Always fun Sunday brunch place near Palm Aire. Service is quick (especially a blessing when you're hungry) fantastic menu with a wide variety of breakfast, brunch, and lunch selections. Lee is the hostess with the mostest, and gets you seated right away, always at the table you prefer to sit at. Sarah is hands down the best server and who to ask for. She is snappy, incredibly efficient, and intuitive when it comes to taking your order. She is so funny, and makes you laugh even when you don't feel like laughing. As far as the bagels, they are chewy but not too hard, tasty, and so delicious. Well, of course this Jewish deli IS BAGEL snack. The deli has knishes, kugel, kasha and bowties, all kinds of deli appetizers, cheeses, and more. All absolutely delicious. I could go on here, but do yourself a service and check out the menu. I've eaten bagels in many places and many cities, these have to be the freshest chewiest most amazing tasting bagels I have ever had. I've also tried their pumpernickel and I can't tell you the last time I've had it tastes so perfectly. Even their cream cheese is so smooth it almost feels like silky butter. Been going here for years for breakfast. Food and service has always been excellent. However, the few times I've gone, the bagels they serve with breakfast are not the same that are in the front. This happened a few times now. It will be a while till I'm back. If I do go back, I will make it a point to say something. I really hope the owners see this message. Not sure why they do this as they have great bagels. The everything bagel I got looked like a frozen bagel compared to the bagels that were displayed. Again, 2nd time this has happened. I've been a customer here for 12 years. Last breakfast I had was inedible. Greasy and cold. I purchased yellow split pea soup to go. It smelled strange ..Smoky. Found some black hard thing like rubber in the soup. On my next visit (today) I brought in a picture of the soup. I didn't want another soup or my money back..just acknowledgment. The cashier brought the soup to the owner. He sent her back with the message that if he didn't see it he would not believe it. A loyal customer no more. Don't go there. It has changed. read more

I thought I already had a review for this place but I must have been slacking! You will not find a bagel, diner, or deli as authentic or delicious anywhere in Broward. Hands down the best bagel's outside of the state NY. The guys behind the counter are awesome and when you're a regular, you almost feel like family! I lived in the are for so many years and it's been a good three years or so since my first visit. I wish I would have found out about Bagel Snack much sooner. One of the few of a dieing breed - a bagel delis that is not a corporate chain. The vision: a NY deli specializing in bagles, nessled in the busy city of Aventura not far from the Aventura mall with most of what you could ask for. They have lox, fresh Nova, a few cases displaying theirs baked goods, and lots of bagles in many flavors. If your in a rush or just want to take it to go you have the to go area to your immediate left after you enter. This is a well known gem in the area, and they have a healthy crowd of loyalists so be prepared to wait for a table if you decide to eat it, especially on the weekend. A plus to eating in is the samples of danish that the waitress usually brings to your table after you've ordered something to drink. Delish! They're soft, moist, and not overbearingly sweet. Onto the food: they have a huge variety of food here and offer kosher options as well. The bagels are large and usually all I need is one and some of the home potatoes fill me up and fuel me until dinner. 02/18/2017 Back again, bagels, egg, corn beef hash, hash brown potatoes this morning. Place was crowded but got seated pretty quickly. Beautiful bagels in the window. Staff was working very hard and friendly BUT, and with only two stars this trip you knew there would be a BUT. The bagels were either burned or cold and the food was dropped on the plate without any love from the chef. There seemed to have no pride in the work, just hurry and turn the tables. After exploring the many bagel options in the area, this spot is one of my favorites. I have come here several times and only been happy with the staff, food and comfortable location to meet for breakfast. Bagel Snack is tucked in the back of a shopping center and is not the most visually pleasing, but they make up for it in the quality of their food. You can tell from the taste of their bagels that they are fresh and their cream cheeses and meats are also freshly cut or prepared. My only real complaints are the coffee is inconsistent. I personally like iced coffee and sometimes it is perfect and others it tastes watered down. Perhaps it is the person that makes it or the time of day, but that is my only concern related to the food. Then the other thing that bugs me is the vortex of the menu that is laid out in a way to offer you the same results at a different price, but all that aside I love this place and plan on continuing to come here to enjoy breakfast or lunch! read more

When I called on Sunday 4/25/21 at 11:39am, the woman who answered the phone barely greeted and said please hold; I was left to hold for a whole 6 minutes and never did she return. I hung up I called back, no answer, called a 3rd time - this time a lovely woman answered & answered my quick question. Upon arrival to pick up my order, I looked around couldn't quite figure it out so I said excuse me to the woman who was behind the counter but had her back to the customers while she was sipping on her soup and her response was yes a long-drawn-out yes as a your bothering me; I Asked where do I pick up and at that moment the 2nd woman came around - super lovely blonde hair mom-like - very quickly and said oh what is your name I got you from here. The lesson here is the woman that was drinking the soup behind the counter with the dark black hair needs training or she needs to go - super super rude and does NOT represent Bagel Snack well. The matza ball soup was a tad salty as was the pastrami. Rugelach was very doughy which took away from the special flavor. Otherwise, awesome offerings & everybody else very attentive. read more

Definitely did not expect a full on Deli when Sam and I walked in here one Saturday morning. I was really craving lox on a bagel, and I wasn't feeling the go-to Einstein's. I found Bagel Snack in a quick Yelp search and we headed right over. This place is like a full on Jewish Deli (Not Kosher). Sam and I were so excited to browse over the menu. Sam saw so many items that reminded him of his childhood with his Jewish father from the Bronx. Sam decided on a Taylor ham sandwich and a knish. I ordered lox on an everything bagel and some potato pancakes with sour cream. We also ordered two coffees. Our meals came out pretty quickly, and the wait staff were all super nice. The food was great. Everything was delicious. The bagel had the perfect amount of salmon on it and the potato pancakes were very flavorful. Sam loved his food as well. My only complaint is that the meal was a little pricey. We spent around $40 for everything (including tax and tip). Seems a bit high for 2 small sandwiches and 2 small sides with coffee, right? The food was awesome, but I don't know if my bank account can handle us going back again and again. read more

I don't normally write reviews, but this is ridiculous. Our office is 1.6 miles way from your location, less than a 5 minute drive with traffic. We placed a breakfast order before 9:30am, and the estimated delivery time was 10:00am. It is now 11:00 and we still have not received our food. Called at 10:10 and asked if it was on its way and was told the driver had already left and would be there in a few minutes. Called again when 15 minutes later our order still hasn't arrived. Called again at 10:40 when our order still hasn't arrived. Spoke with a lady who answered the phone and said she would call the driver to see where he was, and would talk to the manager about comping our meals since at that point they were 45 minutes late. Update: The driver arrived at 11:04, and after talking to the manager for 10 minutes about our order he agreed to comp 50% of our total (which I still think is 50% too little compensation for an order that is over an hour late). I understand that 10:00am was an "estimate", but when I "estimate" that I will be somewhere by 10am, 5-10 minutes late is reasonable. 64 minutes late is not reasonable. 64 minutes is not an estimate, that is late beyond late. Had we been given some type of notice that our food was going to be 64 minutes late, we would have left our office and picked it up ourselves as they are only 1.6 miles away. But as we are at work, and paying for delivery was an option, we opted to pay the additional fee and have it delivered. I can't speak for my other co-workers as to how their "breakfast at 11:20" (instead of breakfast at "estimated" 10am) was, but I ordered the 3-egg omelet with feta ($2 upcharge), green peppers ($1), and zucchini ($1), and as expected it is cold. Cold, overcooked eggs, partially cooked green peppers and zucchini, and the hash browns are just large chunks of mushy red potato with a minimal amount of seasoning. A bagel came with it, so I ordered a toasted everything bagel with cream cheese and butter on the side, only it didn't come toasted and had cream cheese on it and not on the side as ordered. So all in all, the food was very late, cold, overcooked and undercooked, bland, and not prepared as requested. Made such a nice first impression on a potential new customer... read more

Have you ever heard of Barry Reuben? There's something about a New York Style Deli that invokes those feelings of nostalgia. They take you back to the days in Brooklyn when your aunt Grelda and your uncle Morty used to bring a bag of bagels from the corner place. You had to shmear the cream cheese just right or else the lox would fall off and the cat would have a field day with it. You remember those days right? I stopped in for lunch wanting a pastrami sandwich piled nice and high, when I something on the menu board caught my eye. Something called a Barry Reuben. Barry Reuben? What was that? The waitress explained it was an "off-the-frame" turkey with Muenster cheese, Cole slaw, and Thousand Island dressing on rye bread. It was served with fries and house pickles. Apparently, Barry is a popular guy around here for just $11.99 (plus tax). I'm glad I went with her recommendation, it was one tasty sandwich!! If you're looking for a little throwback to your day, this place is perfect. There's a traditional deli case selling everything from whitefish to tongue (yes...tongue). Bagels and Bialys are located in a see through display case just to the right of the entrance. The all-important and traditional rugalach can be found just below the bagels in the same case. Take a pound or two for the folks back home, it's delicious! You can even call ahead and place your orders for easy pick-up or if you're in the area, they deliver! Open 'till 3:00pm you can catch the locals kibitzing over breakfast or lunch with the occasional bubbie all verklempf over pictures of her grandchildren. Tucked in a shopping plaza, this is where all the northerners residing in Palm-Aire come to get their fix of NY deli type cuisine. Both times I've eaten their food it has only been take-out, but the service at the deli counter is fairly quick. So far I've had their chicken club salad and salty lox - both which have satisfied my hunger in all the right ways. Breakfast and lunch, this is definitely a treat. Breakfast you get a lot with a cup of coffee at no charge if you eat in! It's the basics but the bagels are cooked fresh their daily the old way!
