getting back, with my nearly poisoned ill husband sitting there looking like a zombie, and she offered us coupons. Coupons! I said no, we're leaving, train your bar staff, and we're not coming back anytime soon. Ridiculous. read more

Horrible experience tonight! All I'll say is the messaging system they use to text when tables are ready was a fail. I was told 20-25 min. After 25 minutes I checked the status at the hostess stand. The girl told me that she texted 3x and we never came to the front. We were at the bar literally right behind the hostess stand. We never received a text. When speaking with a manager, she said "it not our problem you didn't receive a text" she said we were taken off the list and it would be another 45 minutes to be seated. How sad. Disappointed tonight. Husband wanted to stop in and catch a quick bite. Well not so quick at all, we ordered our drinks then placed our order. After 35 mins of waiting for chicken tenders meal and a create your own salad, Nothing! Just as we were going to ask our sever where our food was , a manager came to our table, apologizing over and over again, said he knew that us waiting this long is unacceptable and our meals will be out shortly and he was going to comp them both. We still waited another 10 mins to get our food, no to mention my salad was not exactly how I ordered it. I asked for the chicken to be cubed cut and tossed in buffalo sauce. It wasn't. I was not about to send the salad back to be re-made, I was hungry. Anyway, the waitress appears and said "oh I heard my manager is going to take care of your meals, is everything ok? Well not exactly, my chicken wasn't tossed in buffalo sauce nor cubed. She apologized and by than another waitress brought 2 paper cups with the sauce. As I was eating, some of the chicken was warm and other pieces were ice cold, I thought how odd. I cut the chicken in bite size pieces only to find some pieces were grisly with hard grisel that I had to take it out of my mouth as it was awful. I thought ok I'll continue to eat only to find more pieces rubbery and grisly as well. I picked at my salad. Our waitress said they were kicking her out of the place and "Michael" will be taking care of us. She then stated she was starving and would be two tables away from us eating. To say the last Michael never came to our table, no refills on our drinks, he never checked to see how our meals were. That was probably a good thing. Needless to say, we ate what we could, my husbands fries looked like they were days old. Anyway we left a good tip as we never blame the waitress for the cooks mistakes. No one even around to let them know we were leaving, that felt awkward! We were just completely disappointed for the disregard to the service we received!! But the way, the manager that said he was going to comp our meal told his staff that we were really nice people so I guess nice doesn't pay off as they then take advantage of one's kindness. Wasn't sure what to expect but based off reviews we decided to give this place a try. I am sure glad we did! The atmosphere is supposed to be a retro bar but a little more upscale. There are lots of decorations on the walls and TVs for the sports fans. The service, food, and pricing is pretty decent. The burger offerings are a step up from what you would find at Red Robin or other burger chains, and they offer up some great flavors you don't see elsewhere. I ordered iced tea, and the Patty Melt with onion rings. My boyfriend ordered the pulled pork burger with tater tots. The only small criticism I have is the wait time for the food. When we were there it was not all that busy but the food took almost 40 mins. Kind of a long time, in my opinion, for burgers. But the quality and taste of the food made up for it. We used to go here all the time. After a several year hyatus, we went back, and boy were we disappointed. The prices have gone way up. It cost almost $60 for the two of us to get a burger, fries, and a beer. And we got burgers that were on the cheaper side. The worst part was that our $13 burgers (price not including fries) were served on dry, crumbly, stale bread. When we brought this to our server's attention, she said that the brioche that Bad Daddy's uses is just like that. No comped beer or free desert. We ended up just spending a lot of money on a very mediocre meal. Save yourself the headache and go to Freddy's for a superior burger at a much better price. read more

We came in the Wednesday before thanksgiving. This was my first time to bad daddy's but my family has been here many times. I was excited to try this new place. We arrived at 4:45 and planned to meeT some others there at 5, so we grabbed and table and settled in before the rest of our party arrived- we were 3 of 5. We were seated immediately at a large booth by the kitchen- normally i don't like these tables because there's so much traffic in and out of the kitchen and it can be distracting. It wasn't too bad until a little later in the evening. Our service was prompt and we ordered drinks and a couple of happy hour appetizers as we waited for the rest of our party. We got an order of fried pickles and the green chili cheese tots- I could have made a full meal out of the tots! They were AMAZING! And the fried pickles were so fresh and so light. I also loved that they were slivered spears and of pickle chips.. Sadly these were the only items I got a picture of, as the rest of the food was less than expected. I also ordered the sour cherry cider- i don't care for beer but ciders i enjoy. It was good- it is quite sour and probably would be better in the summer. Now on to the main course... 3 out of the 5 created their own burger, of these 1 was prepared correctly the rest were all missing an ingredient and/or overcooked. One person at our table needs to have their meats cooked well done no pink for medical reasons, their burger came out completely raw in the middle! Out of all 5 burgers we got 2 burger orders that were correct but everything else was seriously lacking. Two people ended up switching burger patties so that the one that needed it could have the fully cooked one. All in all most of us left this experience disappointed for a multitude of reasons. For the price of the burgers I expected more. While the flavor was there so many other things were not, and for over $100 for a table of 5 with 2 drinks and 5 burgers and a couple happy hour appetizers I definitely felt this missed the mark and we over paid. Our poor waitress also had our table dropped on her even though she was covering a different section of the restaurant making it difficult to spot her when we needed things- which is why the two just swapped patties because it wasn't worth the extra wait. Our original waitress had a family emergency and we all sincerely hope that everything on that end was ok. read more

I got BD's All American Burger because it seemed the most basic. It was cooked well! The only downside to eating it was that it was so big, the sauces were everywhere.
