My party of two arrived around 6:15 on a Sunday evening and were seated right away. We ordered quick and our food came out by 6:40, nice! I ordered the Jamaican jerk chicken, subbing the beans for green beans. My meal was delicious! The plantains were a bit tough compared to other times I've had them, but not a deal breaker. My wife and I took our friend who resides in a memory care facility to this location for lunch on Tuesday March 3. The meal was very good but the extra care he was given was exemplary. He insisted on paying for lunch but when the server ran his CC it came back as only a partial payment. He did not and could not understand the receipt and the why it was a split payment. The server asked the manager, (Alice, or maybe Alex, I didn't hear her name clearly) to help explain it. The manager spent 15 minutes or more very patiently going over the bill many times, each time explaining it in a different way. Came by for their happy hour, which consisted of 1/2 off appetizers and drink specials. We sat in the patio area since it was a nice day. I ordered the coconut shrimp, spinach dip, and the ultimate pina colada. Everything came out all at once and food was nice and hot. Been coming here for years and have had good experiences. I love the vibe and decor. We actually went on Easter evening. It was only a five minute wait. The parking was surprisingly easy as it's usually jam packed. You can't go wrong with their coconut shrimp! It's always on point. The last time I went, I ordered the grilled chicken with cilantro créma and mashed potatoes.. Okay, yum! The chicken was cooked perfectly (just a TAD salty). The cilantro crema was so delicious with the chicken. They gave a massive portion of mashed potatoes with corn. Definitely a meal with leftovers! My table all enjoyed their entrees. I love this location and this was one of my favorite places when I moved back to Florida. The food is always good and the service is excellent. The only thing about this place in general is that the drinks can sometimes be pretty weak. Other than that this is a cool spot to get some good food and chill. It had been a while since I visited a Bahama Breeze. Their menu has variety and mostly everyone can find something they could eat. This past couple of weeks I visited twice and one experience was so much better than the other. This past Thursday everything from our food, server and service was good and we left with a good experience. Inara our server was friendly and focused to get us taken care of pretty quick. We did not engage much but it was a bit busy, so it is understandable. As for food, we started with the conch friters and follwed with the salmon tostada salad and churrasco steak (not pictured). I always enjoy going to Bahama Breeze. As far as chain restaurants go. Bahama Breeze is really good and very consistent on their menu quality. Most places I like to try new things on the menu i every time I go, but Bahama breeze is one of those places that I have a go-to menu item and for the most part I stick to it. I love the Jerk Chicken at Bahama Breeze. I am not into overly spicy items and this is just the right about of spice to add great flavor without setting your cranium on fire. The pieces of chicken that come on this is a good amount to be a nice balance with he bow tie pasta. THe environment is spacious and you usually can get a seat where you are not on top of you neighboring diners. I like this Altamonte location in particular. It sits in from of the mall parking lot so parking is always plentiful. Last time we were here the service was quick and friendly. read more

Had lunch here yesterday 7/17/25 with a friend. We were greeted and seated promptly by a friendly host. I always enjoy the island ambiance at bahama breeze and this was no exception. Our server Bella appeared at our table immediately and provided great and friendly service throughout our meal. My friend and I both ordered the lunch combo with salad. He had a grilled chicken sandwich and I had the half Cuban sandwich. We both agreed that our sandwiches were delicious and very satisfying. We came here a few weeks ago after doing a haunted trail for spooky SZN. Decided to come here and give it a go. My first time. We had a host seat us and she? sat us very close to another table, darn near touching knees with the other table. We asked to be sat further away and she? Did. Not too long after being seated my wife had to use the restroom as she was in there the host came into the bathroom with another worker and decided to talk about us about how we didn't want to be seated so close to another table. Don't get me wrong if its crowded, I get it. But the whole room was empty and we didn't have to be sat right next to someone like that. I get how tables work. Anyways so we ended up telling our server what happened and she was so apologetic for the host. She got the manager and the manager was absolutely phenomenal. I believe her name was (Shenia, Shaina, Sheena?) she looked almost mixed (do not want to assume) and was absolutely gorgeous. I feel so bad on how I have to explain it like that I just want to make sure she gets full recognition because she was a absolute beautiful soul. We had another mishap and they completely compensated our entire meal. For that I had the server charge me one cent so I could tip her $50. They both went out of their way and both incidents was not their fault. Also these are the best damn chicken wings I have EVER had. Crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Just because there is a few hiccups along the way never make quick decisions to not come back. I was pleasantly surprised by the tasty food at BB. Admittedly my expectations were low as these chain type places are usually sub par at best. However, we were a group of various tastes and preferences and needed a menu suited to multiple needs. We were also limited to the Altamonte area so settled here. I had the presence of mind to make reservations and I'm glad that I did. The place was packed on a Saturday night. Once seated, the service was a bit shakey. The server took longer than expected to deliver drinks and take the food order. Everything was delivered as ordered though so no major complaint. I ordered the tequila blackened salmon with mango salsa and was allowed to sub the sides it came with for muduros and house salad. The trio of items all impressed me! The flavors were beyond what I expected. The salmon was so juicy and I loved the sweet mango salsa atop the fish. The real surprise though was the excellent house dressing on the salad. It was just slightly sweet but the conservative drizzle on top worked. And finally the muduros were wonderful. Sweet and soft inside and crunch outside. Loved it! Next time I'll save room for dessert but this time I was too full from clearing my plate and throwing back a strawberry mojito. Worth it though. I'd definitely come back sans bitterness. I visited this Bahama Breeze location on 12/10/2021. I arrived around 6:30PM so it was hella packed, but the 20 minute standby estimated turned out to only be 5. Right after being seated my wonderful server brought over water and left me alone to do my thing. After scouring the menu for some time, I realized that Bahama Breeze was no different than any other seafood chain restaurant you can find in the West Coast, albeit with a little more Caribbean-inspired flare (basically just the jerk chicken). Whatever, I was here and hungry so I started off my dinner with the Coconut Shrimp (served with citrus-mustard sauce, $11.99) and a Frozen Bahamarita (signature frozen margarita made with tequila, kiwi melon, strawberry and mango ices, served with a shot of Cactus Juice Schnapps, $7.99) for that island zing I came down to Florida for. My main course was the Blackened Mahi Tacos (flour tortillas with blackened Mahi Mahi, shredded cabbage, tomato salsa, cilantro and zesty lime aioli with a side of guac) and a side of Clam Chowder ($12.49/2 tacos). The drink was damn sweet, but that was to be expected. I hardly tasted any alcohol it was so overwhelmed with sugar. Not complaining, just an observation. I found the Coconut Shrimp to be subpar. They were nicely fried to crispy goodness but lacked a lot of flavor. I drenched every piece in the citrus-mustard sauce for my taste buds to enjoy. The tacos were disappointment. No flavor, even after loaded up the guac and asked for some hot sauce. The fish was super dry. The chowder was watery, and that was just it. I don't think there was one clam in the entire cup. It definitely could have been better, and had I known this was a chain I would have opted out of eating here. I don't think I'd return if I saw one somewhere else. The reason for the additional star is for the amazing server who even offered to bring me something else to eat. However, I wasn't feelin' it anymore by then. read more

I want to start by saying the food was delicious! I had what I thought was the lighter portion, but it was huge. I couldn't even finish it. The cilantro sauce was soooooo good I had to ask for some to go! The chicken was yummy, but I do wish there was more corn. We had the beef empanadas, but they weren't my cup of tea. The drink in the pineapple was good but they left the core, so I felt cheated yummy drink but the price doesn't match what you get, you're basically paying overprice for pineapple. I also had a bahamarita, it was in a very thin oddly shaped glass. So you're paying for the look. Neither of the drinks had much alcohol in it I had the pineapple cheesecake empanadas for desert. It was good with the chocolate dip and I think it also came with cherry sauce. The double tartness from the sauce and pineapples weren't for me. The empanadas were different. I loved the pastry but I think smaller pineapples bits would've made it a killer dessert. We asked to switch seats. My friends would say it's because the booths were a little snug (not very fat friendly) but I wanted to switch because they sat us near the kitchen *iykyk * Our waiter didn't seem like she wanted our table. She didn't tell us her name, we had to ask her for stuff multiple times, napkins, water, straws, etc. She'd come to the table, we'd ask for something and before someone else could ask she'd be gone. We waited around a lot for her to return I had to ask for my shot of cactus juice for my bahamarita. No shade to her tho, we didn't give her a hard time. Coming in for happy hour on a rainy afternoon paid off - we had the best pina coladas to start off, together with half price appetizers - coconut shrimp and spinach dip and chips. Our server Patrick was both charming and attentive with efficient service. Our dinners of coconut shrimp and the new chicken pineapple bowl dish. Went by for some late evening cocktails. Unfortunately they don't have late night happy hour on fridays, but that's ok. We had a pin killer and a hibiscus Margarita. Both were hood drinks. Hibiscus is bitter (I love it), and the syrup is thick (meh), but I would come back and have another of these in the future. We also had the fried chicken sliders. They had fried smashed plantains for the buns and it was delicious. The aioli sauce is on point. We'll come back again and have a proper meal soon. read more

We requested to sit outside and we were told that the wait would be about 25 mins; however, when we went outside to wait we saw several tables free and/or just waiting to be cleaned off. We ended up just sitting at the bar. I had the mojito and the blackened Mahi tacos. The mojito was very blah...nothing great about it at all. I ordered the Mahi tacos because they came with a side of guacamole. However, I received the tacos without the guacamole; when I asked for it, I was told that they were out, which is something they could have informed me of when I ordered or at least when they brought the food out. I believe that they simply thought I would not notice. I gave two stars for 1) the bartender was really friendly and 2) the reggae music/dj playing. read more
