If I could give it 0 star I would. I felt gassy, had diarrhea, and was vomiting after eating here. Once I called them and spoke to the manager TINA. She chuckled at me when I told her all my symptoms said that it's not food poisoning even when I told her I talked to my doctor. I asked for a refund because I should not have to deal with the repercussions of eating at somewhere I thought would be safe. She refused and kept telling me 3 people have to call for it to be food poisoning. I told her I would be talking to the health department and she said go ahead they won't do anything about it because more people have to come forward. Please don't eat here. Tina is literally so disrespectful and she will laugh if you tell her you have good poisoning. She should really take another course on food safety and food borne illness! If you feel that this establishment serves great food, you're soooooo deprived of what is "really" delicious.

Being from the Bay Area, it was hard for me to initially want to give this place a chance because it's not really very close to the ocean. My need for seafood got me past this real quick and I am glad I tried this restaurant. I'm a Crawfish fiend, so I am glad this place has them on the regular and at prices that are always fair and consistent with market value. They make everything to order from whole crab to oysters to chicken tenders and their flavor options for their seafood are all great, I'd suggest mixing them all and putting some heat on it. Also, they have a pretty cool robot server but he is a terrible employee, twice he cruised past my table. read more

I was excited to for this new place in Merced. I ordered $70 worth of food. Unfortunately the flavor was flavorless. I've eaten at a lot of crawfish restaurants this place however was disappointing. I really hope they step it up. Maybe I'll revisit in 6 months, maybe. read more

I loveeee this place. I've ordered it three times in one month. I first had the pound of crawfish and mussel combo with extra corn and potatoes. I got the atomic flavor with medium heat. It was full of flavor and not shy about the spicy. Every bite is amazing. The mussels are big and juicy almost resembling oysters. All the seafood is fresh. The garlic noodles are great. I love the fried fish and calamari. I also had the shrimp and mussels, same flavor and heat as above. It's a 10/10 every time. It's absolutely satisfying and it goes a long way. This restaurant is housed in what used to be an iHop restaurant. While I liked IHOP, BagOCrab is a welcome change! The food is always good and the potions are fairly generous. Inside service is pretty good and there isn't usually any long wait for your order to arrive via a mechanical robot, which is interesting. The waitress then unloads and served your meal and pushed a button to have the robot return to the kitchen - an interesting gimmick and kids love to watch it. An interesting Cajun menu and tasty food ! My only negative has to do with staff that don't seem to have much to do at times. I have ordered meals to pick up several times and it is ready very quickly. But each time I go to pick it up I see 3 to five Young girls chatting among themselves at the cash register desk. They often take their time acknowledging people who come in for food pick up because they seem to be so embroiled in their conversation - even when I can see the food to go sitting right there with them. Overall a good choice if you like Cajun inspired food at a reasonable price (even in the current Pandemic atmosphere and not overpriced, like so many are these days!) We had gumbo in house and it was 2x the size as when we ordered to go. Not even sure what seafood was . Texture and taste was chicken. When we complained hostess screamed at us. We asked to see manager. She was standing right there watching the entire scene and said nothing. Two more customers came in to complain about their order and were treated the same.
