Not a lot of space for large parties and you order through the kiosk, feels more like a fast food ordering process, good for those who are less talkative or would like to avoid small pleasantries. The food was decent, the signature noodle was very tasty, Sichuan pepper, sesame sauce and noodle worked wonderfully together. The pork chop was thick cut and marinated and cooked excellently, full of flavor. The corn chowder was good, thick and tasty. The appetizer were great! The braised tofu was very flavorful and the texture was wonderful. The fermented cabbage was flavorful and sour and sweet in a good combination. Ironically, the signature potstickers were just mediocre, I personally would like it more crispy but I guess to each their own. Overall, I would come back to the restaurant again! AVOID this place if possible! Long story short, there was hair in my drink. I went in at 3pm for a cup of soy milk with only other customer, it took them MORE THAN TEN MINUTES for that one cup. I saw three workers just grabbing cokes from the counter and chatting rather than working! Had to try their signature dishes and went for the dumplings, noodles, and spicy wonton. All were pretty decent but I think my favorite would be the spicy wonton. The sauce for it is very good and so we decided to mix that in to the noodles to add in a bit of a kick to it since it was slightly slightly bland. The signature dumplings was okay to me imo. I don't think there's a single place in the Bay where you can get a a 12 dumpling combo AND an entire wonton soup for only $13! Bafang's dumplings are also incredibly juicy on the inside and crispy on the outside - just be careful not to burn yourself when you bite down. Another standout dish to get here is the Bafang Pork Chop which is marbled with just the right amount of fat and seasoned with the classic spices - this is hard to put down. This is a fastfood type dumpling place and I like it. It's no frills. I came here by chance for dinner and it looked super busy so I figured it might be good. I asked a couple of patrons if the the noodles were really that spicy and they told me it wasn't so I decided to order the signature noodles, fried pork and wonton soup. You order from a kiosk & what I like about it is they don't ask for a tip! Most restaurants even if it's self serve will ask you for some kind of gratuity on the screen before agreeing to pay and this one didn't. It's pretty much self serve and the food was fast and good. Everything tastes better when you add their sauces from the sauce bar area, which includes garlic sauce, vinegar, a sesame oil, and a siracha. These are pretty watered down, so pour them on. The corn and chicken have full size corn kernels. I found them to be okay. The signature dumplings had a bit too much cabbage for me, but they are tasty. The pork and kimchi are good too. I've tried the corn soup and the hot and sour soup. Neither are the flavor profiles I crave to go back and have. Their signature noodles were a bit starchy for me. I was so excited that Bafang Dumpling opened up just minutes away from me! I'd heard so much about the chain and finally had the perfect opportunity to try it without having to brave the lines in Rowland Heights. Their dumplings are generously filled and so juicy. We tried the Bafang Signature Dumplings and it was a delight to find pieces of bamboo tucked into the filling mixture in addition to the ground pork and shredded cabbage. The Corn & Chicken potstickers were perfectly charred, yielding a chewy/crispy bite, each brightened by the sweet corn kernels. Every one of them boasted the signature skirt of a well-made potsticker!! I've tried the Bafang Signature Noodle, the Spicy Mala Noodle and the Old Fashioned Noodle. There isn't a whole lot that distinguishes one from the other, but what I can tell you is that they're all made with hand-pulled noodles that offer a satisfying chew. The item that really surprised me though was the Signature Fried Pork Chop. It's crispy, with a thin, lightly sweetened breading. If I weren't with family, I wouldn't have wanted to share this with anyone. Lastly, I've only tried the Soy Awesome. It's soy milk laden w/ pudding, grass jelly, red bean, and fresh taro and it definitely lived up to its namesake. Doesn't necessarily need a sauce, lots of flavor Bafang Signature Noodle - SO GOOD! This tasted like a mix of DanDan noodles (with the numby spicy taste) and sesame noodles. This didn't come with any toppings but it didn't need it. It's a good noodle dish in itself thanks to the mix of flavors. Beef Noodle Soup - SO GOOD! The beef pieces were plenty, the stewed daikon was tender, soup broth was good and it comes with medium thick noodles that were cooked perfectly. And it had the pickled mustard greens on top (when you see pickled mustard greens on beef noodle soup, it's for sure going to be legit and delicious) Bafang Pork Chop - we enjoyed this, it reminded me of the Taiwanese pork chops that come in the bento boxes Chili Pepper Fried Chicken - I believe this was chicken thigh as it was really juicy and tender. It was fried perfectly and the chili sauce was really good on this. Trying this place for the second time and their new location! I had gone to the grand opening of this location in City of Industry, and had loved their potstickers (specifically their signature). This review is for the service and not the food. The food was good but service sucks. They do not have any SOP how to handle Togo orders. First of all, the person who answered the phone is not familiar with their own menu, so everything need to be repeat 3 or 4 times for confirmation because she can't "find" the item number to enter. Second, my order is not ready due to a mistake they made, they accidentally "gave" my order to someone else, so I need to wait for them to remake. It's a mess and a war zone, the chef keep throwing food on the kitchen table randomly without matching any invoice, and the worker need to yell at them to confirm what it is. Also different worker was putting stuff into the same order bag so each time they took all the item out to confirm what it is and putting back in again & again lol read more

How should I put it? If you're going to advertise yourself as a potsticker and dumpling place, you better come in on a scale between 7-9 out of 10. I ordered the signature noodles and potstickers combo because I wanted to try their potstickers and noodles without overspending on my first visit here. Nothing's worse than ordering a bunch of food at a new spot just to be underwhelmed. The potstickers tasted pretty bland and the filling were not so filling. There was barely any meat, mostly cabbage. The pan fry was good, the skin had a nice crunch on the bottom. I've definitely had way better and even a trip to the Asian market frozen aisle can net you better tasting potstickers than this place. The noodles were equally underwhelming. The noodles tasted bland, wasn't spicy (though advertised as such), nothing accompanied it but green onions. These noodles can pass for instant noodles. The service was nonexistent as you go get your own food at the counter after they buzz you with the buzzer they give you after you order. Unfortunately, the girl forgot to give me the right buzzer and I sat there waiting on my food to get cold until I finally went up to ask her about it. In a way, I do like this location better than the one in Temple City, but it's farther away for us. Compared to the Temple City location, this one is a bigger restaurant with a bigger parking lot. Food quality is the same as the other locations. In our opinion, their signature pork dumplings and signature potstickers are on the bland side, but the kimchi and pork, as well as chicken and corn dumplings and potstickers, are more tasty and flavorful. I've also tried the beef noodle soup, pork chop and spicy fried chicken and thoroughly enjoyed them. Boneless pork chop and fried chicken for the win. Also their corn chowder and wonton soup are some of the best we've had as well. And the staff certainly had no issue with me placing large takeout orders near closing time. I felt kinda bad for doing that, but they took my order with a smile on their faces. Although during the first time I went, the young Asian lady working that night had a bit of trouble understanding me and consequently she seemed a bit frustrated with me, but she got the gist of what I asked for. My husband and I were excited to see a new dumpling place open up near us. We tried it out the other day and it was pretty good! It was on a Wednesday night and it was busy, but not busy where we couldn't find a seat. There was a line out the door, but it moved quickly. We ordered the Bafang Signature Noodle, house potstickers, house dumplings and their lemon tea. All we're delicious! My favorite was the signature noodle. It had a hint of Szechuan and it was creamy. The potstickers had a nice crispy side and the flavors were good. The dumplings were also pretty solid. The price was also not bad. It's definitely worth it to do the Combo Meals!
