Customer service In The store is poor. I was in line for almost 7-8 minutes and the phone rings then again and again and they take 3 phone orders while I'm standing at the register. Calls that came in After I got in line and now here I sit 14 minutes after ordering waiting in 2 bagels because of the phone orders. We come in every weekend after surfing or used to. Poor service I this only right to take customers in the order they arrive / call. Or have separate stations for in person versus phone orders. read more

This is my favorite bagels place. It has two of my favorite things bagels lunch sandwiches and vietnamese ice coffee and teas. If i can i would eat here everyday. They serve breakfast & lunch all day. My favorite is the Lox specials, Turkey &bacon sandwich, maple honey ham, tuna. You can chose from over 20 bagels or croissants or sandwich rolls. Croissants and rolls are very good too. I love all their drinks to pair with my lunch sandwiches like viet ice coffee, house milk teas, thai tea boba or fountain sodas. Wow! Normally this place is great! I mean the people are amazing and so helpful and friendly BUT today around 1:30. The cashier was not having it. A great little spot right around the corner from me. Rennovated in the last couple of years, it still has a fresh, clean feel to it. Indoor and outdoor seating is available. There are many food options available, but I tend to stick with their bagels because I'm always on the run. The bagels are fresh and soft. My only complaint is that the flavors are not particularly strong. A cranberry bagel just tastes like a regular bagel. I received enough cream cheese to shmeer a couple of bagels (thank you for that, cuz I love my cream cheese!!). Their coffee is terrific, and you can sip on it while you wait for your breakfast. The folks that work here are efficient and polite. They get the job done, and do it in a friendly manner without engaging in needless chatter. I also tried some of the macarons that I've been eyeing for a while. You let the cashier know how many you want, and then an employee comes out to pull them out of the freezer for you. Note to all: Believe them when they tell you to let them warm-up a bit before you eat them (yes, personal experience...ouch). Macarons are good, and a nice sweet treat after your meal. I think the tiramisu was the best of the bunch I got. This is definitely a well-run spot for breakfast or coffee/tea, and I would highly recommend a stop here. read more

Months later and I'm still a fan of this place! I feel like some of the yelpers here are expecting some fancy 3 star Michelin restaurant. Let's be real this isn't lobster/filet mignon but they make DAMN good bagels for those days we are all just too lazy to make our own at home haha. I don't even think store bought bagels would taste as good as theirs which they bake fresh daily! This is a great breakfast stop. I love there bagels! They freshly make and bake there bagels and they make there own Cream Cheese! Bagels and Tea is located on Bolsa Chica and Heil in the plaza next to Albertson's. The interior is very clean and spacious. The decorations are simple, but lovely. There's wall and table plants throughout the cafe. They offer several different kinds of bagels - rainbow, blueberry, garlic, raisin, jalapeno cheese, and everything bagel just to name a few. The menu is simple; you can choose to build your own breakfast bagel or you can choose one off the menu. They also offer tea and boba here! And for dessert they have macaroons and macaroon ice cream! All of my favorite food items in one place! I had ordered the Astago Cheese bagel with eggs, cheese, and ham. Every bite was delicious! The bagel was warm and soft, the cheese was gooey and melted, and the ham was thickly sliced. So yummy! I also ordered the Coconut Milk Tea with boba and that was really good too. The boba was too soft for my liking, but the milk tea flavor was tasty. My first visit here was excellent and I would highly recommend coming here. All this for only $9! I was pleasantly surprised to find the extras on my plate. The portions are huge! The lox was very fresh and they put the capers under the salmon so they don't fall out when eating. There is even a pickle slice, a chunk of canrelope and a cookie included. Such a great value. The wife and I LOVE to come here when we feel like treating ourselves, but more so when we are lazy and don't feel like cooking breakfast for ourselves after, let's just say an adventurous and eventful evening full of libations. Like most of us, they are not perfect, but they own up to their mistakes which is always a huge plus to me. On one visit, they made a mistake on wife's bagel, but they were very accommodating and fixed the issue right away, we got to keep the mistake A++ for customer service and ownership. The menu has many different verities of bagels, cream cheese, bagel sandwiches, and specialty drinks. They also have fresh juices! I was randomly craving a bagel after the beach and this shop happened to be open. I ordered tuna on a jalapeño cheese bagel....and was delightfully surprised. The bagel was soft with a crunch and tuna had a nice amount of seasoning. The tomato, lettuce, sprouts and avocado sat perfectly in the bagel. First time customer and I was not disappointed. I ordered the lox bagel, without capers and it was perfect. Love the amount of onions, tomato, and lox they gave. The bagel was in the thinner side compared to other places I've been, but there's so much that it ends up not being a problem. It came with a cookie, a piece of cantaloupe, and a slice of pickle. My boyfriend got the BLT sandwich, asked for it open face and they were able to do that for him. They gave a tone of lettuce tomato and a good amount of bacon. Also came with the same sides. The cookies here are tiny but they're great. Heated up makes them even better. We also got the house milk tea with boba, which was sweet and thankfully not overly sweet, and the horchata milk tea which was my favorite thing that we ordered. One of our favorite past times as a family during COVID is trying different boba places in OC. We go about twice a week and found that we would have to trek down to Westminster or Garden Grove to satisfy our boba craving until now, thanks to Bagels Tea. First, this place is located less than a mile from us (in the Albertson's shopping plaza) and we had no clue that they sold boba. We ordered our standard green tea (less sugar) with boba and thai ice tea with boba. After trying her thai tea boba my picky teen daughter instantly claimed that this was her new favorite boba spot. My husband told me that he couldn't believe how affordable the boba was. I took a sip of the green tea boba and was super excited to find out that it tasted just like my favorite boba place (Ding Tai on HB Main) but closer to home and at a better price point. The lox bagel is really filling and delicious. The bagel itself was perfect, my sister commented on how it was not hard like other bagel places lol.
