Fantastic breakfast spot! We had a Pebble Beach, an After Thanksgiving, Pancakes, and a plain bagel with cream cheese. All the bagels had a great texture and tasted great. The fixings for the bagel sandwiches were very fresh and the combination of flavors was super tasty. The pancakes were cooked just right and were nice and fluffy with yummy fresh fruit. Tried the Lumberjack and The Grove - tasty and big portions that could've easily made for 2 meals. Cute place. Great bagels. Fast service with friendly staff. My only complaint is, I order a bagel with four things on it and it came to over $9. There was a cheaper way to do it with substitutions on a bagel sandwich listed on their menu but the employee wouldn't do it for me. This was a rip off. My friend got a BLT with avocado, which had way more stuff on it, and her bagel sandwich was cheaper. They need a better system for orders like this. read more

Came here for the first time here today. The staff didn't know how to multi task. Many of them moved super slow. I ordered the avocado toast and an iced carmel macchiato and did not like it. Avocado toast was very plain. Could've made that at home... and better. Iced carmel macchiato was not even iced and was very watered down. I had their pastrami bagel! It was heaven. I was really hungry after spending 25 minutes in the near by gym.

The staff where nice and the place was busy but for a $17 bagel I was so disappointed.

This was my first time here. We were around the area for an event and thought we would come here for breakfast. The bagel sandwiches were good and I enjoyed it. I never had a bagel sandwich so I can't say if it was a good price, but I think it is. One main issue I had was.. They have an order here sign on the ceiling by the bagel area. I was new to the place so I didn't look up at the ceiling when I went inside. My eyes went straight to the bagels and up to the cashier area to order (which is a good thing right? You want someone to want your bagels and order ASAP). I didn't see anywhere by the cashier that says order elsewhere so we were standing there for a bit and NO ONE ever told us to order in the front and I know they all saw us standing there because when we went in, there wasn't many people and whoever was there, already ordered. We stood there and other workers would ring up customers and didn't acknowledge us at all. I made eye contact with a worker and he just looked at us and let us stand there lol Eventually I was looking around at the ceiling and saw the order sign. Kind of annoying knowing that the workers saw us and didn't say anything or approach us asking if we needed anything, there were about 5-6 workers, if there was 1-2 workers I would have understood, but out of everyone working no one opened there mouth to direct us (do you want my money or not!! Lol). This might not be their fault because maybe I could have walked in and look straight at the ceiling (which I normally don't do) but maybe they could have had some signage lower saying order here. If they did, my bad I didn't see it at all. I came in hangry af so this really irked me. It made me have a bad first impression, luckily the food was decently good Lol okay I'm done ranting. Overall, I would come back the next time I'm in the area. I think it's worth a try, if you want a good breakfast and if you never had a bagel sandwich. read more

I brought my family for breakfast this past Friday. I immediately noticed most of the employees (mainly all three males with tattoos) had blood shot red eyes along with a strong smell of marijuana. Definitely not family friendly place but food was okay. I would recommend the Bagel Bakery instead (down the street), a lot more professional. read more

I went to this establishment to order breakfast food, as the restaurant's name implies that it serves breakfast food. I placed my order at precisely 1:30 at which point I was informed by the staff that they stopped serving breakfast food at 1:30, an hour and a half before they close. They've lost a customer permanently. If you like breakfast food there are plenty of other options in the area nearby. First Awakenings is great, Wild Plum is also delicious, and the Victorian Corner is right down the street. read more

Reallyyy not one to leave bad reviews but damn was I disappointed by this place. The space looks great and tries to cater to all the ~~hip vibes~~ and then you look behind the counter and they're putting your bacon and eggs into the microwave. I mean come on. You can't be charging $6 for a bagel sandwich with MICROWAVED bacon. Just no. My wrap was completely inedible and my friend's croissant sandwich was drenched in this foul smelling orange mayo sauce to the point that we had to chuck both. Just awful. read more

Love this place! Came out to Monterey and felt like breakfast before doing the 17 mile drive. The bagel was super yummy. There's different types of sandwiches and you can choose which bagel you want as your sandwich then they make the magic happen behind the counter. I got a sandwich with no ham with chai tea. Their chai tea is perfect. They sadly didn't have boba but it's okay. The staff was super friendly and they helped me pick out what to get because of my dietary restrictions, and I was happy. If you're in the area and want a simple breakfast this place is definitely the place to be. They even have waffle sandwiches! Which is what my boyfriend got and he was very very pleased :) read more

My husband went here for the first time to pick us up some bagel sandwiches. I got the Reuben and the person making it was halfway through making it when he stated they were out of sauerkraut. It was the lunch rush and the line was super long, so my husband felt pretty obligated to go ahead and buy the reuben sans sauerkraut out of respect for all the people waiting. A reuben without sauerkraut is just a pastrami and cheese sandwich. Pretty boring. I'd be happy to try this place again because the bagels are very good and perfect for a sandwich (they are tender so you can actually bite through them without everything falling out or shifting terribly). But kind of stunk having a reuben without one of the key ingredients. Dressing was tasty, I had it on the side. read more

I debated giving this place one star, but I settled on two because their lox tasted pretty good and fresh and their design/brand aesthetic is pretty nice. Otherwise, stay away. Bagels are nothing like good chewy NY bagels, but I kind of expected that. There were worse offenses: our Meet me in NY bagel was missing the capers and sprouts (I was really looking forward to those capers!), our egg and cheese bagel was prepared by pouring eggs into a plastic dish which was then microwaved, and my Mocha tasted like watered down coffee mixed with Swiss miss. Also, the people preparing, serving, and ringing us up were all over the place and disorganized (4 servers trying to make hot drinks at the same time). Wish we had chosen a different place for breakfast. read more

I love this bagel spot tucked in the corner all the way in PG. wish it was closer towards marina maybe, cuz I would be there everyday! Service is fast and bagel sandwiches come out hot and is super filling. Also loved that they serve authentic Thai iced tea as well as their honey green iced tea, so refreshing. Visiting from out of state, and stopped in this morning for breakfast. Very nice interior and clean as well. Owner was pleasant and patient while we studied the menu. I had the lumberjack on a pizza bagel, and another lumberjack on a bacon cheddar bagel. Delicious ! Washed it down with a nice iced coffee and shot of espresso. Would highly recommend this place to anyone not from the area. (Assuming all locals know about it !) read more
