This place offers a ton of awesome topping choices with the make your own burger option. With the name of Burger Bar, one would expect the burgers to be the stars. Nope. The burgers are FROZEN. Same exact shape, thickness, size, perfect circle, completely flat. And of course you know the taste of a frozen burger. We were shocked. They named their restaurant after their flair for burgers. Could not believe it. Also the restaurant was about 2/3 full and service was really slow. How slow? I got my food BEFORE I got my beer! Apparently there was a backup at the milkshake maker...?? This was my first time visiting this place. When I tell you from start to finish. 1st of I had one of the sweetest waitresses ever. Her name was Jackie. She was so awesome, friendly and professional. If I could rate this place a zero I would. My husband and I arrived yesterday around noon. We were seated and waited 5 minutes for the server to show up. We ordered our drinks and also ordered our meals because we were so hungry. It was hot inside the establishment as there was no AC, the doors were open, and flies were flying all around. We waited and waited. 25 minutes later my husband asked the server how much longer it was going to be. She goes to the back and immediately returns with our food. We had no napkins nor did we have utensils which I needed as I ordered a bison burger with no bun. I waited and waited and finally went to the bar and asked the bartender if she could get me utensils and napkins. As I waited my husband started on his burger and fries only to find they were very cold. The server returned with my utensils and torn paper towels (the kind from the restroom) because they had no napkins. The condiments I asked for I didn't receive and at this point the server was never around and I opted to just eat without them because I was starving. For the amount of money we spent on these burgers, I would've had much better service and food at Ted's Montana Grill which I wished we had gone to. We were beyond disappointed because we live right down the road from this establishment and I heard nothing but great things and we were excited to try it. I don't know how the food is because I left after waiting 10 minutes to be acknowledged. Two servers walked by me. Had to get the hostesses attention to seat me, she gave me an extra menu for some reason. I've heard mediocre and bad reviews from friends but, I decide to try myself. While waiting to be served, I watched the wait staff. They have no service training or standards. I was a F&B Manager from the Ritz. While I don't except that level of service, I do expect to be greeted within 10 minutes. We arrived at 9:22pm. Asked the front if we could still sit, because it was close to closing time. She said yes no worries, and we weren't planning on being the last ones there anyways. After fifteen minutes of no one acknowledging us, we asked for our sever. Our server finally stopped by at 9:38pm to say shell be with us shortly. It's 9:57pm and our waters or drinks haven't arrived yet. We flagged someone down to ask for our waters... So someone else, not our server, brought out waters and we asked where our drinks were and they were sitting at the bar.... We got one of our apps at 10pm and we asked for silverware. We just got silverware ten minutes later and she realized she forgot our wings... She grabbed our sharing plates and I mentioned we were still waiting on our wings. She looked at us with surprise and said oh you ordered wings? Came back and said she put it in but it was the kitchens fault bc they forgot to make it... Weird bc she didn't even realize we ordered wings. After we got our food, we grabbed our own ketchup from another table bc she did not stop by to see how we were doing. Our sides were cold. But the fastest thing that came out was the check at 10:18pm. We ate quickly and left as fast as we could. Worse service we have ever experienced. No one was acknowledging we were there. No one was pleasant. If we knew the service was going to be this lacking or horrible, we would have gone somewhere else. We will not be going back there again. read more

The burgers here are amazing. Went with my roommate after work for burgers and drinks and 10/10 would recommend. My roommate is vegetarian and she stated the black bean burger was the best she ever had. I chose the make your own burger option and put fried mozzarella on my burger. Best decision of my life. It was like mozzarella sticks on my burger!! Amazing. The beer is decently priced. I mean you're paying for the selection which I can respect. The only hang up is the price and amount of their mule in paradise drink. It is way to expensive for the tiny "mug" it comes it. It is delicious though which is why I'm still giving the bar 5 stars. I got the patty melt. It was dripping in grease, and it was so salty I couldn't finish the second half. About four hours later I vomited. My husband and I discovered Bad Daddy's randomly one day and decided to go in. The service was amazing and service crew was so diverse and personable; it was really refreshing and always made us feel welcome. I've been here a total of 3 times the first time on opening day, which they were on point with everything! My last visit my wife came with me as I told her how great it was...well it didn't go over so well(in fact my wife was like what was all the hubbub about). My wife doesn't eat red meat much at all(maybe 2 times a year...maybe), so talking her into coming here took a lot of convincing ...the Burgers were just ok...kinda dry and there was more condiments than last time(the buns got soggy-ish), the fried pickles seem to be on the salty side and the fries seem to be a mix of soggy and crispy(which was kinda weird) well, I felt bad as my prior experiences were good and my wife didn't enjoy herself...maybe it was a one time fluke(as they were very busy) but I don't think I can talk my wife to going back to the place...I was really hoping this was gonna be my "burger" place...oh well read more

I appreciate the fact that this establishment was open with everything going in regards to COVID-19. However, while it was moderately busy, I placed a take out order for just one burger and a side of fries, and they said it would take 15 minutes. I left and came back and noticed a take out box sitting on the bar. While the lady at the bar who took my order noticed me standing there, she did not say anything, so I assumed "Okay, obviously that's not my order." Then people who started coming in after me started to get their newly placed orders before me. A supposed 15 minute wait turned into a 45 minute wait. It turns out that the box sitting on the bar was my order, they just did not realize. They still gave it to me even though it had been sitting there for 20+ minutes. I opened the box, saw it was cold, and asked for a new order. The host said they would give me a free appetizer for the inconvenience and bring a menu. Meh. A lot of promise with a creative menu, but the lack of seasoning (salt? Pepper? Anything?) on the burgers leaves them as bland pieces of meat. The buttermilk fried bacon is reminiscent of the worst thing you could buy fried at a local fair. The uber thin strip of institutional bacon is covered with a 3/8 inch batter of grease and breading and bad decisions; the bacon is just lost. The homemade chips were good; but again, oozing in grease. Highlights were definitely the french onion dip and the turkey burger. Won't bother going back. Too many other choices. read more

Today 06/07/2018 at 12:15 two of my coworkers and myself decided to give the new burger joint a try. I'll begin with the good. It's in a great location and the décor is nice; sort of eclectic. ... And that's where the "good" ends.  It wasn't crowded or very busy so we were seated immediately. Our server, (I believe he said his name was Hal or Hugh) came to give us menu's and take our drink orders. He was pleasant. We placed our orders, nothing complicated; one order for Sliders and fries, a 7 oz. burger with sweet potato fries and I ordered a 7 oz. with regular fries. We talked a bit about work. Our server came back to check on us and to tell us that our food would be out in "a second." We talked about work a bit more. And then we noticed the time and how long we'd been waiting. When our server came to check on us again, we expressed our dissatisfaction at the length of time we'd waited, requested our food be placed in to go containers and we requested to speak with the manager.  When she came to the table according to her, our orders had only been placed 10 minutes prior and that they would be next. We were on our lunch HOUR and had sat there waiting to eat nearly that long. The manager didn't appear to be very concerned. She actually seemed to think it was funny that we were complaining. At 1:55 we walked out of Bad Daddy's Burger Bar and I doubt I'll ever go again. Unless improvements are made, I doubt this establishment will be a success. Mine in particular wasn't cooked as ordered, under not over but somehow still on the dryer side. Again, pressed while cooking? Maybe that's why mine was thinner. The garlic condiment wasn't garlicky at all. More like bbq sauce. My fries were mostly tidbits. You know, the tiny ones that fall to the bottom of the bag. If you're in the mood for typical bar fare, the food itself is not bad. We've tried the nachos and a couple different burgers (I personally liked the turkey burger), and enjoyed the food the two times we've visited. The issue here is the service. On both visits, we waited at the host stand for a very long time before ever being greeted by anyone. When a passing server finally noticed us still standing at the front, she sat us at one of the open tables. There, we waited even longer for our assigned server to ever come by to take our order. Given this was a new restaurant at the time, we tried to be patient despite not having gotten any service for over 30 minutes. To be fair, the manager came by when the food eventually arrived and not only apologized, but comped our entire meal. For this reason, we decided to come back a couple weeks later for some takeout and to give them a second chance. Unfortunately when we arrived, the hostess straight up said "oh crap, I forgot to put your order in." We again, had to wait nearly 30 minutes for our food, but this time didn't even get an apology. Sorry Bad Daddy's - your food is not good enough to return a third time for such disappointing service. read more
