Hands down BEST BAGELS in town!!!! Crunchy chewy perfection. We always get the sesame toasted with lox spread and it never disappoints. I used to order from Bagel Snack when I worked at Nationwide Health until they spit in one of my coworkers' food for selling them poor insurance. Really good bagel, really good salmon. Yum! I asked my Dad to find us a proper New York style deli for brunch today and he brought us to Bagel Snack. Like finding lots of Chinese people eating at a Chinese restaurant is a sign that it's authentic, entering Bagel Snack and hearing all the New York accents tells you that it's going to be good. Big menu with everything from sandwiches to matzah brei to potato pancakes, you're going to be hard pressed to not find something you'll enjoy. It took me a few minutes to finally decide that it was going to be the smoked salmon platter today and wow, was it the right choice! Of course, while looking over the menu you're going to have to enjoy some of the pickles and cole slaw that's brought to the table. Yum. A big platter of smoked salmon was delivered by our Coney Island native waitress and on the plate was onion and rich tomato slices and olives and cucumber and cream cheese. Their potato salad is good - that's really all they have going for them. My work place orders food from them every single day and so as you can imagine- I've tried all they have. The food is all very bland and boring. Anything you order will need to be drenched in seasoning and sauce- to be even remotely edible. You know when you get the urge to have something and want to treat yourself? Well I woke up and wanted to have a nice BLT for lunch. I placed an order for some bagels, cream cheese and my blt for an 11am pick up. I placed the order around 9:30 and at 9:40 received a text my order was ready. I texted them back going how do you make a toasted sandwich 2.5hrs earlier then pick up? I received not response. I picked up my order as it was sitting on their order pick up table. Yup cream cheese sitting in a bag since 9:30. And the BLT that I was looking forward to and paid $9.99 for, what a disappointment. Bread asked to be toasted was not, lettuce was limp (well was sitting in table for 2.5hrs) and bacon not crunch either it was soft also. Can you imagine if I ordered a side of fries with it they would have been ice cold. In all with my dozen bagels, cream cheese and lousy sandwich I paid $30. Sure they have the best bagels in the area but maybe time to drop the carbs! Train you staff to read the orders or your going to loose more customers. read more

We were seated immediately because a group in front of us had more people and there wasn't a big enough table to seat them at the moment. Service took some time, but like I said, it was super packed, so we didn't have a problem waiting, plus our waitress was nice. I think we both ordered eggs of some sort, I got a bagel with my meal, but I didn't eat all of it. We received a lot of food and didn't pay an arm and a leg for it all.
