Met at the door with smiles all around and since this was a surprise dinner gave the name and was escorted to the large table for celebration! The waitress was attentive at first, however when another large party came in and then two additional tables (my thought was she was slammed, however still friendly) We ordered a few appetizers, which gave most of us a variety of tastes. Beef Empanadas (good with dipping sauce), Crab & Three Cheese dip (a bit gritty, however good taste - especially with the chips) and Jamaican Jerk Wings (Loved them great spice and flavorful...if you can't take spicy be sure to have something close by to cool your mouth. This taster was pleased with the starters. The main dish of the reviewer Seafood Paella fell really flat. The seafood was slightly over cooked, the mussels were (a couple of them) gritty and the rice did not add anything to the dish. It was bland, yellow rice should show up to support the seafood. I will say in comparison to the Jerk wings which were aggressively seasoned to perfection, and then to get a bland Paella you would think you were at a different restaurant. The space in the restaurant with several large groups was still open and comfortable and every group still had their space to celebrate without over lapping each other. I will definitely come back and order a more flavorful dish.

Second Bahama breeze visited, the other in Florida. Food was good and service was really quick. It's a franchise. Daughter like the pineapple shrimp meal.

We really enjoyed this place! The ambiance and food is great for being a chain. Our waitress Pehyton was a delight and you can tell she's been a waitress for a while. Always there when we needed her and so friendly. The food was perfect for our group - enough veggie options for vegetarian and an abundance of seafood options for our fish eaters. We will definitely be back! The only negative is we downed our meals so fast that I didn't have enough time to take photos ‍

As my husband said, it's maybe a once a 1-2 year place to visit. Don't get me wrong. The tropical vibes and spacious restaurant with vast seafood options are fun and upbeat, but the food is mediocre at best and quite salty if you ask me. I tried the jerk chicken pineapple bowl, literally served in half a pineapple. Instaworthy, sure, but the sauce was too overpowering, and I wished I had triple the amount of white rice to mellow it out. Yelp told me 3 minutes ago I'm a wine bar fan, and your wine bar fan girl here tried the pineapple coconut martini as well. It was well balanced, but small for $10. Husband had the jerk chicken platter, which came with rice, beans, and plantains. He prepped his stomach for this by indulging in the pina colada, which looked refreshing. The kids' meals were about $7 and plenty of food and came with fruit on the side, as well as an Honest juice box. Service was very friendly. Enjoyed the touristy, beachy getaway vibes here, but the quality of food left something to be desired.

The covered outdoor patio is the best place to be seated! It does set the tone of being in the 'Bahamas.' Open windows, music playing, it's like your on vacation while enjoying fruity tropical drinks. Fiancé took me here for date night and we ordered 2 of their new drinks. I had the guava martini, it was okay. I would not order it again, too sweet for me but others might enjoy it. He ordered the Bruno's smash hit and that was very good. Strong, bold and sweet all at the same time. It was very well balanced. They also offer non alcoholic versions of their drinks so that's a plus if you prefer mocktails. The food was eh. I ordered the jerk chicken pasta, it was edible. Matt ordered the seafood paella and honestly it was probably one of the worsts we've had. We're both of Hispanic descent so this is a bias opinion. It was edible, but not good. Service was okay, pretty slow however it was busy and the staff was nice. The best part of Bahamas breeze was the atmosphere for sure. We'd come back to have more drinks and try the apps!

Went here for a friend's birthday dinner. The food was really good and our server was super friendly and made great recommendations. I had the coconut shrimp tacos which were delicious. I also had the margarita flight. The menu is a little pricey however the food is worth it. I would definitely come back here.

Went here for a birthday and service was quick! Loved what I ordered but I wish they had a mango sorbet as an actual dessert option rather than a topping on a fruit cup.

Bahama Breeze is quite breezy, and they have plenty of bamboo leaf looking fans throughout the dining area. Going to Bahama Breeze is always a decent experience for me and I was left satisfied overall. I ordered the Jamaican Stuffed Plantain Bowl which had yellow rice, ground beef, black bean sauce, cheese, all in a whole caramelized sweet plantain. It was delicious. There's not a lot of cuisines that center on plantains, the little brother of bananas, so definitely check out this dish here. Service was good and the overall experience was good. BATHROOM REVIEW: Located past the kitchen, the mens bathroom is spacious. There are several stalls and a small designated area for the urinals. Sinks were plenty, and the overall urinating experience was good. Sit or squat? Sit!

Excellent food and drink to remind you of the island life. Seriously, I recommend the Conch Fritters, Blackened Mahi Tacos, Tequila glazed Salmon, Coconut Shrimp, Skillet simmered Jerk Shrimp, Cuban Black Bean Soup and there are many more great appetizers and Entrees. The service is quite good for a restaurant this size and you can always order from the table top Ziosk.

I used to frequent Bahama Breeze a lot back in Florida when I was a student at UCF, and I can clearly tell that the quality isn't what it used to be. The second we walked in, there was a very foul smell on the inside. I'm not sure what happened, but we opted to sit outside to avoid it. The decor is still practically the same (tropical vibes, colors and what not). Service was great, no complaints. It was a bit busy but our waiter was on it! I wish I could remember his name, as he definitely deserves a raise. He was taking orders, giving recommendations, cleaning tables, all while handling a 10-15 person table right next to us. Hats off to this man! The menu has slightly changed since I last dined-in a few years ago. They've added a couple of new menu items and kept the few favorites. Prices have gone up drastically, but that's the new norm I guess. Here's what we had - Appetizer: Yuca Cheese Sticks - this is a new item. I had high expectations, and was hoping for a cheese pull, but unfortunately that wasn't the case. They tasted like normal mozzarella sticks, but the sauces that came with it (cilantro lime and sriracha aioli) were good. (3/5) Mains: Blackened Mahi Tacos and Coconut Shrimp Tacos. The tacos were alright. The plates were very messy, but satisfying. The meats could use a bit more seasoning as both tacos were rather bland. The fries were crispy and delicious. (3/5) Desserts: Pineapple Cheesecake Empanadas. The empanadas were crunchy and sweet. The filling was alright, but slightly thick. I expected the cheese to ooze out when I took a bite but that did not happen. Still good overall. (3.5/5) ~Till next time!

A beautiful spring day, a fantastic open-air patio, 1/2 priced appetizers with a matching happy hour? Count us in! Me and hub-hub were looking for a great spot to enjoy a light dinner this past week, and as we'd passed by Bahama Breeze a few times, this time we caught wind of the opened patio windows and turned in- definitely glad we did. Service was instantaneous, and must admit our waiter on the patio was fast, pleasant, and - for the most part- really attentive- always a plus, which we know will please YOU too. Ok- as we weren't too hungry, we ordered a couple well drinks and a couple appetizers- we got the crab and 3 cheese dip (yummy) and the skillet simmered jerk shrimp - now to be fair, the shrimp tasted great - but the jerk flavoring was a little "flat" (not a bad thing, but not as strong as we'd have expected). For the main, we got two vegetarian black bean/guac handheld "tacos" - which (despite the blowback which would come shortly thereafter at home) was absolutely yummy - wow. This was the only "non-happy-hour" item we ordered. Needless to say - we were impressed! Loved the patio, loved the service, and the 1/2 priced happy hour drinks/apps were amazing- we'll be back - and you should go if you enjoy great service and an island-themed environment!

I got -shrimp po boys (x-tomato) with fries -one of each sauce -peach cobbler On my 15 minute drive home everything was still fresh and warm and crispy. -Fries were SO perfectly seasoned I almost didn't even need a sauce, which for me is crazy as I need a sauce with everything (but I always try it first without). -The po boy...my god. It was so crispy, fresh, the shrimps were perfectly battered (hate when they hide the shrimp between 10 layers of batter), the lettuce was fresh and surprisingly not wilted by the time I got to my destination. I'm not one for cheese on my po boys, and almost got it without, but im actually really glad I kept the cheese on. -Sauces were all great, the Roumalade is where it's at though. I could've really just had 10 of those and been happy! I'm just so warmed by my experience there, as she went so above and beyond, AND my food was impeccable. She insisted that I upgrade to the plate instead which included cole slaw and potato salad for a small extra fee so I proceeded to lock it in. Shortly after, her husband Kenny greeted me and we had a friendly talk for a while. They hooked me up with an additional side and drink (they did not have to do that) which I thought was a very kind gesture. My food came out prompt, hot and fresh. I ate a few shrimp and fries while there before hitting the road. Everything was crispy, seasoned well and appetizing. I ate the cole slaw and potato salad later at work and enjoyed each. We were not in a hurry and couldn't decide what we wanted so we started with the calamari salad. $29, but it's huge and chock full of those calamari guys. Lettuce is always crisp and has everything I like in it (olives, eggs, carrots, artichoke, peppers, cucumbers, tomatoes, onions, and romaine lettuce). We were almost full just from the salad alone. I ordered a grouper sandwich (not fried), and my lovely wife ordered the Scottish salmon plate, which comes with potatoes and grilled vegetables. My sandwich came with coleslaw and fresh cut fries. They switched to fresh cut since my last visit, and this was an upgrade. My sandwich was great, and huge too. Could not finish it. Wife's meal was a humongous slab of salmon. The veggies now come on a smaller plate, but that's okay, given the size of the fish. Service was a tad slow, but like I said, we weren't in any hurry. Total tab was $100, with tax and that pesky 3% service fee. I really enjoyed the food and the ambiance. However, my most recent visit came in for dinner and I just had to finally update this post because throughout all of these visits, this place is so amazingly consistent in the food quality in the portions and in the incredible Japanese hospitable service. This is truly authentic legitimate food. And it's great to see the menu over the years really evolved as well as expand. This is a real go to, and I am so glad that they're here and not too far away and this is truly a great Japanese cultural feast and taste for the mouth!

Ok then- me, hubby, and a couple friends decided it was time to take Torizen for a test drive. On…read morea cold Saturday am, we arrived just before opening- when the guy opened the door? Well- let's just say he wasn't too warm or welcoming and could barely grunt a greeting. Hmm. We were quickly seated in a very japanese-looking restaurant (a good sign). We ordered two apps - the chicken karaage and the agedashi tofu. I ordered the spicy tonkatsu pork ramen (not on their web menu, but still...). First demerit- my ramen arrived before the apps did. Seriously. Seriously? Me with a main dish and my hubby/friends bereft of food? Oh wow. I didn't touch it until the apps arrived a couple minutes later - finally their mains arrived. Yay. The apps? Well, the chicken karaage was really fried chicken breast meat (no bones; not a prob for me, but hubby - a japanese man by birth- was not impressed). The agedashi tofu was yummy and quite good. Nice! Ok- my ramen was - yes- spicy and oily, as any good ramen should be. The bad part? I could tell the bean sprouts weren't fresh as my sensitive digestive tract let me know - fast- that the sprouts were "not" fresh. Yikes. Not a good thing - hence the demerit. Ok- first- we may come again. But gosh. the workers really need to be a bit happier to be there- or - if they can't be pleasant - keep them out of the public's eye. That would be a big help- after all, this was our first visit- and it wasn't too welcoming - it would have offset the bad sprouts, you know?
