Been long time customer in restaurant and delivery. But today had a delivery guy who was the worst I've ever experienced. Calls me to say he was nearby in Englewood when I'm in Ft Lee! Then calls me to say he's on his way but I can't hear him over his car music! Then when you get to my home I tried to communicate to him that I couldn't hear him over his music and he said I can do whatever I want in my car! So I told him never to return to my home. But as always the pizza was perfect so he didn't ruin our meal. read more

Unfortunately this review will not be about their pizza because I never got to try it. I ordered a large thin crust pepperoni pizza through Uber Eats this evening (approximately 7:15 pm) as I was intrigued by the positive rating and quick delivery estimate. For reference, I live 2.5 miles or 10 minutes from this establishment. Estimated delivery (with the merchant as delivery, not an Uber Eats driver) was between 7:40 and 8:00. I kept refreshing the app for an update. Seeing none, I opted to "call store" at 8:07 PM. The woman who answered the phone seemed annoyed that I called at the 50 minute mark and said they "were very busy tonight" and I asked if it was out for delivery, which she confirmed. Great. Time rolls on, no pizza. I called again at the 90 minute mark and the same woman answered the phone and seemed exasperated that I was calling again. I asked if they were so busy, why take orders on food delivery apps? She said "we take all orders" and then I asked what time they close and she hung up on me. I am not one that seeks out problems and I always give others the benefit of the doubt. A simple "sorry for the delay" or "let me follow up on that for you" would have been appreciated, though perhaps not necessary. What I did not expect was that getting a pizza delivered would be impossible, and that the person representing this establishment on the phone would not at least pretend to be apologetic in a customer service-ish way. I would even have appreciated if my order was rejected or cancelled at the onset if the kitchen was slammed and drivers were scarce. I get it. Honesty works! No need to be rude though. I ended up cancelling the order through Uber Eats at the 2 hour 15 minute mark, throwing some chicken tenders from Costco in the oven, and writing this review. TL;DR - don't order from here on an app, because it may not come, and when you call to follow up, it will seem as if you are bothering them. There aren't a lot of decent pizza options in Fort Lee, so I was really looking forward to Baggios based on some things I had heard. Their pizza is thin crust (which is good, but not particularly special in the northeast) but otherwise is bland (not awful, just bland)... the service, however, is borderline hostile. No one greets you when you come in, or even smiles or says hi back to you when you smile and say hi. Honestly, of the three guys at the counter, one looked angry, the other looked annoyed, and the other looked condescending. Fort Lee is such a vibrant town, but Baggio's stands out for being unwelcoming--giving the impression everyone there is bitter about something. Well, it's called the "hospitality industry" for a reason, so why go into it if you don't care? These people don't care about you, and honestly don't seem to care to much about their pizza, either. Next time I get pizza I'll go to the not-great place around the corner from my house, where at least they say thanks. read more

We've ordered from Baggio's several times, and it has been our go-to restaurant for no-frills pizza delivery. Tonight, however, was a serious disappointment. We ordered a pepperoni and onion pizza. The pizza that we received had what appeared to be deep-fried and seriously burnt, blackened onions. I called the restaurant to ask what happened to our pizza, and the employee who picked up the phone explained that he's only responsible for taking orders and does not prepare the pizza. He asked if I wanted to order something else and when I said no, he nearly hung up the call before I explained that the onions appeared like they were deep fried, burnt, and oily. He spoke to another employee and came back to say that that the onions were sautéed and these were the onions used when they "run out of the regular onions" and he apologized. I've never seen sautéed onions on a pizza, much less severely burnt onions -- probably because neither are appetizing. While we picked most of them off, the pizza was oily because of the onions. We ate the pizza because we were hungry, but it tasted like a burnt onion ring. I'm not sure if this was a failed experiment or if this pizza was treated like an afterthought, but it should never be repeated. This was not what anyone hopes for when ordering a pizza. I hate to leave bad reviews, and I'll promptly remove this, so long as Baggios commits to never doing this again, or making "sautéed onions" its own separate choice as a topping so we can be sure to avoid it. read more

Baggios Pizza is a solid pizza joint. Had the special which consist of two slices and a can of soda for $5. Great deal. I think you can order ant time of day. Pizza was on point. I ordered delivery from Baggios finally after years of driving by it, reviews seems pretty good so had high hopes. Breakdown is this: The most important part of any pizza, the dough, is made well. Nice and chewy, super thin, pleasantly surprised here. Sauce, however is super sweet and very tangy as well. Extra cheesy which is not exactly a plus depending on who you ask. Also ordered their fried calamari which was a complete flop. Before even opening the clear plastic lid, I could tell it was previously frozen. So, regretfully trying the first piece, soggy, flavorless, sad calamari...even for delivery. Pros: pizza dough - whoever is making it knows what he or she is doing Cons: delivery took over and hour, canned sauce (hence the sweet tang), canned mushrooms, they use store bought grated mozz, frozen calamari (likely most ingredients are frozen or pre-made) Overall, average, only way I'd go again is for a slice in store read more

Updated Review: Baggios pizza never got delivered on Saturday night and it had closed by the time I called to inquire about the status of my order. Grub hub contacted the secondary number and the manager said they weren't working today and didn't have phone numbers for anyone else (odd). My order got refunded, but sadly I'm now upset and hungry. Used to like this place..dined in with a party of 7. Ordered 2 pies a salad and pene vodka..100$ worth of food. First off the penne vodkq was worst i had at a italian restaurant. Pasta was straight out of supetmarket pasta box. The pizza was ok..but as thin as they make the pizza why can they never make it crisp where slice doesnt sag down, even with no toppings. Service horrible..waiter kept trying to rush us and at one point even tried taking a plate away i was still working on. He would come back and say if we want to pack anything to go, when we still had half the food left and we were only 30min in. Then the fool comes back with a check and says whenever ur ready. Mm I love Baggios! Ive been a customer for over 5 years. I recently moved to San Diego and always make it a point to stop by or order delivery when I'm back in town. It's hard to find places that have tasty salads in the area so they're a great place for a healthy option, despite being a pizza shop and restaurant. I love that I can indulge on pasta or pizza there but also opt for an avocado salad with chicken. Their pizza is delicious and thin crust - so much more guilt free than a regular slice without sacrificing the satisfaction of eating pizza!!! BYOB is another reason I love Baggios. came by on a whim during weekday for some slices during lunch time. nice artisan slices. these are the cracker-thin style. honestly, not my fave style, but it suffices. I think this style is for people that like lighter pizza. sauce is good. this is more a of sit down type place with a nice outdoor area. they have some lunch specials for chicken parm heros (about $10) and it seems to vary, probably monthly? my only qualm is that they used canned mushrooms, but I didn't pay too much for the slice, $2.50 so I guess I can't complain. I usually pay $4 plus for a mushroom slice at Little Italy pizza in midtown but they have better shrooms :) But give Baggios a look. seems like a quality joint. read more

My husband and I came here for our 5th anniversary.... from the moment we stepped into Baggios I knew it we were going to have a romantic evening. We started out with some seafood appetizers (baked clams and mussels in red). Omg! We could not stop dipping our bread in the mussel sauce. We then had 2 pasta dishes.. both of them were homemade and perfectly al dente. We really enjoyed our night, the lights were dimmed, and Armik music was playing. For some reason, this restaurant is no longer offering free tap water, instead charging $1 for bottled water. I think this is just a cash grab. Other restaurants in the area serve tap water for free. Honestly, Baggio never goes wrong. This place is great and their wraps are amazing. I usually get the cesar salad wrap or roasted red pepper wrap. The chicken wings are always good. It's amazing every time. Also done really fast. I've dined I'm and out and the staff is so friendly and attentive. They get to know you and I recommend dinning I'm during the warmer weather so you can eat outside in the back. The place is greatly managed and super relaxing when you're in the back. 10/10 will always recommend!!! read more

I'm from SI so I like to think (and obviously purely my own opinion haha) that I know pizza! When my parents moved to Jersey, I needed to find a new pizza place! And this comes the closest to what I'm used to. Thin crust pizza with tangy sauce and melted cubes of fresh mozzarella (cheese is in patches, not across the whole pie). I've been coming pretty consistently over the years and I haven't noticed much variance in food or service. I will admit, it's a bit pricier than you can get elsewhere for pizza/pasta but I'm ok with that. Pasta portions are on the larger size - can definitely share between 2 ppl with an app or salad. Most times I got with my parents or 2 gfs (so in 3's) and we get 2 pastas + app or 1 pizza/1pasta/1 salad and maybe some wings (crispy not saucy) and its plenty. Generally ~$20pp incl tip. I recommend the vodka pizza or plain pizza. The standout pasta for me is the Black Linguine with shrimp, garlic, tomatoes and broccoli rabe (no sauce, its tossed in olive oil). Always end with a tartufo - ice cream scoop dipped in chocolate. It's nice to sit outside in the summer. There's a muni lot behind the restaurant if you can't find street parking. Also, no longer on the menu, but the chopped cucumber, tomatoes and onion salad (Sorrentina Salad) can still be ordered if you ask. :) BYOB!! read more

This is a place my father introduced to me while I was still attending college and I am very glad he did! First entering the restaurant, I did not think I was going to get great food hear because it looked like a glorified pizzeria, however I was proven wrong shortly after. They have a nice little dinning area for those who do not wish to do take out. They also have a back patio which is a perfect place to enjoy a meal especially during the summer. It is shaded and highly comfortable. My first time here we got the thin crust pizza as an appetizer which was perfect! Thin, crisp, perfect temperature, great sauce with just the right amount of cheese. For an entree, I ordered the linguini in a red clam sauce and to this day I am convinced it is the best in the area! The sauce is light, flavorful and FULL of large and small pieces of perfectly cooked garlic. So if your craving seafood ad garlic, there is without a doubt the entree you should get. They were also very generous with the amount of clams they also put into the dish. I enjoyed it so much that I actually fully finished the plate and even used some of the bread on the table to finish up the left over sauce. We then shared a piece of their cheesecake for dessert which was also amazing. I have went back a few times without him with friends of mine and they have enjoyed it also. It is also a BYOB which is always a plus. The waiters and staff is highly attentive and very nice! The parking is a little annoying due to the fact it's n Main Street in fort lee but it is worth looking for a spot. There were two appetizers I have tried there before that I have complaints about... I found the calamari to be a little chewy, it was without a doubt straight from the freezer and was not as flavorful I wished it would be Also I have tried the Grilled Portobello Mushroom which came with red peppers and mozzarella cheese, it was very flavorful, however the mushroom itself was a little cold. I would try it again one more time to see if there is a difference because in general it was pretty good. All and all it is a place worth going to. They do thin crust pizza and they do it well. It's $2.50/slice and you will definitely want more than 1! They also have a few lunch specials. Chicken parm sandwich with fries and a soda for $10. It's tasty and very filling. I usually get pizza to go but the couple times I've eaten in, the service has been great too. This was my first and last visit to this establishment. Despite some favorable recommendations, my experience here was incredibly disappointing. We ordered an appetizer of fried calamari, a pizza, and Diet Cokes. The calamari seemed mass-produced, as if it had come from a food-service pack. The batter was flavorless, and they included a woefully small serving of marinara, which was the only way we could tolerate these. Our sodas were served in a disappointing 8 oz bottle. We had ordered the Pizza Montenegro, which featured feta and olives. When asked, out server indicated that the pizza had a tomato sauce (I don't like white pizzas). What came to the table was essentially a white pizza with a few pieces of diced tomatoes. When we complained, the owner, who made the pizzas, started putting tomato sauce in top of the pizza, after the fact, and gave us excessive attitude for not knowing what we were ordering. We cancelled our pizza order as a result, paid for the drinks and calamari, and went elsewhere for lunch. I won't ever come back here. Other points to note are that the garlic knots, which are served at the start, we're very tasty, and that parking in the neighborhood is pretty rough. read more

A tiny little gem in the heart of Fort Lee. If great food matters more to you than a fancy atmosphere, then this is the right choice. We shared a margarita pie - delicious. I had the beet salad (for $11 it was enough for 3 people). What is great about this place is that they have a quaint backyard for outdoor seating during the summer. Best pizza around. Real Fort Lee pizza eaters know. I was 9 years old the first time I had Baggios pizza, and ever since then, my life has just been.... different. In a good way. My bar on what pizza is supposed to be has always been set extremely high because of this place. I always compare every slice I eat to a Baggios slice, and Baggios wins every time.
