Checked this place out this past Saturday. The vibe is very chill and comfortable. It was during an Atlanta United soccer game so the bar was packed. There was only one bartender but service was spot on even though there wasn't an empty seat at the bar. They have a decent selection of draft beers with a solid focus on local stuff. I had the standard bacon burger and it was average, nothing outstanding, however, the vibe, service, and beer selection are well worth the trip and if I'm in the area I'd definitely hit it again. read more

Come here if you want to pay more for very average tasting food and just good enough service. Bad ass burger was fine.. meat patty was moist but fried bacon? Is there really a need to be so extra? Salad was fine but the "large" size is probably only 1.5 times the size of a side salad elsewhere. But they charge you ~$10. Hostesses showed no effort to be nice and friendly. They were just there to do their job. Interior is new, fun, and hip, so I guess that is really what you are paying for when you come here. The bartender was very attentive which i really appreciate. She was honest about everything on the menu and gave us pointers as to what to get and what to not get. I came home starving and decided to order a salad from Bad Daddy's even though delivery time was 41 minutes. That's a long time when you did not have lunch and it's almost 6:00! Totally Hangry!! Food arrived to my door in less than 20 minutes! The texican salad was so good. Fresh veggies, corn, black beans and piping hot chicken. the corn strips just made it! Nice addition to the Chamblee restaurant scene. Typical Millennial industrial chic decor but there were comfortable banquettes that offset all the metal. The food was good. It was salty - not kidney failure salty but very noticeably salty. I enjoyed the draft I had and my friend enjoyed his margarita but it took forever for the drinks to come. The appetizer, the fried pickles, beat the drinks to the table. Sorry, but it is one of the basic rules of hospitality from time immemorial that you get the drinks on the table first. Period. So either the bar was short-staffed or inexperienced but when your appetizer gets there first - um, no. But, again, we enjoyed the drinks. The fried pickles were sliced length-wise and that was great. They were tasty and served with ranch dressing. Quantity and quality was good. Just salty. I had the Daddy's Philly which I enjoyed. Salty but good. Angus beef chopped with onions, mushrooms, jalapeños, red peppers and topped with Housemade American Cheese. The right amount of everything. Good flavor profile but salty. Here I must digress, however. I have an issue with the current fad of "housemade." No. Sorry. Homemade. Period. Housemade is just ignorant. This is one of the Millennial dining affectations that can go away any time now. Please, God. For my side, I built my own side salad. You can build your own salad - either dinner size or side salad and you do so by marking off what you want on a form that is in a nice stand on the table. It was really great. Lots of options. If that kind of side salad choice became a thing, I would be very happy. Anyway, salad A-OK. Large enough and was actually just the right size. My friend ordered the Smokehouse burger cause he wanted the pulled pork on his burger. Comes with pepper jack cheese, onion straws, and housemade apple-bacon BBQ sauce, He loved it - think via inhalation. He ate all of his tater tots covered in buffalo sauce first. He left full and happy. Worth another visit. Nice bar. Nice sized beer selection. They have dinner salads and other hot sandwiches beside beef burgers. Lots of parking around the back. The beer was good, albeit a bit more limited than I expected. But the real disappoinment was the food. We ordered the Ba-"Con" Queso as a sharable and were quite surprised when it came with two large slices of bacon on top. I crumbled it up myself and put it in the Queso (slight deduction), but what was really disappointing was the Queso itself - it was extremely water and bland. We asked about sending it back, but were told that "that's just the way it turned out today". The server went on to say that the kitchen did not know why it was so bad today, which led me to wonder: Why serve food you know will disappoint? (Huge deduction) We decided to go somewhere else to eat. On another note, the theme was quite muddled, with a somewhat random selection of movie posters, road signs, and other junk on the walls. You get restaurant vibes because of the booths and seating but the fully stocked bar immediately let's you know you in for more than just food. It was very crowded but we were seated in a good amount of time. Because it was our first time we all ordered different appetizers, different drinks, and a different burger. The service is always good but the food has never been anything to talk about..... HOWEVER the level of food has been upped. I am vegetarian and the only option they use to have was the black bean burger (which I do not even qualify as a burger) BUT now they have a beyond burger and my prayers have been answered!!! They service is always AMAZING!!! The bartenders are GREAT and so friendly. The manager is AWESOME. The fries are great crispy and salty. The burgers are always cooked great and topped with fresh ingredients. There are always "locals" there since it is in walking distance of a lot of apartments and homes. They always have sports playing where anyone in the restaurant can see. The outside patio is great option when the weather is nice or if you pets. If I could rate differently for service vs food, I would rate food as a 4, and service a 2-3. Perhaps it was an off night, but we didn't feel attended to. Waited a good 10 mins to even be acknowledged after we were seated. We felt the need to order our entire meal when our server came for our drink order as we didn't want to wait even longer. We overheard the table next to us have to ask to get their server's attention to take their food order.. way after they were almost finished with their initial drink order. During our meal service, our server came by once and never again until I asked for the bill and she never attempted to refill our empty cups.. had to remind her of that as well. I visited Bad Daddy's Burger Bar on 12/19/2018. I was CRAVING their black bean burger. I first tried the burger during Thanksgiving week at another location and feel in love. This location was closer to my job so I gave them a try. I wasn't disappointed. This is only the 2nd black bean burger I have ever had in life, but it is SO SO GOOD!. I had it fried. I might try grilled next time. I had it made the way it comes, minus the green chiles. I have added this to my list of favorite things. Love it!!! read more

Fantastic customer service, clean bathrooms and finally a WELL DONE BURGER WITH NO PINK AND STILL JUICY AF! The $6.50 margaritas that are limit 2 per customer are on point! Will be back again! This place serves up a pretty delicious burger. We went to the restaurant on a Wednesday evening (around 7:00 p.m.) and the place was packed. Luckily there was one open table and we were seated immediately. The staff members were great! Friendly, courteous and quick service. The food came out rather quickly after we ordered and it was very good. I had The Western burger with tots. I loved my food. I was stuffed and very satisfied. Great burger place! I got a burger on a lettuce wrap and they are among the best to execute that. Fries are fresh cut. I tried the Parmesan truffle and I would say they are worth the up charge. Moscow mule was great; not too sweet and has that great tang from ginger. For the burger, I paid extra for an egg and bacon. Egg was good but I would not pay extra for bacon again. It wasn't the highest quality (not thick cut) and I don't think it's worth $1.50. I also wouldn't go for their house chips again either. But aside from those two things, all went well and I would definitely come back. read more
