Loved it! Fresh dumplings have a light refreshing quality to it. After eating a variety of dumplings I didn't feel the heavy starch overload. The rice paper was light and steamed to perfection. Service was quick and helpful explaining the menu. My favorite was the corn and chicken with the garlic sauce. I opted for the corn soup over the tea. The soup was rich and delicious but I would add a drink next time. read more

Superbly priced dumplings and super soft and free sauce station. I personally go back and forth between the potsticker and the dumplings. Frozen dumplings to make at home as well are W value. read more

Always good food here. You first order what you want at the counter and first come first serve the seats. You can help yourself to free water and sauces. When your food is ready your buzzer will ping and you'll be able to pick it up and devoured it! We ordered potstickers, dumplings, the sesame noodles, and a pork cutlet which is the best. Nice environment and good food and drinks! read more

You guys have to be super careful about pickup order. I have couple bad experiences not getting all items I ordered. I did not realize the missing item until I got home. Tried to call the store but no one is picking up phone calls. This is the 3rd time I had this issue with this location and I am very pissed! read more

Came on the weekend and it was absolutely packed. Had to hover around some people in order to get the seats. I tried all three potstickers. I liked the kimchi one the most. However the other two flavors were not that amazing, it tasted very basic and very similar to Ling Ling potstickers from Costco, imo. The Bafang signature noodles were really good however - highly recommend, 10/10. I guess another reason why this place is bumped down to 4 stars: like other Asian restaurants that adopted this during the pandemic period, this place doesn't reuse anything at all and everything is 100% disposable utensil and takeout bowls and plates. read more

We have now come here 3 times, and enjoyed it each time. We have only taken our food to go, but it can get crowded inside. Thankfully you can call your oder in and just pick it up. The only item we didn't like was the sesame noodles, but everything else has been great. Oh and the soup, try all 3! read more

Bafang Noodles - So good. Sesame sauce with slight szechuan chili flavor, not too overpowering or numbing. Pepper Chicken - Really good sauce and flavor. Chicken and Corn Potstickers - Pretty good! Soy Boba - If you love soy milk, get this. But if you don't, then get regular boba from some other place. read more

I liked the signature noodles and potstickers. The pork chop and chicken was dry and the chicken was especially chewy and stringy. It was weird. They were out of the spicy wontons, which is what I really wanted. I'll probably be back, but not for the pork chop or chili pepper fried chicken. It was also quite messy in the restaurant, the "sauce bar" had drips and spills all over and some of the bottles were empty. read more

Tried their Signature Potstickers before in City of Industry, and it had no taste and bland. They open one in Chino Hills and it's 5 minutes from our home, so I decided to give it second try. Everything is reasonably priced. It is a cafe style where you order at the counter and get your own food when it's ready. Potstickers are tasty. I really like the beef noodle soup. It has a good amount of beef and very flavorful. I really hope that they can have flavored eggs to go with it in the future. read more

LOVE this place! We came here for Grand Opening weekend and literally ordered almost one of everything. We also got a free cooler tote bag which was great for taking the leftovers with us because we ordered so much food between 3 people :) I can't wait to come back here because everyone was so nice despite the crowd of people, and the food came out relatively quick. Below are the items we ordered and reviews for each one: Bafang Signature potstickers - good mix of cabbage and pork, really good with the sauces they provide at the DIY sauce bar Kimchi Pork potstickers - I thought the kimchi flavor was a bit overpowering but these were still good. Doesn't necessarily need a sauce, lots of flavor Bafang Signature Noodle - SO GOOD! This tasted like a mix of DanDan noodles (with the numby spicy taste) and sesame noodles. This didn't come with any toppings but it didn't need it. It's a good noodle dish in itself thanks to the mix of flavors. Beef Noodle Soup - SO GOOD! The beef pieces were plenty, the stewed daikon was tender, soup broth was good and it comes with medium thick noodles that were cooked perfectly. And it had the pickled mustard greens on top (when you see pickled mustard greens on beef noodle soup, it's for sure going to be legit and delicious) Bafang Pork Chop - we enjoyed this, it reminded me of the Taiwanese pork chops that come in the bento boxes Chili Pepper Fried Chicken - I believe this was chicken thigh as it was really juicy and tender. It was fried perfectly and the chili sauce was really good on this. My brother said he would've liked this with a side of rice lol Soy Awesome Drink - loaded with pudding, grass jelly, red bean and fresh taro. I didn't try this but my mom loved this! Soy Tiger Boba Drink - this was also delicious! The boba was cooked perfectly, sweet and chewy. I love how the drinks are all soy-based to include those who are lactose intolerant. I ordered on the app which advised me that my food would be ready in 10 minutes. It was right around 11:30 AM so I expected to wait a bit longer than that. A hour later, my food still wasn't ready but no one's food was ready. The staff looked really confused and kept cooking food, putting it into a bag...staring at the receipt on the bag, then removing the food from the bag, putting the food into another bag...repeat. Finally I couldn't wait any longer because my lunch break was about to end. I asked how long it would take from this point and they told me six minutes.........."Hopefully"....that was all I could take and simply requested a refund at that point because I realized they hadn't even STARTED cooking MY order... read more

Top notch dumpling with an interesting and tasty twist. If this is your first time the menu can be confusing at first, but simply enough they offer during my visit 3 flavor of dumpling cooked in a variety of different way. They all taste good, personally I preferred the original best but for the most part you can't go wrong. Their spicy dumplings are good and I love their various noodles as well. We got a few variety of them. The one feed back that I have to the restaurant especially for dining in is that everything is disposable and it is such a waste. Worse yet the location where we disposed of the utensil, the trash was full and even their extra rolled in trash was full. Some attention is needed there. Overall the food is great and the staff is amazing, the person who took our order took the time to explain everything to us first timer. In short think of this as the McDonald for Dumpling. I wish they do more to curb waste. read more

Great spot for Taiwanese classics after a hike at Chino Hills State Park. The signature dumplings are an absolute must-try. Super fresh and comforting, especially with the garlic sauce. Waited 5 minutes to order saw a sign t use kiosk. 30 seconds after we moved to kiosk 3 more people walked in and all 3 orders were taken before we finished. Placed an order for pick up Sunday afternoon. We literally ordered one of everything to try. When we arrived and went to the Pick Up counter, they seemed confused that I had a called in order. It took the young man a few seconds to register what I said. After I paid, he pushed 2 bags toward me and gave me 2 gift bags. Then a young lady handed me 2 drinks and asked if I wanted them in one of the bags. I said yes thinking the drinks were also gifts. As we started heading out the door, a customer yelled at me that they were her drinks. When I looked back at the young lady that gave me the drinks, she just looked confused and didn't say anything one way or another. I just gave the other customer the drinks since it wasn't something I wanted. I know they just opened recently but didn't seem like there was any manager there to help guide the staff. The potstickers and dumplings were all good, But not any better than other Chinese places. The fried chicken and pork chop were good also. The beef noodle was disappointing. Lacked good broth taste and the beef was a bit tough. The other noodle dishes were fine. read more

They are in the soft opening phase and I still had a better experience here than the City of Industry location. Bafang shares a parking lot with 99 Ranch so you can get your grocery shopping done and come after for a quick bite. The food all comes out quickly and the prices are affordable for potstickers and noodles. Their potstickers are crispy and have to be eaten there for the best experience. I do wish their filling had more meat to it but I still think it's a good value. Juice doesn't come gushing out of the potstickers like other places do but they have garlic sauce, soy sauce, and vinegar on the side for you to dip your postickers in. My wife really enjoyed their signature noodles. Noodles were perfectly cooked with a nice savory, slightly peanut sauce. Their boba was inexpensive compared to other boba shops but I would still pay the extra $2 for a better quality boba milk tea. All in all, this is a good place to get your money's worth and I enjoy the quick service. read more

Horrible experience for my first visit. Ordered two soy milk drinks. Requested easy ice as usual. Waited 25 minutes while there were only a few diners in the house. Went up to ask, then I was told that they have been ready long time ago. Just cuz one of their staffs "forgot" and that's why my number is not called and my pager was not beeped. Great! After i got home and found out both drink were occupied by 70% ice. Again, brilliant! Never again for me. read more

Food is good but you have to be very very careful because I got over charged for a item and ask them for the refund. After over seven business days, I still didn't get my credit back and have to call my credit card to dispute it. In fact, they Never answer the phone call in that particular store as I call numerous of time! read more

Great lunch spot-- super quick service with a focused menu. We basically tried the whole menu and everything was really tasty and also toddler-approved! The standout for me was the beef noodle soup! The broth was really tasty and well portioned. The lemon tea was a bit sweet for my taste, but that really just meant I added tea/water/ice at home and got 2 drinks out of it. :) read more

Location is fairly new and quite busy. Went on a double date and ordered pot stickers, dumplings and the house noodles. I really enjoyed the house pot stickers and the dumplings were great, too. The noodles weren't my favorite. If you like nutty/cinnamon flavored things, you'll probably enjoy the noodles. My friends also got the pork cutlet and it, too, was quiet cinnamon flavored. I wouldn't drive all the way out to Chino for these dumplings/potstickers, but they were objectively good. The overall service was okay. read more

The tempura is great, and I enjoy the pumpkin one the best; however, the last time I went, they didn't allow you to pick the tempura in the cafeteria style line, which is a big part of the experience! We had to order the tempura at the register. They made it to order, which meant it was fresh, but by the time the tempura comes out, I was pretty much already done with the udon, so I can't enjoy the food together. Not sure if that was a one time thing, but if it is a permanent thing, that takes away from the fun and unique cafeteria style experience and makes this just like any other restaurant. But overall, this location is just good. There are a lot of other good restaurants in the Rolling Ridge plaza, but I would go here if I'm in the mood.

As I went for dinner on Friday night, I noticed the restaurant was bright with large windows that allowed me to see many customers waiting, which I considered a good sign. I ordered the beef noodle soup and fried pork chop with old fashioned noodles, which totaled around thirty dollars - an expected price for any decent meal in this economy. However, while waiting for my meal, I had to change tables twice. The first table I was at had a line of ants crawling onto it from the nearby wall. And the second table was dirty. In terms of the food, it was decent but not the best I've had. Many people have said it's good, and I did appreciate the nice, chewy texture of the noodles. But the beef noodle soup wasn't hot enough for me to enjoy it throughout the meal. I left the restaurant feeling full but not entirely satisfied. I've been a regular customer of Bafang Dumplings and usually enjoy their food for my work lunches. However, I was really disappointed with the beef noodles I had yesterday for lunch. They had a chemical or disinfectant-like taste, which was very unpleasant and honestly quite alarming. I even called in the afternoon to report the issue, but received no response. This raises serious concerns about food safety and quality control. I hope the restaurant takes this seriously and makes the necessary improvements. Loyal customers deserve better. read more

Wasn't a fan of the ready to go appetizers but that was due to my taste and unfamiliarity of the offerings and not their wrong doing. I actually think the serving size is larger than the same dish at the Rowland Heights location. I also ordered the Boiled Lettuce ($7.99), which was delicious. I especially appreciated that the sauce was served on the side instead of being poured over the vegetables. It allowed me to control how much sauce I wanted, so the dish wasn't overly salty. The owner was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The prices are very reasonable for the generous portions.
